I'm holding a contest and whoever wins gets to pick their own group name and what-not on the forums. If you dont know what that is, some people have Deadpool Corps or Guardians of the Networks or Hall of Fame under their name; you can create your very own with a name if you are able to win this contest. (GFX of it will be handled later).

The contest?

It's simple. It won't be the post thing anymore, that's too radical. I decided a new thing. 

All you have to do is think of a new e-fed zone idea (like some kind of specific segment that can be held weekly or some stories or just something new like dirtsheet - don't steal these ideas) and on top of that new idea, send me a template of it on the site (just how it would look) and whose ever I think is the best idea will win.

IT'S A NEW GROUP PEOPLE, YOU GET TO PICK YOUR PEOPLE AND EVERYTHING. COME ON.

I’d like to see a post of analyzing elitists that are not yet in the main event scene. I remember a post four years ago where the writer gave constructive criticism to many of the guys he have analyzed so far. You could be in EAW for four years and still be analyzed just because your status is now a high mid-carder. I’d recommend analyzing people from who could be the most impactful in terms of midcarders, newcomers to ones that are more of the wild card. You can point out the strengths and the weaknesses of every elitist if it means to lack of motivation, mechanics on the promo page, attitude problems, etc. I’d do one article dedicated to analyzing Showdown, same thing for Voltage in order to be more organized and what not. Not much of an e-story idea or anything like the dirt sheet, but it’s something I’ve been meaning want to see for a while.

Zach Genesis' Idea: "This week in EAW"
A panel-type show where a certain few from EAW have thoughts about what occurred in EAW within the past week among house show recaps, other significant events and what-not.

Articles on "travel buddies." 2-4 people get together and write about what their characters do inbetween matches/shows and talk in and out of kayfabe. Like me and dub talk about being best buds but then talk about how we have to imagine the other kicking a puppy to promo on them.

EAW Pokemon Fanfiction: I'll write a story (1000-2000 words) about one lucky e-fedder's journey to become a Pokemon Master!  Half-serious.

EAW Newsflash: A panel of EAW veterans use their history and expertise to analyze current events, vixens, elitists, and other prominent stories being discussed in modern EAW culture. Can be both in and out of character opinions. For example, at the end of the show we can recognize one elitist or vixen for the effort they gave in a given week, discuss how we feel about them as promoers, the feud they're in, etc. I propose that EAW "Newsflash" is scheduled once weekly. Think ESPN's "Around the Horn" but with EAW/e-feds.

I would say something like EAW Shoot - a brief paragraph or two weekly show where any Elitist or Vixen can come on and just shoot on anything that they see fit. Something like when a musician, lets say a rapper, appears on a television show and they start to say something provactive, and potentially creates a feud with someone else. A show like that would and could be entertaining. It cannot be like a clearly rehearsed promo though, it just has to be real or at least be somewhat real.

Or the EAW Behind the Match - where an Elitist/Vixen (people who have been here for more than a year) can proclaim their Top 10 matches of all-time. They can go ahead and describe how the promoing went, the attitude behind the promos, the emotion and intensity the person was having, and how they felt when they won/lost.

Hmmm...

I was thinking a few things...

Maybe a weekly (maybe 2 weeks every month, its up to them) script/something like that where a professional e-fedder that has been in EAW for many moons writes articles that can encourage new guys into feeling comfortable in EAW. We have been picking up a bit of steam in terms of activity and for someone to tell them tips on promoing, how certain people's behaviours could be taken with this approach etc. Or maybe the same case for aspiring or those who want to write. Not trying to call you out Genesis, so don't kill me but maybe those on the writing board can pick up hints from someone like Ken or Demon on how to make a credible script count in EAW especially when it comes to PFP, those tips would come to use.


An interactive feature for everyone to try out. Most of the eawrestling.com site consists on reading and I feel ways to expand on activity apart from commenting, maybe we could introduce some kind of fantasy league thing where we pick 3 or 4 e-fedders and if they win, we earn points, if they lose, we maybe lose a point or have nothing added or subtracted. The idea would be to hope that many are interested in this idea and participate so we can get competitive. Predicting stuff on the forums is all well and good but I think we can really intensify shit with competitive fantasy leagues.


Someone could write a Top 10 (Insert Name here, Tag Teams, Championships, Elitists, PFP moments) every week or two going in depth about why those moments stick out in terms of quality. 


Also, I feel we should expand on the dirt sheet section. I am not stealing but it has been something I have been begging for a while. If you look on the site right now, you'll see a PFP Axxess article. I wrote that and it was my ideal of a dirt sheet envisioning. 

That is all I have so far. If any more ideas crop up, I'll post them on here. But I think the stated above are good ideas I could imagine.

If you feel underrated, entitled, and angry then this is the perfect opportunity for you! Let your rage fly loose as you participate in weekly features such as: Burial of the Week, Rant of the Week, and Which Writer Deserves To Be Fired This Week!

Noob Introductions: Where new people can tell us about themselves and their background on a public stage. We can hear all about their past 5 feds, prison experiences, or military service in a carefully constructed tribute to the noobs, the forgotten peoples of the EAW world.

The Tyler Parker Arena of Asskissing: Make your desperation to achieve success in EAW known to the entire fed as you throw all your pride away. DDD and the rest of the EAW board will personally grade each attempt at kissing their asses and who knows maybe it will actually work! Whoever has the best asskiss will be crowned the EAW Asskissing Champion and must defend their title each and every week unless their asskissing is so good that the EAW Board gives them a week off for their amazing performance.

EAW Bookmaker

A system whereby all Elitists and Vixens can place bets on who they think will win certain matches on upcoming shows. There will be a maximum bet amount allowed to ensure nobody works their way up the rankings too quickly. Those in control of writing and/or deciding the winner will not be permitted to place bets for the matches they are in charge of. The premise is that people will gain/lose points depending on the outcomes of the matches they have betted on which will add/subtract from their total. Betting on a low card match with new wrestlers where one may no-show will hold less weight than betting on a competitive main event.

The second way to gain points would be by winning matches. Each time you win a match you gain 'x' amount of points depending on the stipulation (a table which can easily be made). When you lose you lose points. If you win a championship or at a PPV you also get more points.

 As an incentive people will be able to purchase goods with their points such as but not limited to: a non-championship match with any Elitist/Vixen, a self-written segment for a show (approved by the writer), a permit to change match type, etc.

Of course there would be a lot of intricacies that would need to be discussed, but I think it would make everything a lot more competitive and exciting.

Somewhat similar to Liam's idea, I'd do something dirtsheet-ish. If you look back at some of the stories for e-fed zone, you'll see rumors and leaks posted by various posters. I think that should be a continuous thing (not the leaks so much but the rumors for sure). We could have a "weekly dirtsheet round-up" if you will, where someone would post an article talking about all the latest rumors on the various Elitists, Vixens and staff members. These rumors could be serious, light-hearted or just ribbing. I feel like this would be something that people would want to read and comment on (since that's apparently a big deal) and it would give everyone something entertaining to read. It's easy, quick and it'd be entertaining (I'd also be willing to write it if that gives the idea any pull  ).

Honestly though, aside from the articles of the scouting reports I want to see? What would be REALLY cool would be EAW doing a First Take. Hire two people to be co-stars to talk about anything when it comes to sports, politics, basically the issues of the day while having a special guest for every edition. It would be like Elite Center, but the EAW’s Universe would be free to recommend some suggestions to talk about any topic. Of course we can talk about EAW too. Basically a First Take would be pretty cool in EAW.
