The Book of Tyler, Chapter III: Mask It, Walk On Nazareth To Black Caskets

(EAW Exclusive! We open to a scene that's somewhat empty. Merely a white concrete wall, with a black steel folding chair positioned in front of the camera. Tyler Parker is shown, sitting down in the chair, though it's backwards. He's in his ring gear and he's tearing off the tape from his wrist. Tyler grins slightly and clears throat before speaking.)

I might be sweating, I might be a little exhausted but I'm not suffering and I have no marks or scars on my body. I've done what I said I was going to do like I have my entire career, like I have each and every week I'm in the ring... I said I was going to make Nick Angel tap out. I said he was going to be there, on the mat, breathless. I said I was going to make sure that he had nothing left in him. He tried to compete with me but he could barely think of what to do throughout the match. Rewatch the match. He couldn't keep me down because like I said, I've been training for this. I've been training to get back in the ring and to compete. I've been training and last week? I outcompeted him. I won and I'm sitting here, wiping off the sweat from my forehead and off of my bare chest and he's somewhere in the back, whining and complaining to himself, crying that he's hurt. You know what I think? I think he shouldn't have bite off more than he could chew because he has choked on the things he said he was going to do to me. He said he was going to do this and that but he got himself hurt. He's crying out of pity for himself but he has no pity from me. You know who else's going to have no pity from me? Nico Borg, whenever we meet. Whether it be this week or at Territorial Invasion, I'm going to make sure he not chokes but swallows on the things he's said. He's said that I'm selfish and that I think about myself but he speaks like he has known me. He speaks like he knows what he's talking about but I think he likes hearing himself speak. I mean, he kept talking and talking. Nico Borg TWISTS and MISINTERPRETS what's in the bible; he thinks he's doing what's right and he thinks he's doing God's work but he's not thinking if he thinks that because he's hurting others. He said he's going to hurt me or try to. He thinks I'm scared but I'm not. That's the furthest emotion I have for him. If anything? I can't wait. I can't wait to get in the ring with him and I can't wait to make him apologize for what's been said. That's not what I'm here to talk about though. I'm here to talk about my opponent for this week and my opponent? I've been in the ring with before but haven't had a one on one with. He's cocky, he's brash but he backs it up. He backs up the things he's said, each and every week, this week though? He's not going to back it up. My opponent? Tiberius Jones. He talks about how he's the rightful Answers World Champion but if he was the rightful Answers World Champion, then he'd have the Answers World Championship and not Ares Vendetta. If I couldn't take the Answers World Championship away from Ares Vendetta, then he's not going to take it away from him either. He has no shot at it; he has nothing to him but a briefcase with no contract in it. Oh, that's right, he has no briefcase or contract. He's going to take me out? He's going to take me out like he took Heart Break Boy out? You know what I'm going to do? I'm going to get in the ring with him, I'm going to get on the mat with him and chain-grapple him, wear out his limbs and make him tap out or... I'm going to throw him like a rag doll in the ring and make sure that he's unable to even stand. That's what I'm going to do. That's the kind of competitor I am. I'm the kind of competitor that has finesse. Tiberius Jones is the kind of competitor that's going to try to wipe the floor with me, grind my face into the mat and, if I were anyone else, make me hate my life and make me rethink things, regret things. I'm not like anyone else though. He's going to have to try more than that if he's going to do what no one has done and that's keep me down. Ares Vendetta might brag about how I haven't competed for a month because of him but I could've competed. I could've but I couldn't, mentally and physically. You know, Tiberius Jones might be thinking about that, he might be thinking about how I hadn't been in the ring for a month and he might be thinking that he has this won. If I were him, I'd be a little bit complacent too. If I were him, I'd think that Tyler Parker is insignificant too. Thank God I'm not. Because if I were, then it'd be my career--- everything I've ever bruised for, everything I've ever thought about, everything I've ever done would be CUT DOWN this Saturday. You know, I've talked about what I've been through before but I haven't talked about the things that I've been through to get here. I haven't talked about how I had my lungs punctured. I shouldn't be living but I am. I'm living, I'm breathing, I'm talking and I'm out there, in the ring, competing. I'm...

