A lot of inspiration comes from the fact that whenever I try a face character I'm always more comfortable doing an over the top funny character rather than someone serious, I also have a weakness for goofy old timey gimmicks. Though wrestler inspirations are mainly Marion Fontaine (Who I use as Mortimer's rep) Jervis Cottonbelly, The Vaudevillains, and most recently Mustache Mountain. Besides who doesn't love a good old rabble rousing chap ready to show all manner of ruffians what for? |
