| Mayweather, because he is the ultimate heel. He pisses people off hanging out with Suge Knight and Justin Bieber, beats women, is rich and flaunts it, his heelness is so amusing I'm drawn to him pissing people off. Plus, I in bias love streaks. |

| If this is about who I want to win the fight: Neutral.
Who I think is the better person: Pacquiao. He's devoted to his people, his fans, and his craft. The dude spends so much of his time doing so many things. Basketball player, politician, singer, part time actor, dude wears so many hats I can't imagine how he does it all.
Who WILL win the fight? I think Mayweather. Not because I think the PacMan is inferior, but I think Manny's strengths play into Mayweather's hands. Mayweather has the reach advantage and is willing to wait for slip ups from more aggressive fighters to counter. Pac has been KOed several times in his career and much of that is due to leaving himself open. If Pacquiao is going to win, he'll have to be patient and land a few power shots when Mayweather's moving predictably. If anyone is going to finish the fight, I think Manny's the more likely to do it. In the end though, I think Mayweather's defensive savvy carries him to 48-0 and one win shy of tying Rocky Marciano. |

| Come on, Pac Man. Everyone is talking about this fight being all about Mayweather's legacy... only half true. Pacquiao needs this fight for his legacy. Something tells me he's more motivated to prove his doubters wrong, while Mayweather has much more to lose. Pac will fight "loose" - Mayweather will do a lot of defending. Microcosm of both their styles and current positioning - and when it comes down to a decision, people will remember the fighter and not the defender. |

Will the judges, though? They certainly didn't in that first Mayweather vs. Maidana fight. |

| This thread is absolutely pathetic. You people sound absolutely pathetic. "Pacquiao's a great guy, Floyd's an asshole, waaaah". Sensationalist garbage. Cultivated preference towards Pacquiao that has nothing to do with fighting ability. I'm not saying Pacquiao can't or won't get the job done tonight because he's right up there with Floyd, but come on. I think I'm going to vomit from this shit.
When I see competitors I ignore everything outside of the ring, field, court, etc. Everything else is irrelevant. I root for the best almost all the time. The best right now is Floyd. If Pac wins tonight I'll say he's the better man. But to think otherwise is just pure bias, especially given the fact that Boxing is an individual sport and especially given their records. And contrary to popular belief, in the world of sports I don't have to respect a biased opinion. |

That's not necessarily true. Mayweather has destroyed adventurous fighters in the past like Hatton, Cotto, etc. He's probably the best counter puncher in the history of modern boxing. Pacman would be better off being patient instead of just attacking at will. Mayweather has shown over and over again he can make people pay and do just enough to steal rounds. |

I wasn't suggesting he only has "defending" in his arsenal. Sheesh. He's undefeated for a reason. He's not a one-dimensional fighter. Elite in a 1,000 aspects. But when it comes to story telling of a match - and considering the strengths and weaknesses of both. Manny is a guy who likes to pick his spots and go on the attack like no other. Which might put Mayweather in the defending situation - which honestly plays into Floyd's strengths. Didn't think I had to go into detail, but very well. |