(Tyler Parker trails off and sits there, thinking to himself before he gets up and kicks the chair.)

I'M MUCH MORE MATURE, I'VE MATURED IN THE PAST NINE YEARS THAT I'VE BEEN IN THIS BUSINESS AND YOU'D THINK THAT I'D HAVE NOTHING TO LIVE FOR IF YOU'VE SEEN ME TRAIN, IF YOU'VE BEEN THROUGH WHAT I'VE BEEN THROUGH, IF YOU'VE BEEN IN THE RING WITH ME. YOU'D THINK THAT BUT I LIVE FOR THIS. I LIVE TO COMPETE. THAT'S WHAT I DO AND THAT'S WHAT I AM. I'VE BROKEN NOSES, FRACTURED CHEEKBONES AND WIRED JAWS SHUT! I'VE STARVED FOR MOST OF MY LIFE, I'VE STARVED FOR TWENTY TWO YEARS AND THIS WEEK, THIS SATURDAY? HE'S IN A BAD POSITION.

I'm aware that he's going to try to take me out, I'm aware that I'm going to be at his mercy throughout the match but I'm not bothered. I'm not bothered because it takes three seconds to win a match, not twenty or thirty minutes. My body is conditioned to go for twenty, thirty minutes and I'm willing to go for more than that. I'm willing to go to the lengths he's going to go to. Because I'm tired of him talking, I'm sick and tired of hearing that I'm not the Tyler Parker I used to be because I've heard it so much, I've heard it from others but I couldn't care less about what he thinks. I couldn't care less because I'm going to do things to him that I haven't done and I wouldn't look because what I'm going to do to him shouldn't be televised.

You don’t get it, do you?

