Gimmick (20 words or more): Jack Ripley and his partner David Davidson have been friends since childhood. When they were kids they would bet candy and lunch money on pokemon games, and other trivial little bets on such things as who can do more push ups. But as they grew older the stakes got higher; the lure of gambling took a hold of them, and brought them to some of the most seedy areas one could encounter. While there, they swindled everyone, and made out like bandits. Not only did they pick up a lot of money, street smarts, and confidence; they also picked up some fighting techniques. Having bad bets now and again they've always had to fight out of bad situations. The gambling world has toughened them up quite a bit, and now they're bringing what they've picked up to the ring, where the stakes have never been higher.

Showdown is every Saturday, meaning you can promo up until Friday at 11:59PM Eastern Time each week. The new cards are usually posted the day after, in this case, Sunday - but do not be alarmed if the new one is posted the same night of (Saturday).
