CHAPTER #38 - BATTLEGROUND #1
Topics tagged under 38 on Elite Answers Wrestling YQgFcCZ

So not only do I need to deal with some guy named Piff on Showdown, but I just heard that I'll be stepping into the ring on Battleground later in the week. You know I can't help, but feel good about the fact that both of those matches are actually wrestling matches. I feel good knowing that I won't be stepping into another death match because the fact of the matter is I've been through them. I've taken everything this company has thrown me and I'm still standing. Now I realize over the last couple of months may name has dropped a few spots on the roster, but lets face it none of it had anything to do with my wrestling skills. The fact is I have been screwed around with ever since I lost to Cameron and the only real reason I can think of for it is because I didn't defeat her. Frankly the fight she gave me was more a fight then any other superstar on the roster has given me so I'll give her all the credit in the world. All I know is that I will get another shot at that Championship and when I do I promise you I won't pass it up. I look at my match on Battleground and I see three other guys who in my eyes shouldn't really be in the same ring as me. That's besides the point because the fact of the matter is on Battleground Vic Maero, Daniel Marshall and Chris Elite well lets just say all three of those guys won't be ready. I can promise you right now when that bell rings I will be proving to the world that I am in fact the best WRESTLER around. It's time for me to start doing what I know I do better then anybody else in the world and what a great way to start then winning two matches in a week. What better way to show exactly who you are then by leaving Battleground while my opponents will still be wondering what hit them. I sit back and I think about everything that I've gone through since signing my EAW contract and I can't help, but laugh. Because if it was any other company you can bet your ass I would have told them to shove there contract up there ass a long time ago. I came to EAW for a reason and it wasn't to be tossed in death matches and handicap matches each week. I signed my contract for the exact same reasons Chris Elite signed his and Marshall I'm sure he signed his contract for the same reasons I did. This is the best wrestling company in the world today and I'll be the first one to admit that, but that doesn't mean any of them are better then I am. Don't get me wrong I know there are a couple of guys in the back who would be able to toss together a five star match with me, but in the end my hand would be raised. Just like it's going to be raised on Showdown and just like it's going to be raised on Battleground. As much as people would love to think that one of the other three guys are going to defeat me on Battleground, it's not gonna happen. I've done every single thing this company has asked me to do and now it's my time to make an impact. Now it's my time to get some of the spotlight and it all starts this week. It all starts when I step into the ring with Piff on Showdown because I'm walking into my match on Showdown with one job and that is to not only defeat Piff, but embarrass him. I can promise you the job will get done and on Battleground my job is to have my hand raised at the end of the match AND YOU CAN BET YOUR ASS IT WILL.

Daniel Marshall, you and I have never faced each other as of yet and in fact I don't even think we've ever even seen each other in the back. Really that doesn't make any difference because when that bell rings you'll be just like Chris Elite and Vic and that's going to be a loser. The fact is you could be a loser right now, but I really don't know about it because like I said I know absolutely nothing about you. I don't know if you're a new guy to the roster or if you're a guy who's been around and knows his way around the ring. Again that doesn't really make any difference because I know what my job is on Battleground and whether you like it or not Danny boy my job will get done. We may have never seen each other before, but on Battleground you're going to look into the face of the best wrestler in the world today. You're going to look into my face and it's going to sit in your mind until the day you die. You're going to be able to tell your grandchildren stories about how you had a match against the best wrestler in the world. Of course you're going to lose on Battleground, but that doesn't change the fact that you're going to be inside the same ring as me. It doesn't change the fact that I am without a shadow of a doubt the best thing EAW has ever had on there roster. Then again you could be one of those guys who likes to changes stories around a little to make yourself feel better. You may go and tell your friends and grandchildren that you actually defeated the best wrestler in the world, but we all know that's not going to happen. I think even you know that's not gonna happen Daniel and you know there's not a FUCKING THING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT. All you can do is sit back and wait for Battleground because I promise you it's going to be a night you're going to remember forever. Much like Chris Elite and Victor you're probably sitting back right now laughing because you think I'm blowing smoke. Almost as if I'm like everybody else in the back who likes to talk themselves up. Well Danny you should probably give your head a little shake because I'm not that guy. In fact I'm the total apostate because I only talk about how good I really am. I've told the wrestling world from day one that I'm the best wrestler in the world today. I said I would take whatever this company would give me and I did exactly that and now I'm here. Now I'm just about to step into the ring on Showdown and it feels different then it has over the last two months. I actually feel like I'm walking into a match where I won't be screwed over. Almost like all the games are over and management is actually allowing me to prove exactly who I am. As for you Danny I truly hope you know what you're stepping into on Battleground because I really don't think you do. I think you're going to walk into the ring with your mind on nothing, but that money and that Daniel is going to be you're BIGGEST FUCKING MISTAKE. It's going to be a mistake that you're not going to be able to recover from because I'm going to take that mistake and use it to my advantage. Just like I'm going to do with Vic and Chris Elite who will be walking into the ring thinking the same thing you will. ALL ABOUT THE FUCKING MONEY, but what you three don't realize is that money isn't everything. In my eyes having my hand raised at the end of the match is everything and on Battleground Daniel that's exactly what's going to happen. Every mistake leads to an opportunity and on Battleground that opportunity will be mine.