For all of my forays outside of the Vixens division, that place is my home. That will always be the case. Regardless of where I am now, no matter how deeply ingrained I am into the fabric of the New Breed division, and no matter where my pursuits take me, I am proud to be a Vixen. I love knowing that I’m a part of the best collection of female wrestlers on God’s green earth. I take a ridiculous amount of pride in knowing that I haven’t just been able to survive in that competitive ass division, but to thrive in it. The greatest sense of accomplishment has to come from committing to the flourishing of something worthwhile, and that is exactly what I’ve done. I’ve paid the price in blood, sweat, and tears to ensure that the Vixens division will continue to constantly one-up itself, as I’m sure you have too, Haruna. The difference between you and I is that you expect a pat on the back for it. If you’re doing what you love, as you say you are, then you shouldn’t have to wait on anyone else’s validation or acclaim. The compliments are wonderful, I’ll admit that. You feel like the recognition is what you’ve been deprived of, and that’s probably what turned you into the bitter pain in my ass that you are now, but believe me when I say no one wants to listen to your sob stories. What’s the matter, your name wasn’t brought up in enough conversations for your liking? Shit, for someone who so often berates girls like me who embrace the reality shows and red carpets, you sure do seem starved for attention yourself. The thing you failed to understand is that, although the division grows, while the public profile explodes, the small number of spaces available at the top remains the same. It’s an exclusive club, and membership gets harder and harder to get ahold of as more and more women try their hand at contributing to this ongoing revolution. Let me repeat myself when I say this division is my home. It doesn’t matter if I go to the ends of the earth to defend this Cup, the Vixens division is where my heart and soul is. The fact that this match is even happening is indicative of the fact that we're both, in some manner, pursuing prizes typically outside of a Vixen's scope of view. It doesn't mean I'm not dedicated to tryna make the Vixens division the best it can be. Every woman who's ever spread her wings and taken a step out has always come back. Look at HBG and Cameron. Chasing down titles that had never before been held by women only added to their legend. That's what I'm tryna do. It's always a wonderful thing when a Vixen charts a new course and shows the boys that none of their belts are really safe. It's a testament to just how bright the future for the Vixens really is, so for you to talk down to every woman lacing up her boots and try to tear it down for the sake of building it up in an image that works solely for you…that’s a fucking problem for me. When you start cherry-picking through and deeming glamour girls like myself unworthy of standing in the spotlight just because of what we look like, that’s an issue. And all for what? Because a handful of women didn’t see things your way? Let’s be real, Haruna, you’re not the first Vixen to take the low road with certain shit. Underhanded tactics aren’t my style, but I know that’s not the case for everyone. Plenty of Vixens have embraced their inner bad girl, but they haven’t cried foul when people took issue with it. Do you see Sheridan apologizing? What about Stephanie? Or Veena? Exactly. If you’re gonna wage war against the Vixens division, fine. Do that, even if it’s doomed to fail, but for God’s sake, commit to it. Don’t drag every other woman in the locker room and then turn around and talk about how you’re so determined to make a better future for us all. If that was really all you wanted, you’d shut up and do your job. You think everyone in my path has made it easy for me thus far? You think I have an unblemished win-loss record? No, and hell no, but it doesn’t matter because none of that has done anything to dampen my resolve to be the best wrestler I can possibly be. So forgive me if I don’t believe a single thing that comes outta your mouth, but you made that decision for me. Ever since your little flag burning, you’ve  been stumbling blind. You never did have your coordinates charted, did you? You told yourself that the Vixens were the enemy and that was the false truth you’ve carried with you. It hasn’t led you anywhere positive. No one is heralding you as some martyr or some unsung hero because that’s not what you are. I need you to get that through your thick skull: the Vixens are no indebted to you. We don’t owe you shit, and we certainly never took anything from you. Did we steal your pride? Well, that’d make you pretty fragile, wouldn’t it? If you let other people’s words and actions shape you that much, then you probably never had a strong sense of self in the first place. No one is patting you on the back or holding your hand. And you don’t really expect any sympathy for the fact that you came from a non-wrestling bloodline or that you’re a long way from home, do you? Look, everyone can’t be a Vendetta. Everyone can’t be born into this shit. The vast majority of us aren’t, and yet you’re the only one tryna pass it off as a handicap. As for the whole “I left my home behind” thing...gimme a break. No one twisted your arm and forced you into this line of work. You’re here because you wanna be. Somewhere along the line, you fell in love with wrestling, and that carried you all the way here. Now you want people to pity you for it? Look around. You’re far from being the only person who had to globetrot just to make it to this company, but again...you think you’re special. You expect gold stars, and the things you want them for are things other people have already done. Still, if things had gone differently, maybe I’d be able to find it in my heart to sympathize with you. I can’t. Not when you’ve spoken ill of and undermined the accomplishments of the hardest-working group of women in the world. I can’t when you screamed to kingdom come about how I was some undeserving flavor of the month who line-jumped you for a trophy you never really wanted. I can’t when you’ve gone outta your way to interfere in my matches instead of manning the fuck up and asking for what it was you really wanted. Nah, I can’t identify with you now. I don’t believe much of what you say, but luckily for you, actions speak louder than words. What your actions have told me is that you thought coming after the Young Lions Cup was a good idea. Even more laughable than that is the fact that you think you’re about to take it from me.

