Hey everyone, just wondered what you guys think will be the matches at NXT Takeover: Chicago. I'm not the biggest fan of NXT, I do like it but tbh I only ever watch the Takeover events.

If I had to guess the matched I'd say it would be something like

Bobby Roode (c) vs Hideo Itami - Hideo deserves this after all the unfortunate injuries he's had
Asuka (c) vs Ember Moon (again) - The rematch needs to happen and Asuka should drop the belt to her IMO
Authors of Pain (c) vs #DIY - A last hurrah for #DIY before they join the main roster
Aelister Black vs Drew Galloway - Would be a pretty good match
Ruby Riot vs Nikki Cross - The seeds of the rivalry was placed at Takeover, I'd like to see them go at it one on one
Roderick Strong vs Eric Young - Likewise

I'd also like to fit Kassius Ohno and other people on the show but idk, there's usually only 5 matches. Maybe he could confront whoever wins the NXT title match and make himself a contender.

What do you guys think the matches will be?

My prediction is that somewhere during this snoozefest, there will be a CM Punk chant.

This will absolutely not happen, but can you imagine the madness if CM Punk showed up? The entire crowd would collectively shit themselves:

A heel should screw with the crowd, and come out to CM Punk's theme song.

I agree with both Methuselah and Gambit. CM Punk coming out unexpectedly would be amazing and the fans would defenitely shit in their pants. But yeah, that won't happen sadly. Also like Gambit said, a heel can get huge heat if he can pull that off. But I don't think that is going to happen as well. Still, looking forward to that event.

I would lowkey piss myself in laughter if a heel came out to Punk's music.

Hopefully we get a Chief Keef song as the theme

I predict that the usual Chicago crowd will be bitchy about not getting what they want and CM Punk chants will last through the night

I wish someone just shut the Chicago crowd just like Stephanie did. Sick of them, really.
