| Olback is the worst keeper to have in a shootout, lad is horrendous for penalties. |

| MOTM = Casemiro, although people can make a case about Bale due to fantastic job of running into/exploiting space that Atleti left. Casemiro was the man of the match because he wouldn't allow an Atleti's counter-attack to go through and he made the midfield very balanced. Cristiano had a poor game offensively, but what about his game defensively? Yeah, I don't consider Cristiano a defender, but considering RM's game plan was to cede possession to Atleti in order to make it uncomfortable for AM. Everyone had to be on board with this plan as a unit and I credit Cristiano for tracking back and not making it a shootout considering he wasn't fit, along with Benzema. Overall, I try to be objective as possible but the better side won out of this game. People will say that does the best side won the UCL campaign? That is highly subjective, but at the end of the day, Real won La Undecima at the expenses of the masters of dark arts football and for that, I can say fuck you r/soccer at Reddit for having a boner for praising Atleti and the Ronaldo celebration at the end was a big fuck you to his haters too for calling him "Penaldo". Being Penaldo led to this: |

After the first 30 min, it was all Atleti. And for the better part, Atleti dominated ET too. No doubt Real Madrid won in penalties, anything can happen there but do not make such crazy statements. Also, Bale was the man of the match (would've been Juanfran or Carrasco if AM won) Bale is so underrated lmao, it's crazy. Dude was a workhorse yesterday on the pitch. And of course arrogant Ronaldo wanted to 5th as opposed to 1st on the penalty taking duties to take all the glory. With that all said, congrats to RM and better luck AM next year. It's been a good year of football. |

It's been a good year of football. "This is not true" They only had 4 shots on goal and didn't really test Navas from any of them, even with the possession they had. Real had a few great chances that Oblak saved them from going down 2-0 and a goal line clearance from a defender. Simeone also blew it with making sketchy judgment with subs, especially when Zidane had to use all of his subs pretty early. So c'mon Dub, you know that I am as subjective as they come but don't act like Navas wasn't tested for the majority of the game if it was "All-Atleti" |

| Atletico were poor in the first half and got played off the pitch. They improved in the second half but I'm not sure why exactly they 'deserved' to win, while they improved they weren't exactly great either |

| My ideal offseason
Transfers in: Gaya, Embolo, Pogba, maybe a young CB to replace Pepe. Still need some physicality along with another CM if we are gunning for the treble next year
Transfers out: Pepe (Maybe), Coentrao, James and of course, the one and only: Arbeloa
Loan: Jese |

| De Gea's been sent home from the Spanish squad and won't be playing in the Euros, he's being investigated along with Isco, Munain and somebody else for paying hookers for the other two and being involved in sexual assault. Oh God if he's found guilty he's finished, fack.
Also means Iker Flaps will be starting the Euros, poor Spain. |

| France vs Romania was a good opening match, Giroud was shocking despite him scoring (Keeper was awful for that) |
