I hate being that person, but NJPW promotes it's titles under either the IWGP or NEVER "sanctioning body" names. I know exactly what you mean, just a pet peeve.

Also. Who ranks the ROH TV title over the main belt? Adam Cole is perhaps one of the best champions it has had.

IWGP Intercontinental Championship or the Raw Women's Championship for the fifth spot. Take your pick

1. WWE Championship - It is the ultimate goal in the industry to be the face of the largest wrestling company in the world and in many ways the face of wrestling in general. Not always the best wrestler or talent holds it but it guarantees you are listed among the top wrestling stars of all time in terms of fame.

2. WWE Universal Championship - Same as the first one. It is essentially a copy of the other title created for the brand split but serves the same importance. It seems somehow less prestigious because it is newer and a copy but it is essentially the same as the WWE Title.

3. IWGP Heavyweight Championship - Probably the most respected title right now since it is essentially the pinnacle of actual pro wrestling. In many ways it is the ultimate goal of the indy scene for wrestlers who don't go to WWE. Wrestlers who hold this aren't necessarily well known in the US but are frequently considered the best in the world among hardcore wrestling fans and people in the industry.

4. IWGP Intercontinental Championship - NJPW has done a lot to make this title as important as the IWGP Heavyweight Title. Most of NJPW's titles could be considered that way but this one stands out. Usually when it comes down to it tho, this title is ultimately secondary to the Heavyweight title so it is less prestigious.

5. NXT Championship - I probably would've given this spot to TNA or ROH a few years ago but NXT has stepped up to become the most prominent launching point for WWE. WWE has pushed basically all of the NXT Champions hard aside from Bo Dallas who had a lot of potential imo but flopped when WWE altered his gimmick poorly when he was called up.

Lots of other titles tho with great wrestlers and promotions that are often better but not as famous or prestigious.