Victor Maero now I may not know a lot about you, but I know you and Chris Elite have had your run ins. You two have an issue that hasn't be solved and on Battleground it's going to continue. When that bell rings you two are going to fight and you're not going to stop until you both realize I've already won the match. The fact of the matter is that not of you actually know who I am. I mean you can sit back and talk about what you've seen me go through, but does that really tell you who I am? Does seeing me have my ass beatin down in a death match really show you how good I am as a wrestler? Of course not because for the last two months I've been pushed down the ladder and forced to compete in matches Chris Elite hasn't had to compete in. I've had to compete in matches that you Vic, you haven't had to compete in and I've survived them all. I've been left for dead and that's something I'm always going to remember. The feeling of the blood running down my face while I was forced to watch my best friends be massacred. I literally watched both of them be brutally beatin down almost as bad as I was. Have you had to go through that Vic? Have you had to deal with any of the bullshit I've had to deal with? On Battleground I'm proving a point and that is that I don't belong in death matches. Unless of course it's for an EAW Championship because that's a totally different story. Vic what I'm really trying to say is that you don't have a chance on Battleground and there's nothing you can do about it. Your problems with Chris Elite are going to get in the way of you not only winning a match, but becoming a rich man. You see unlike you Vic I don't need anymore money so that's not my goal on Battleground. My goal has absolutely nothing to do with money, but more of me having my hand raised when it's all said and done. I am the best wrestler in the world today and on Battleground Victor I'm going to prove it once again. So when you really look at the big picture your goal in our match should be getting revenge on Chris and not winning the match. The outcome is already made and your winner is the man you hear talking right now because you can't stop greatness. You can't stop what's already done and when my name was added to that fatal four way match, well lets just say the outcome was already made. Our match is basically going to be a match of Vic and Chris beating the hell out of each other leaving me to take care of Daniel and that won't be a problem. It's my time to shine Vic and you should just be happy about the fact that you're stepping into the same ring with BRAYDEN FUCKING CRUISE.

On to Chris Elite who I believe would be my biggest challenge on Battleground if it wasn't for the fact that Victor is also involved in the match. The fact is Chris is a guy I hear about a lot, but never had the chance to be in a match with. Honestly I've heard so much about how good Chris Elite is and I have still yet to sit down and watch a match. Because as much as people wanna talk about how good he is I know in the back of my mind that I'm better. People wanna talk about how Chris is going to walk into the ring on Battleground and walk back out the winner without even much of a challenge. Well those people are going to be in for a pretty big shock when that bell rings. They're all going to be shitting there pants when they see my hand raised at the end of the match as the victor. Whether anybody likes it or not it's time for me to shine and Chris is going to find that out on Battleground. A lot like Chris I'm a guy who was talked about a lot, but the last two months have been different for Chris. I haven't seen him in any death matches or watch him get left for dead and it really makes me wonder why. It really makes me question whether or not EAW management truly knows what they have. On Battleground It's going to be my job to let them be reminded of who I am and what I'm capable of doing. The times are changing and the clock is ticking on all three of you. I'm more ready for this week then I've ever been in my whole life. Chris, as much as you wanna believe you're a better wrestler then I am you're only kidding yourself. The truth is you may be the only one who actually belongs in the ring with me on Battleground, but really does that make any difference? It really doesn't matter whether I think you're on my level or not because when it's all said and done on Battleground much like Victor and Daniel you're going to be a loser. I'm ready to take my career and do something that should have been done months ago. I'm taking my career here in EAW and I'm going to make it the greatest career of all time. It all starts this week and there's NOT A FUCKING THING any of my opponents can do about it.

