Wow Bayern really like signing Dortmund players. Just in case you didn't know, Hummels was a Bayern player before Dortmund signed him and came from Bayern Youth Team. so he's not really a full Dortmund player after all. |

| The thing about Bayern is that they helped out Borussia when Borussia was in financial crisis, with Bayern bailing out Borussia. Therefore, Bayern and Borussia aren't rivals in the extreme sense, but a competitor. Don't blame Bayern for buying Borussia players when
A. Borussia doesn't extend their star players' contract, leaving a club like Bayern to negotiate with a Borussia player on a free contract like Lewandowski or a rather, low fee for a class of a player like Hummels
B. Bayern offers bigger wages, because at the end of the day? If I know I am a star player in the making, I want to be paid like one.
C. Borussia's player not seeing Borussia as the be all, end all club to stay loyal to. In fact, Borussia's players aren't even Borussia's academic youth, so why should they be loyal to Borussia entirely speaking?
Case in point:
İlkay Gündoğan: transfer from Nürnberg Sven Bender: transfer from 1860 München Henrikh Mkhitaryan: transfer from Shakhtar Donetsk Marco Reus: transfer from Borussia Mönchengladbach Mats Hummels: transfer from FC Bayern Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang: transfer from Saint-Étienne Shinji Kagawa: transfer from Cerezo Osaka/Manchester United Marcel Schmelzer: transfer from FC Magdeburg Julian Weigl: transfer from 1860 München Roman Bürki: transfer from SC Freiburg
I don't want to defend Bayern being assertive in Bundesliga but at the same time? I don't like the circlejerk of the rather, hipster Borussia that is victimized by the mighty Bayern when Borussia done the same thing to other competitors and hasn't done jackshit to retain their employers |

I also heard that Goetze is about to leave Bayern, so is he considered to be a "traitor"? |

| Why are you comparing Gotze leaving Bayern to Hummels joining? Gotze left to win 'trophies' at a time when the club was winning trophies, and decided to announce his transfer weeks before the club was meant to face Bayern Munich in the Champions League final that he just happened to be 'injured' for.
And Hummels being a Bayern youth player has nothing to do with anything, the fact is that he is a Dortmund player and he's the captain of the club who just managed to announce to a seal a transfer before the two teams even faceoff in the German Cup. He shitted on Gotze for the way he left and now he's doing the exact same thing that he is doing.
Gotze wants to leave because of lack of play time and he wouldn't be joining Bayerns rivals if he were to leave and even if he did go to another German club, he isn't as important to Bayern as he was to Dortmund or how important Hummels is to Dortmund and he wouldn't be weakening them by going to a title rival.
Lewa wasn't considered a 'traitor' despite going on a free, he at least managed to keep himself professional throughout it, which neither Hummels or Gotze did. |

I think it's be a long time player for the club or something like that Well, I've had enough to all those people say to a player that Bayern bought as a "traitor" for their own club. I also heard that Goetze is about to leave Bayern, so is he considered to be a "traitor"? The "traitor" angle is played by several fans of every club in almost every sport. Nobody likes to see a good player leave, and fans will be sour about it, especially if the player doesn't conduct himself professionally. That gets magnified in the case of Hummels, who was with the club for a league title, a Champions League final, and is the captain now. It's always an sensationalized and exaggerated angle, and in this case, it's a misinformed one, seeing as transfers are how football business works. The same goes for Gotze, who might be handling his business like a baby again, but he's not being a traitor now or back then. Bayern and BVB are still on different levels, as Nick pointed out. Geek Master Klopp got BVB up there for a while, but BVB still need to show that they can stay at that level for some time before we can really call Bayern and BVB rivals. If a player demands a transfer to a rival, maybe the traitor angle could fit there. But even then, I don't like using it. I disagreed with the "full player" comment because Hummels had several years at BVB where his wages came from Dortmund's bottom line (i.e., he wasn't on loan), he dressed and played often on the senior team in competitive matches, and he wasn't cup-tied or anything like that. I don't know what else it would take for him to be a "full player" at Borussia Dortmund. It should have nothing to do with that fact that Hummels was once on Bayern's youth team and senior team before his initial loan and subsequent sale to BVB. |

| To be honest, fans are forgiven type. Whether a "traitor" leaves their club, fans will eventually forget it. Especially if you still have countless great players (not to mention, if good players goes to their club)
I don't really pay attention to German League honestly, but let's say...Messi leaves Barca for Real Madrid I couldn't care less. Because I support Barcelona as a whole, not the individual players |

| I think people are ultimately missing the point here. Hummels isn't getting hate for moving to Bayern, he's getting hate for how he did it and how he went about it, like Gotze. There's a reason why Lewa didn't get hate from Dortmund fans and why he still got a great send off by the supporters, and is still loved by them.
There's a difference between supporting a club as a whole and not liking/telling a dude that you support that he's acted like a twat and fucked over your team, you can still support a team as a whole and not like a dude for fucking your team over. |

| Swansea is keeping Francesco Guidolin as its manager. Two year deal. That'll hopefully be enough time for him to get our players to master the whole "defending corners" thing that eluded them all season. |
