I remember everything else in my life that upsets me and dwell on it for sometimes days at a time. I get myself in a slump that I think I'll never pull out of and question the purpose of everything on the planet from "why is money so important" to "what the fuck am I even alive for?" Eventually it passes once something else happens that I find enjoyable.

I usually vent to a friend, listen to music, think it over way too much, an then try to do something constructive or creative. I don't like to dwell on things for very long, so if I can't find a solution to the problem, I either find a way to just get out of it or accept it.

If I'm depressed or frustrated, I write sometimes. I usually put on Diamond Sea by Sonic Youth and get even more depressed. Sometimes I draw, sometimes I walk up and down the street talking to myself like a crazy person or walk and listen t music. Walking's big with me when I'm in a bad mood of any kind.

If I'm angry, I hit stuff and walk.

I dye my hair black, I wear black clothes, I listen to angsty screamo music, I make videos of me singing awful songs on YouTube with my angsty friends, then I bitch about everything.

I listen to anything that reflects what I'm feeling at that moment. So if I'm upset, for whatever the reason may be, I'll listen to songs that I relate to and because I relate to it I know that it's not just me who's alone as whoever wrote it knows exactly what I'm going through. Sometimes I'll just listen to songs that I know will make me feel better. Also I tend to jot down my thoughts and feelings into something more. I found that it's easier to write when you're upset. If not just this, I talk to anyone who's close to me that I know I could vent to and have a conversation stem from it. So yeah, that's what I do.

I used to go skate and kinda beat myself up by slamming really hard. Helped get some of the adrenaline and anger out. I'd come home fairly calm after that. There's something about being in a bad mood that just makes you wanna skate as hard and fast as you can.

Now that my knees and back are fucked, I play guitar and try to write funny songs.