I’ve taken this whole thing incredibly personal because you waged war with me on two fronts. You really should pick a struggle. Don’t try and tear down the house the Vixens built and try to take what I worked for. That’s just...a bad idea all around. I stopped wondering why you zeroed in on me, because by this point in time, we both know what the deal is. You’d kill to be in my spot. That’s what set this all off. I get it, you want your props for getting to the New Breed division first, before any other Vixen had a chance to make a splash. You had a head start on me, and what happened to it? I rendered it completely and utterly irrelevant. It’s not how much time you spend here, Haruna; it’s what you do with that time. I need you to stop taking issue with me because I’ve spent my time in EAW more wisely than you have. You’ve had a bumpy ride thus far, but you’re not the only one. God, I wonder if I cried, pouted, and put the blame off on others every time I came up short, would I be even more successful than I am now? If I adopted your methods, where would I be? Probably in your shoes, with the same fucked up outlook on things. You’ve gotten up when you were knocked down, good for you. Those instances of you getting up and dusting yourself off haven’t been without their fair share of drama and fanfare...but still. I don’t bring up your past failures because I think I’m perfect; I bring them up because it seems like you seem determined for them to define you. You say we’re the same just because we both lost our titles in our first defenses, and man, that’s when it became painfully apparent that you’re tryna turn superficial similarities into someone more than they are. I am nothing like you. How could I be? You let your shortcomings eat you alive to the point that you started projecting that displeasure you had with yourself out onto everyone else. So believe me, I’m not making something outta nothing, sweet pea. I’m not pulling shit outta thin air. I’m doing the best I can with the material you’ve given me. I’ve never let my losses define me. I’d be a fool to think the momentary dark spots in my career have canceled out all the wonderful moments. If I did, I wouldn’t be the Young Lions Cup holder right now. I never would’ve been able to capitalize on the opportunity presented to me. You know, for your sake, I really do hope the Haruna of old makes a comeback. The person who had all the promise in the world when I first showed up isn’t the jaded, misguided broad whose head I’m all geared up to take off. I say the old Haruna should make a comeback because new Haruna’s pursuits are leading her to all the wrong places. She’s setting her sights on the wrong accolades, and picking fights with the wrong people. If you say you have a propensity for picking yourself up when you fall, then that’s great. That’s exactly what you’ll need to be doing on Sunday night when you come up short in your quest for the Cup and I bring your fleeting momentum to a halt. You said you were bringing your best, and that’s all I want from you. Bring your A-game to make up for all the weeks of cowardly attacks and cringeworthy excuses you’ve thrown my way. Just let it be known that your best can’t beat my best. You made a mistake diving into this headfirst.

I am the Queen of the New Breed. Long may I reign.

