Hey guys it's Christo or as most of you know me as Mortimer Gotch...and I really don't want to do this especially this close to King of Elite but I'm afraid I'll have to take some time off from EAW. College has just started back up and I've been wrapped up in work so much that I completely forgot about the deadline til today. Also I didn't want to admit this to anyone but as the weeks have gone on it's been harder and harder to get stuff out as Mortimer, I have no idea why but the inspiration is just slowly fading from this character. Hell I needed help from a non-efed writer friend of mine to finish the promo against Marx, I know that I'll probably get looked down at for that but I just didn't want to drop the ball and let you all down...but as I sat there today trying to think of something to write for KOE nothing came and I had to make the tough decision to step back for a while so I can handle my work and try and get my groove back. I feel guilty as hell having to do this so close to a big event but I'd rather be honest and give myself the time I need to relax and clear my mind rather than force myself to keep going. I really hope you all understand...

Oh I will be back there's no doubts on that, but I may be back under a different character. (Unless I can find a spark to revive Mort, who I really loved he just got hard to promo as.)

But either way, yeah. Paradise I find is one of those rare gimmicks where literally barely anyone suits him. It makes me feel bad because Chris Paradise has been one of my all-time favorite E-Fed gimmicks (And I'm not trying to insult anyone on the EAW roster or say anything because Paradise and I have been close friends for quite a long time).

Yeah I disagree. I think you are trying to insult EAW. I think you guys are a bunch of close minded fuckbois who don't have what it takes to move on from yo little ass FB feds. I'm sure everyone kisses yo asses there and tells you how great and special you are. Tells you how "rare" your gimmick is to the point that you become too stubborn to actually use some fucking creativity for once and modify it. Honestly, TLA said what I was going to. I feel like ya'll are trying to indirect Kenny and complain that he has Marty. Saying no other pic base works is unrealistic. Get rid of the fuckin' umbrella and boom suddenly another pic base fits. And idk why everyone is kissing the ass of this character either, it ain't some godly gimmick that's never been seen before. If you can't promo or have time for your main gimmick but have all the time for your other one and say you can "knock them out in your sleep", that just seems like bitching. Come up with a new character if you can't find the originality and creativity, stay in WMW only, or leave fr. Complaining about pic bases but trying to cover up the bitchiness with comments from your buddies agreeing don't make you slick. No character or gimmick is "too rare" for a new pic base. Get over yourselves.

On the subject of all this, I don't endorse Jakob's comments, does the Scrull picbase fit Paradise very well? Absolutely. But that doesn't mean I'm pushing Kenny to quit using the rep, hell I came up with Mortimer so I could originally see if I  could play a character aside from Paradise. All it is is the fact that trying to come up with stuff for Mortimer is difficult while worrying about IRL issue while Paradise in WMW is easy due to things flowing smoother. I will be back to EAW but not as Paradise because I'd rather explore options and try new things that's why he's WMW only. It has nothing to do with how "rare" I think the character is nor is it me stroking my own ego, I could easily bring Paradise into EAW but I'm not going to by choice so I can further develop my own skills nothing more nothing less.

Why don't you use Simon Gotch for your Paradise character? Really not a big change at all.