What will the next two months bring for me here in EAW? Well obviously that's not something I can really answer, but one thing I do know is that I'm finally getting my shot. I've finally somehow proven to EAW management that I actually belong in a wrestling match. The fact is when management watches what I do this week they're going to realize just how much of a mistake they truly made. Holding me back from what I know I will eventually have and enjoying it at the same time. Having me screwed over week after week is something that's going to stop. Things are going to change for Brayden Cruise and that's something each and every single superstar in the back should keep on note. I say that because there will come a time when I step into the ring with almost each and every single person on the roster and when that time comes. When I finally reach my point of greatness I will be standing alone holding EAW gold around my waste. My opportunity this week is going to be one I should have had a long time ago, but I'm glad it's finally here. I'm going to prove not only on Showdown, but on Battleground as well that I am without a doubt the best wrestler in the world today.

The time is ticking boys.

It's almost time for you to meet greatness and that's something nobody can touch. It's something I was born with and I'm going to prove it this week because I am exactly who I say I am and I am....

ENTRANCE | DESCRIPTION.

Theme Song: "Formation" -- Beyonce. [x]
Titantron: Here

Detailed Entrance Description: The lights in the arena begin to glow a bright shade of turquoise, beginning in tandem as the sultry voice of Beyonce echoes over the PA system. After a few moments, Aria Jaxon struts out into view on the stage with a smirk creasing her expression. She makes her way to the center of the stage, doing a full one hundred and eighty-degree turn so the audience can get a look at her gear. The Californian brushes the dirt off her shoulders before proceeding down the ramp, initially with outstretched arms. Her smile grows to a wider, more visible one as three bell chimes cut through the air. She removes whatever pair of her signature shades she's wearing, tossing them out into the crowd as she walks down the aisle. A  pop echoes within the arena’s four walls as the ring announcer gets the introductions underway. Jaxon continues down the ramp at a brisk pace, high-fiving fans along the barricade as she goes. Aria hops up onto the ring apron, amidst scattered cheers and camera flashes dotting the audience. She blows a kiss out to the crowd before stepping over bottom rope, entering the ring at last. The petite Californian heads for the nearest corner, climbing onto the middle rope, posing for pictures and hyping the crowd up some more before hopping down and leaning back against the turnbuckles. All the while, her music continues to play and her brown eyes are fixed on the ramp. Aria awaits the arrival of her opponent with a strange sort of anticipation; she’s just dying to kick someone in the face tonight.

WRESTLER’S | IN-RING INFO.
Disposition: Take no shit babyface. Chaotic good.
Personality: Recent events have left Aria Jaxon hardened, resolute, and confident as ever. She's had to dig down deeper than ever before to retain her spot at the top, and attempts at storming the castle be damned, she's still here. If she has to keep turning new pages and continuously rediscovering what her limits are in order to stay on the throne, then so be it. She's flashy, outspoken, and never, ever willing to compromise how she sees herself for anyone else. She fights for more reasons now than ever before. She's determined to further her own legacy, and keep charting this path toward a legendary career. For all of the changes she's undergone, she wants to show people that you don't have to sell your soul to the devil or resort to underhanded tactics to get to the top -- whether she's setting that example for other women in the locker room or for the little girls in the audience who idolize her. She might've lost more than she bargained for during this time on top, but it still doesn't leave her with any desire to take her foot off the gas pedal. If the opposition gets stronger, than she will, too. She hasn't fought this hard or come this far to conduct herself any other way. This monarch has no immediate plans of abdicating the throne, and that alone is an invitation for her contemporaries to try their hand at overthrowing her. Bring on the heavy artillery. If you're taking shots at The Queen, you best not miss.
Wrestling Style: Technical. Aerial. Showman. Submission. She's incredibly quick and this is something she must rely on a lot because her opponents are often larger than her. Her kick variations are also a cornerstone of her arsenal. She employs the use of several unconventional means of ensnaring opponents in submissions, because again, she's usually at a size disadvantage and knows a million ways to work around that.
Specialty Match: Triple Threats. Submission.
Weapon of Choice: Taser brass knuckles or neon blue light tubes.

Sponsors: Tapout (became an EAW-affiliated spokeswoman in January 2016), Roc Nation Sports (signed in January 2016), Ivy Park (since April 2016), CoverGirl (since May 2016).
