I wouldn't say nervous, but I absolutely know I have to put on my A-game with guys like Jay and Impact in the sense that I treat it as a special occasion to promo against them. A few other shouts to Demon, Tyler and Banks too. And definitely for guys ive faced at PFP, I always treat it special too with Robbie, LC, etc. I see it kinda like a ''task'' or ''challenge'', and that shits always fun.

Im nervous about my first promo lol. Can only imagine once I start taking on vets

I honestly get anxious promoing against anyone, but I kind of use it as my motivation too. I can never shake the feeling of nerves that comes with waiting and then seeing an opponent has promoed and thinking what they could have possibly said, but it makes me want to reply that much more and try that much harder every time they respond.

Basically this. I always anticipate my matches, but unfortunately, my opponents don't promo.

Three guys, and only three guys.

1. Jaywalker - Jay has always been my greatest challenge in any efederation we have faced in.

2. Robbie - My oldwst rival, i always get nervous facing him because hes only gotten better, while ive kinda floundered in comparrison. I always try and atleast prove to myself that "I can hang" still

3. DEDEDE - my best friend and a person i still look up to in EAW. Facing him is the biggest rarity in my career, because when i first started i wanted to be that guy, i wanted to be in his spot. Ill never be there, and thats ok. Cause for that one month we fueded for MSM i felt that one time, i reached the peak. I made it to the level of people in the "GOAT Circle". If only for a promo or two, ill take it facing my idol in efeds, being on that level.

The best promoers usually get me excited not nervous. Even when I know promoing against someone like Norman will be tough I'm usually anxious to read his promos. Guys like Jay, RRS and others who are great I see as guys I can go back and forth when even when they're spitting out great promos and that's fun for me.

DDD, Tyler and RRS. Those 3 were highly respected whenever I face them and whenever I found out that I will face either of the three via card being posted....I thought it was going to be a long week for me. Turns out whenever I went against DDD, Tyler in EAW, whenever I get my first promo in, I didn't face too much anxiety. Same case with RRS in AWF too.

I get nervous because I haven't done it in awhile and I look at some of these other one like shxt...STEP YOUR GAME UP! I say to myself.

IDK if nervous is the best word, but I always know I'm in for a scuffle when DDD, RoV or Imp are on the otherside of me on a card. Also when I face a person for the first time who I might think normally doesn't read my promos might make nervous, I don't want one of my non better promos to be the first and only promo they ever read just because I'm facing them. Especially since it's a much larger new generation wave going on atm.



Edit: I forgot about that nigga Jacob Senn, whenever I face him I know he'll be promoing 34232234 times and not give much room after I post a promo because he seems to either be very hyper or have no chill.

I get nervous against any opponent to be honest, some more than others. However when I'm facing established extremists or legends, I feel much more anxious especially if I've never faced them before. I kind of like think they've never read my other promos and this is my first time so I use that to motivate myself to make it a really decent promo. If I were just throwing names out there, Ken Imp Jay are definitely up there and I hope I'll be participating in a promo war against DDD soon enough.

I don't get nervous. Rather, I'd say I pressure myself to be more inventive and outside the box when tasked with a worthy opponent. I didn't really promo all that often in my final tenure, but that in no way attests to my general e-fed career path. I'll be the first to admit it's more lax when you're facing guys who you know are not on or near your level, but it's also less of a thrill because you have nothing to prove. For me, when I had something to prove against Jay, Mr. DEDEDE, HBB, and a handful of other e-fedders of that ilk, I knew I could be at nothing less than my innovative best. You don't want anybody to get an edge on you, especially people who hover around in the same area of success you occupy. I would say how you do, and what you say, against the top guys in the e-fed is the purest indication of how skilled you are.

(Only because I don't promo though)

I'm always nervous, because there's that "What if?" factor. I just get motivated, do the best I can, and hope for the best.

Not really.

I often get nervous but the majority of the time it is just me worrying about what I could have done to make the promo/RP better.

I also, most of the time, refuse to post my RPs very early for the last time me and my tag partner (in another place) did that the opposing team won even though one of them literally wrote a word-by-word reply to what my partner wrote. >_>

I'll get nervous if I run out of things to say in the middle of promoing

No I don't get nervous. I focus on my own goals and don't worry about what anyone else is doing. I don't find it intimidating to promo against someone who has the reputation of being one of the best promoers, Hall of Famers, champions, etc. It's the same game for everyone no matter if it's your first day or your fifth year.

It matters who I'm facing in order for me to get nervous. Like when I went against Xav a couple of weeks ago. I was extremely nervous because we're friends and I felt like with that being a factor, I was going to mess up in my promos. In the end, I lost. Shit happens, I'll beat him next time.
