An Introduction to the New NEO Wrestling

This has been something I've been thinking about doing for quite some time. EAW has plenty of things to offer, but I felt there's still more than can be done. There's so many cool concepts to try out, be it special Events or types of Tournaments, but just no time for them to be done with the current main roster schedule and everything, so I figured I could just make a whole new micro-Fed-esque place to try these out, under the NEO name obviously.

Firstly, this won't be like our previous micro-Fed, War Made Wrestling, nor will it be like NEO's previous incarnation. This will be something a little different. As I mentioned earlier, this is a place to try new Events and new Tournaments that couldn't otherwise be done in EAW, starting with the return of the Triad Games. What kind of Events will be coming? What Tournaments will be on the way? Who knows. Anything is possible. There's plenty of concepts to utilize from the likes of companies such as Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, CHIKARA, Ring of Honor, and New Japan Pro Wrestling, but there's also room for us to create our own new ideas that we've never seen done before.

As for the time being, the shows and Tournaments will be written by me, so how often these Events and Tournaments will occur will not be exactly on an every-month basis. It may just be every other month, but they will happen, and I will do my best to make certain of that, because this is something I think could be a lot of fun and give you guys a lot of room to experiment with new characters and experience something you can't get under the normal EAW way of dong things.

There will be three key things to stress about NEO:

1. These Events and Tournaments will not apply to EAW kayfabe. The Tournaments will be considered EAW Accolades, but that's about it.

2. The promo limit will be the same for every Event and Tournament: One. The only thing required of anyone who signs up to participate is just one promo per match. If you take part in a Tournament, you will be required to post one promo for each match should you have more than one match. There will be much more emphasis on quality over quantity, so it goes without saying that you should put a lot of effort into the one promo you post.

3. There will be NO permanent Picture Base list. It will restart for every new Event and Tournament, and picture bases will be taken on a first come, first serve basis. Some liberties will be taken for certain things like the Triad Games, in which you will be allowed to sign up with a picture base that will be essentially considered reserved for a limited amount of time while you find partners if you do not currently have any.

And I think that's about all there is to it. I look forward to doing some interesting things with this, and hopefully you'll come along for the ride. Be sure to have fun, experiment with different characters all you want, and enjoy the shows.

You can use your EAW character or a new character, doesn't matter. Pic bases here will be first come, first serve, so regardless of whatever character you use, getting the pic base you want is just a matter of signing up first. And even if you don't get the pic base you wanted before someone else took it, you can always just try to get it at the next Event/Tournament.
