I'm glad that you're willing to throw away form of credibility that you've garnered over the last months by admitting that a man that has been forced to swallow nothing but the foul taste of failure is on the same level as the EAW Champion. Well fucking done, Aren, and you're STILL probably sitting there wondering why the greatest EAW Champion of the modern era doesn't believe you deserve the right to call yourself a champion. But, Aren, you're a fighting champion! You've only defended the championship against subpar fucking talent, but that makes you a great champion! Definitely someone that's on his way to becoming one of the greats. I was waiting for it; I was hoping that you would be smarter than what I expected, but I knew that I was only kidding myself. You're right, Aren. Like I've openly talked about publicly, I lost to Mr. DEDEDE at Pain for Pride. I put everything on the line in the biggest match at the biggest show of the year, something greater than all three World Championships, and I fell an inch short. I lost one match in five fucking months, but hey - I've done nothing but kneel, right? I spent the majority of this year leading Showdown from the front, doing what the EAW Champion should have been doing, but in your words, I've done nothing but kneel. You're trying to clutch at straws, Aren, and you're doing but grabbing all of the short ones. Now, allow me to delve into your short time on Showdown “champ”. You made your grand debut at Road to Redemption and, I'll admit it, made an impact great enough to make the entire world believe that we could be seeing something special.
We finally thought that you were going to break free from the shadow that Lannister plagued over your career, but just as quickly as you found yourself standing on your own two feet, you began to stumble. King of Elite; the moment where you were meant to finally take the step from calling yourself a “Prince”, and sit on that throne as a King, but we remember how that ended, don't we, Aren? You allowed someone that wasn't in the fucking match to begin with to take the crown! YOU COULDN’T BEAT A MAN THAT WAS ELIMINATED IN THE SECOND ROUND OF THE VOLTAGE BRACKET, AFTER HE HAD ALREADY COMPETED IN A MATCH EARLIER IN THE NIGHT! BUT YOU’RE THE MAN THAT’S MEANT TO LEAD THIS BRAND - STAND AT THE FOREFRONT OF THIS COMPANY AS ITS CHAMPION?! But, I'm not finished, Aren. Your entire career has been built around nothing more than false promise and shortcomings. You went to war with Jamie O’Hara for months; alongside Dark Demon and Lannister, you cost the man that championship resting upon your shoulder. It took three people to rip that championship out of Jamie's grasp, and when he came for revenge, the now self-proclaimed “King of Voltage” needed to weasel his way through the entire thing. You had the EAW Championship laying there at Reasonable Doubt; it was yours for the taking, and you fumbled it completely. Vic’s reign falls onto your shoulders; the prestige that the championship lost at his hand falls onto your shoulders. But while Vic tarnished the championship that I rebuilt, you kept your attention on my partner. It was a war that almost everyone looked forward to. I knew the things that Jamie was capable of; I saw the potential that the rest of the world did, but when it came time for you to prove your claim to this overall crown, like I said, you weaselled your way through it. You couldn’t stand toe to toe with a man that was on the biggest form slump of his career; you NEEDED a fucking lead pipe to ensure that you’d actually walk out of Reckless Wiring, and you almost fucked that up too. But you - Vic Vendetta, a man that couldn’t tie my fucking bootlaces on his best day, and Carlos Rosso, a man that couldn’t capture a real World Championship if his life fucking depended on it, deserved to be near the EAW Championship? The three of you deserved to close out the second day of Pain for Pride?

It still makes me sick, Aren; knowing how far that EAW Championship has fallen since sitting on either mine or Jamie’s shoulder. Whether you agreed with the measures that I took to keep the EAW Championship, I always put what was best for the title before myself. The world professed that I stole the EAW Championship from Diamond Cage at Reckless Wiring over a year ago, but I have the company the greatest EAW Champion that it’s ever had. I built that championship up onto a pedestal that I thought was absolutely undestroyable. Great fucking work with that one guys. I gave anyone that thought they could take it from me a chance to be champion. I knocked out Charlie Scene when I could barely stand. I slayed the monster that wanted to rip my head off my shoulders, in the form of Hades the Hellraiser. I conquered the man that believed wholeheartedly that he created everything that I held in the palm of my hand. I outsmarted the man that I now call my partner at Territorial Invasion. You’re the man that is meant to lead this brand from the front, but you’re fucking levels behind the people at the front. Jamie and I stand at the forefront of this brand and it’s really unfortunate to say that those behind us aren’t even close. It’s proves the one thing that I’ve always known about the two of us, Aren. Something I proved when you were given a chance to compete for my New Breed Championship; something I proved mere weeks before you won the EAW Championship from that scrub of a champion, and it’s something that I promise that I’m going to prove on Voltage.
I was better than you when I took my first steps into this business as a whole. I’m better than you are now, and I’ll always be better than you in the future.
And Nas, as for you, I’ll refer you to the last time I spoke. I’d rather not waste my time repeating everything that I’ve already said about you. My time is far too important to waste on some worthless scrub.