So many changes going on here in  season ten already. The newer additions to Showdown and EAW as a whole make this place what it is, and that is only the best fed around barring none. Though it's changes that make us as people who we are. Young guys like me, we have lots more evolving to do to reach the heights of those that came before us, no doubt about it. I am not afraid to admit it. For the record, no I don't think I'm perfect. There is no such thing as perfection when it comes to our race. Even those with the highest IQs out there in the world still had to make it through all the necessary trial and error during their own growing evolutions for the longevity of our race to advance and of the individual positions or statuses they held. I'm not talking about anybody in particular as it pertains to famous people that are not wrestlers like scientists, philosophers, astronauts, teachers, or Presidents.  I actually am talking about wrestlers here. The best wrestlers. Guys that understand THIS business, and THIS company. To understand this place and how it works a wrestler has to go through all the necessary steps before they can start to see any real success here, before they can take a nice bite of that piece of pie so-to-speak. I mentioned change, and evolution. Though, even as I mention those things, my opponent this week he has said he is a veteran of the business and claims to have gone through a complete metamorphosis over time to bring to us the package you all have currently seen before you for about two months. In his mind he has already completely evolved. He knows who he is he says. There isn't anything that he hasn't seen, and apparently no more changes he needs to make...supposedly. The things we have seen this man display over his time here make him a pretty mixed bag. Now, I will admit he's very versatile. I mean he's got the humor mill generational thing that he brings out in his personality with each promo he produces. He loves comedy, something that Elite Answers Wrestling is not built on. You won't see the best wrestlers putting on comedy routines to be different. It will not bring about success for them, and it would be damaging to the image they are making a constant effort to have the world see them for. This generation is just fine from where I stand. Guys that come on in through these doors, and even the one that have been here a few years longer? They are always looking to get better, some of these young and talented individuals are hot heads, but if they didn't care like Kurt thinks then this company would be struggling instead of thriving as it has done by out doing itself each and every year. Guys going out and placing their bodies on the line just for those precious ratings you claim I have the power to bring down with a few promos. Are you listening to yourself, Kurt? How much sense does that even make? I mean maybe i have dropped on my head more than i know. Anyways. He admitted before that he is a rebel so I guess it just goes with the territory. If he has lived all those experiences and has come to his little conclusion about the current state of the ole biz then it must be so, right? EVERYBODY is blind and disillusioned about who they are, how they came to be wrestlers and what they are fighting for, yes? Gee, brilliant! All my success was simply chance? Well, thats just great! Now, i really do need to go back home and look myself over in the mirror a bit longer, yell into a pillow, and reassess my current standing. Not just in wrestling, but in life too. (Sarcasm) Gee, thanks Kurt. Thanks for setting me straight. Now, i can truly go on and live a more fullfilling and prosperous life! See, its not quite like that Kurt. You've had a horrible time for a long period of time, too long, and you believe you've changed? I don't know. You just bitter man, but not because the business is as you have assessed it, but because you have watched it evolve without you, and now you have to play catch up. I thinks it, Kurt. You are are shitbag, but don't make any plans of bringing my image down in the dumpster with yours. I know why I am here, and what it takes to be successful here why I will be successful here now this week, and well into the future long after you are gone. You see, Kurt, he won't ever strive to be like the best cause in his mind he is already. Take him or leave him. He likes to make bold claims still. Who doesn't? The thing is when someone makes bold claims like Kurt tends to do you kind of got to be able to back them up every once in the while, or people start to wonder if they can trust his claims. They start to figure that you are someone that is unreliable if you can't do what you say you are going to do. Kurt tries to undermine me through constant and endless amounts of slander. Well, of course he does. Who doesn’t already do that to some degree, but he goes overboard with it as if that really is his only true attack that he can throw at me. His basic method of attack is certainly not as refined as he would like to believe in the back of his mind that it is. It’s a pretty much nitpicking at best. He points out so many things that many others just won’t take in to account. I certainly don’t have to go into any real detail here. You’ve all seen it. Though he does mention my style of attack, and how he thinks it copies others, which is partly true. I do happen to draw upon a lot of people’s traits and attitudes toward different situations for inspiration. This is true, but then again, aren’t we all inspired by something or somebody when we speak in promos in some way shape or form? Is everybody else really so much more innovative? Is it suddenly wrong to learn from others so you can better polish your own abilities? I certainly don’t see the problem with it. Though, as I’ve stated previous, we all draw upon what we learn in life experiences from someone else or something else based off those experiences in life from just about anything that we come across. I’m sure Kurt realizes this too. He simply has his own narritive he has to stick to. It’s why he is so creative in his promos the way he is. He has simply had more life experience than somebody like me. Hell, he’s 33 years old, he better have. Still even so, he is a product life, and by that I mean he has been through and seen plenty. Kind of like the Product Life Cycle, but not quite.  He’s picked up a lot in his life experiences inside and outside that squared circle, but in a wrestling promotion like this? All that life experience is all I see on display. The humor, the humility, the somberness, the melancholy, the bitterness and such. Its all there for everyone to see, but you really need to air your dirty laundry to a therapist or something. It could be quite medicinal for you. Hold a pity party or something. None of this is going to translate into the result you seek out of this. You keep showing us how creative and dynamic you are, but as has been proven already before Diablo, that simply is not enough to get the job done here so far. You are unproven and unconvincing. You are destined to go through the normal trial and error period, growing pains if you can even say that at your age. If I were to simply give you the contendership that would be easier, cause if you have to earn it you've already shown you simply don't bring enough to the table to earn this right that I currently hold, but you will find that out for yourself after Showdown is over and done with and I move on to face the National Elite Champion while you go on to further sharpen your skills. The quick wit, and clever insult tags Kurt throws out are more hilarious than anything else, but it won't get me side tracked this week. I want this victory so Kurt will not be able to say "well, technically he won". This win will be important going forward in a sense that when I see Kurt again at some point I will then have attained more knowledge on how to tackle a Kurt Burton type or Burton himself in the future. He's coming into this bout putting on a tough guy persona mixed with his childish name calling and comedy hour routine just as he always has since we first met up in the battle royals, and he's going to live off this persona for some time until he realizes that it's not all its cracked up to be. Once he is humbled on Showdown and perhaps a few more times afterwards maybe he will start to understand. He's already gotten a taste of it. You can just tell he is still trying to get acclimated with everything, and with that he is simply using conjecture when addressing me. He's saying different things from what he did before Diablo, but still using the same approach that got him nowhere in any of our two previous encounters. He believes going one on one is to his advantage, or at least that is what he wants everyone to believe. That's fine, he was not the first to think that against me, and he won't be the last. The thing is with spouting talk like that is now you have to back it up. He's on a losing streak and I'm on a winning streak with a proven track record here enough to back up what I say and he now has to prove he can topple me or his words mean nothing. I wouldn’t put any type of wager on it though. In the last five months I've only lost as many matches total. Only three of those were one on one in the form of the current Interwire Champion TLA, the current Hall Of Fame champion Mr. DEDEDE, and Nico Borg. The other side of the list, the wins, that keeps growing, and I am going to take great pleasure in finally adding another to that list. You ain't anything I haven't seen yet, Kurt. I mentioned before Diablo you reminded me of a guy I beat early in my career in Brett Kennedy. Brett was another loudmouth dingleberry that would just talk to talk, just saying lots of stuff at random like you do in addressing me with your shortsighted way of thinking, not really caring what you say or do just so long as it means you at least fought fire with fire. At this point with your failure to win the lesser battles, such as your match against Nobi in the triple threat or Rattik one on one, than the battle we will have one on one for the right to face the National Elite Champion?  It's inconceivable to believe this match will be any different. You are floating closer to obscurity than you are relevancy and I just can't see you getting one over on me, not this week. I won't take you for granted in that ring. 

