| FACT: In 2015, Daniel Bryan is more beloved than The Rock. Think I'm wrong? Young or old, if Rock goes into the Rumble as a surprise entrant, and beats out Bryan in the final two - he WILL be boo'd. Batista treatment. I guarantee it. I await the responses. ... |

| At this point in time, I would say The Rock will get boo'd if he beats out Bryan because of several reasons which is plainly obvious. But for example this whole emotional roller coaster we have been on for 8 months with Bryan and having him just back on RAW last week he is the most beloved superstar right now. I think the majority would think that Daniel Bryan deserves to win the Royal Rumble so if ANYONE would have won the Rumble that isn't Daniel Bryan will get boo'd.
BUT if you look at it from a generational point of view overall, I would say The Rock is more beloved than Daniel Bryan in my opinion. But in this day in age where Daniel is hitting his stride with the fans he is on par with The Rock I should say on who the fans truly adore.
But if you want my opinion on who I think should win the Royal Rumble should be Dolph Ziggler with the amount of hard work and effort he put in. I generally dislike the fact that people who was gone and comes back around in time for the Royal Rumble and winning pretty to me is like the spit in the face for the people who has been there while that certain superstar was out. But I wouldn't mind if Daniel Bryan wins. The match that I want to see happen is Daniel Bryan vs Seth Rollins in an Iron Man Match at Mania. Lesnar vs Bryan isn't bad either as long as Seth Rollins cashes in on whomever the winner is. Point is as long as Seth Rollins comes out as Champion I for one will be satisfy. But I would be pissed if Rollins cashes in on Cena or Lesnar at the Royal Rumble and just drops it to whomever wins the Royal Rumble. That would be a complete waste of time for me and Seth Rollins build as the top heel dammit. |

| This is Daniel Bryans time, point blank. While I honestly think they're equally over with the WWE Universe, no one has any more claim to the top spot than Bryan. |

| Let's not get carried away. The Rock isn't in a situation like Roman Reigns would be if he won the rumble. The Rock will get booed at the rumble due to that whole ECW/ROH crowd they will be in, in Philly or whatever, but booed arena after arena like Batista? Nah. Let's not forget the Rock has a fanbase Batista never had. Rock would get cheered 80 percent of the time in arenas after the rumble. |

| I think Rock/Brock would be better than Reigns/Brock. So whoever tosses Reigns over the top rope I'll be happy with them facing Lesnar (if he's still champ). |

| Another Fact Check
FACT: WWE doesn't like Bryan. FACT: WWE will not be pushed around by us, again. FACT: WWE likes Roman Reigns.
The Rock in this conversation is pretty irrelevant, Brock/Rock isn't happening, so there's no need to compare the popularity between Bryan and Rock, there's no use for it. I highly doubt Rock will have any involvement in WrestleMania this year.
My heart wants Bryan to win, but my brain knows he won't. As I said in a previous post on a different topic, only way it happens is if Lesnar isn't the champion. Whoever beats Lesnar for the title will be the face of the company, that's how they're setting everything up. (Unless we get a terrible swerve and Cena wins) Brock beat the two biggest presences in the company for the past decade by ending the streak at Mania, and decimating Cena at SummerSlam, and in WWE's mind, the next logical step is not for him to lose the title to Daniel Bryan, even I think that's a bad idea.
If Brock retains at the Rumble, we're getting Brock/Roman. Stop complaining and accept it.

| I'd agree that among the current wrestling fanbase Bryan is more loved than The Rock. But among the general population The Rock would take the prize. If there was a match between the two I imagine Bryan would get cheered more, but if both appeared at something more mainstream like say the Super Bowl, I imagine Rock would be more beloved. Sadly for WWE mainstream appeal is more important than the guys their actual fanbase cares about. |

| At this time, or new age in the WWE, Bryan is far more loved than The Rock. Of course, The Rock has been billed to be one of the greatest entertainers in the WWE, but that was in the past, when he was actively performing in the ring. Almost since a decade ago when he left the company to pursue an acting career, there was a vacancy as to who the WWE Universe could look upon to. Then Daniel Bryan arrived in 2010. He may not have had the look factor and promoing skills at the time, but he grew and evolved over the years into one of the best technician wrestlers in the modern-day WWE. The Universe loves him for stuff that was humorously entertaining, such as his shtick with Kane, who then became tag-team Champions. Then the No! and the Yes! chants surely became the highlighting point about Bryan. He wrestles day in and day out, entertaining the fans, while The Rock, even though he makes some rare appearances in the WWE, might even get a huge pop, but it is only because of the fact that something exciting and funny would transpire later on (such as his segment with Rusev and Lana some time ago). Bryan is indeed, as of right now, a bit morel loved than Rocky. |
