| The way united have handled this LVG out and Mourinho in is a shambles. Everyone knew it was coming but they could have handled this much better.
Not sure about Mourinho at United. I am sure he will be a success but he doesn't like Mata and doesn't have a good record of building up youth talent. Might turn United more into a club like Chelsea or City which the fans will not like |

| Fat Spanish Waiter just signed a new deal with... Newcastle. That's right, he got all emotional about the fan support and now he's a toon through-and-through and he is staying to drag them back into the epl.
But wait, there's more!
Fat Spanish Waiter wants to be a real manager, not just a head coach. So the new contract contains conditions giving him Complete Transfer Control. No Newcastle player will be sold or bought except with his say so. And the board are (apparently) contractually obliged to open their pockets to allow him to rebuild the squad.
But wait, there's more!
He's also been given the power to clear out not only players, but backroom staff. And he's bringing in his own people. So basically at this point, if reports are correct, Benitez has dictator like power over Newcastle Utd for the next 3 years.
Hail, Fat Spanish Caesar! |

| Three year contract (Thank God) with an option to extend for another year, smart move by the club, will be easy to get rid of if shit hits the fan in the third season (and history suggests it will) Not a fan of the guy personally but he's the best guy available, he guarantees trophies and he isn't Ryan Giggs, so all good. Happy fuckin days. |

| More than likely but he's hardly been great for us anyway and he hasn't been the Mata that we signed from Chelsea, granted he's had two horrible managers using him wrong at us and I think he'd actually work well in a Mourinho system, but oh well.
I'm interested in how the rest of the team works, I get the feeling Depay will play better if he's allowed space to run into/dribble with the ball and actually shoot, same with Herrera. |