The changes I have been through in my time here have been rather beneficial. I went through the normal growing pains here just like many others before me and since. From pre-show reject to lower midcard, but with the potential to be more. I went from someone who didn’t put in enough effort, getting outworked regularly in the beginning to someone who puts in maximum effort every week I’m on the card. I show consistency every week and have been for months now, and the results show up in the ring as well. That’s something Kurt has to deal with this week, and that is my ability to keep coming up with stronger efforts with each growing day. Kurt, I’m sure, realizes this, and will try with everything he has to keep up. He probably hasn’t worked with as consistent of a performer like myself in quite some time. My confidence was not shaken on Showdown, not in the least. I knew what I signed up for the moment me and Kurt shook on it. I have never made a decision so far in my career with this much at stake, no, but I made it nonetheless because I want to find out if I really have what it takes to win in high stakes situations or if Diablo was a fluke. I gotta know. I also want to further add more doubt into Kurt’s mind that he doesn’t have what it takes to make it here in the big leagues as it stands today. He will either refine his approach some to better suit his needs while he is here? Or he will approach this the same way he has so far while continuously receiving minimal results in return and gaining no momentum in the process.

I talked about momentum the last time. It’s not the most important mental aspect to this game, but it does play a big part in succeeding against inferior opponents like Kurt. Having momentum, it gives you a great sense of confidence. It makes your words mean more to your opponents when you say them, because it puts a sense of doubt in the back of their minds even if they will not openly admit it. Kurt, he has none, and so he is coming at me with a false sense of confidence right now this week. All the claims in the world don’t mean anything unless you can validate what you say in the ring. So far he hasn't in the way of a win lately. Admitting your shortcomings is great and all, but if you aren’t learning from your defeats then you aren’t going to get anywhere. Momentum played a small part in me beating you and everybody else at Diablo, Kurt. Just like it helped me advance to Pain For Pride, and Grand Rampage before that. It’s going to play a small part again on Showdown Kurt. Oh, and I should hope you wouldn’t bring that lead pipe into play, Kurt. A disqualification win would still be a win regardless if I pinned or submitted you, so good thinking there, Kurt. I’m proud of you! Let me clear something else up to while I am at it with answering another of your shameless attacks of my character. Battle Royals? They tend to last a while. So when you are in one it is important to exert as much energy as you can give to such a gimmick match, but it’s just as important to be smart and pace yourself with the assumption that it is going to be a long tiring match, which it was. It ain’t my fault you expended so much energy that you couldn’t finish the job. I played it smart, you didn’t. Quit crying about it. Did you catch the Nick Angel Syndrome or something? You sure do that bitching thing you do real well. I really can’t tell the difference between you and Angel at this very moment. You should catch one of his promos sometime, Kurt. It will show you what NOT to do in one. You know, Kurt, not very important and certainly not something that pertains to our match in really any way shape or form, but I couldn’t help but wonder that with Terry Chambers being a new addition to OMERTA going into Territorial Invasion for the Team Crash vs Team Ryder match. It got me thinking, just wondering. Why would Crash choose Terry Chambers of all people to represent his side and not you? I mean you supposedly had this connection with Crash at one point, right? That is what you said, is it not? Must bother you some, yeah? Anyways, enough about that, but it just further proves the point that I’ve been making throughout whether you happened to notice or not? That's simply that you are unproven, and more importantly, unworthy of challenging for a title at this point in your EAW career. 

