PostSubject: Monday Night RAW Ratings woes   October 9th 2016, 2:29 pm

As we all know Monday Night RAW's ratings has been going down the drain in recent months and it's gotten to the point that one week that their ratings for one week was at a 1.5 (I could be wrong) but from what I have read it was pretty bad that their were rumors that USA Network is considering cancelling Monday Night RAW. Even though that rumor was wrong it still shows how badly Monday Night RAW is performing to a week to week basis. With stiff competition like Monday Night Football, The Presidential Debates etc My question for everyone is what adjustments would you make for RAW to get more people to tune in and stay tuned it to be invested to get an increase in ratings? To add onto this their was a report that Vince was extremely upset last week about RAW's ratings that not even the main event between Sasha Banks and Charlotte didn't save the show despite how good it was and now in the weeks ahead they will be making changes to the product to get more viewers.

Before I comment on RAW's ratings, I'd like to say that Sasha vs Charlotte on RAW wasn't all that.

As for RAW, there's not much you can do. The shows have generally been good lately, I think the problem is that they're not willing to spend money and you know how the saying goes: You have to spend money to make money. When's the last time there was a memorable segment on RAW or Smackdown? Gone are the days of exploding limousines and cement-filled cars. There's no excitement anymore. I think it's just a habit for most people at this point. Eventually habits die out.

Raw has been bad for so long, it created a downward trend that is so bad just being passable or even good isn't going to be good -- and the fact is, a majority of Raw is skippable. Even if it's not bad, there's too much competition for it to garner decent ratings (for its standard) again.

I feel that they need to stay the course. The last thing we want is WWE to panic and throw the title back on Roman or give it to some old part timer or Lesnar cause they create "momentary" ratings.

I think the landscape is better, give the Cruisers a full hour to themselves maybe? but outside of that just keep plugging away. Obviously this has been the worse its been but its both football season and there was a debate.

We won't know how well WWE is doing until this time next year, maybe even later than that. It takes a long time to rebuild your brand into something worth watching after years of having the same episodes week after week and a pretty abysmal 2015

One thing that would make RAW and WWE a better product is competition. The thing is, last time when WWE ratings were off the charts was the time when they had a major competition in WCW and later TNA. Now, it's just WWE and so WWE and it's board has a lack of eagerness and ambition when it comes to devoloping bold characters and storylines. This reflects in the ratings because quite frankly people are getting tired of seeing the same recycled crap over and over again.

Thank you for this Jakob DeLion
