Visuals do look good, but as someone who's read the book I really don't think it'll measure up.

I feel it. Since a lot of the amazing pop culture references used for puzzles in the book had to be changed due to licensing issues.
I feel as though the trailer is trying to be misleading. The book is Science Fiction Treasure Hunt rather than a straight action movie, and most of my enjoyment from the book came as to how they solved these riddles.

They did? I didn't know that that's a huge bummer. Hopefully there will still be plenty of 80s goodness.
The plot will probably be explained more in a longer trailer later.