You have had all week to try and throw me off my game, and still you have not. You think my approach will lead to my downfall, but obviously that holds no real merit at all considering the position I am in with the possibility after I defeat you of going on to become the National Elite Champion. You critique everything except your own game, the one that really needs a second look at with those wide gaping eyes of yours. When you start coming at me with some hard hitting facts rather than personal attacks on my character? Then I might feel a little more concerned with your presence, but you can’t seem to do that, and that’s your endgame right there. It all boils down to my time here, and the experiences that I’ve had and the matches and opponents that I’ve encountered before you. Those experiences made me tougher. My success bread the unshakeable confidence that I have in myself that tells me I can come face to face with anything and anybody knowing that in the end I will come out on top. I won’t win them all of course, that’s not what I meant. I will win a lot, but not all of them. What I mean is I can be faced with any obstacle and know with absolute certainty that I have what it takes to succeed everytime, just like I will on Showdown. When it’s all said and done I will walk out of that ring the same way I entered, and that is the number one contender to the National Elite Championship. Count on it!

Walking forward in a world in rewind, I can’t help but be puzzled by the people who say they’re puzzled by what I do while in utter acceptance of the madness around us. I’m light hearted about a lot of things because things aren’t worthy of being taken seriously. EAW, I entertain because you entertain me, I am a reflection of your antics.

It’s 2016, and you’re telling me EAW got MORE Jesus freaks? I helped take the trash out when I retired the Heart Break Boy, then leader of the EAW church, but now I’m forced to wrestle delusional nuts like Cody Marshall, hear about Black Jesus, and now am being encroached upon by someone related to a third bumbling follower of the unseen sky daddy of this world? Yet what I said last week towards Cody was outrageous?

All I gotta say is, Tyler, keep your weird problems away from me. I say that for your sake, last time religious nuts, Pizza Boy, and a legend was around me, the legend got taken out, and I’m pretty sure lots consider you to be of such a high esteem.

Stop, don’t make excuses for your involvement with this circus, I don’t care.

You may have issues with Nico, but as far as I am concerned, everyone in EAW that isn’t me is part of the Borg.

That’s a Star Trek reference about a group of basically clones, in case you didn’t get it, oh yes it is inferior to Star Wars and I never really delved into the content, but how can one resist the opportunity for word play?

You’re just as regressive as the entirety of the company, you’re out there playing the hero, pretending like you care about the Pizza Boy when you just want to soak up attention for good deeds just like all the scam artists throughout the ages. You think you’ll get an opportunity out of this, but no one is falling for it. It’s so obvious, but you do it anyways because you know that you’ll get away with it because you’re Tyler Parker, and people don’t like being frank with people of your starture. You consider yourself a great of untold measure, and so be it, sit upon your hollow throne and claim this area to be your domain such as anyone else who has allowed one’s pampered upbringing among a populace to bloat one’s ego would, but within any kingdom there is always someone capable of telling the truth. Even as the generals capitulate towards their directives, even as all royals seek to garner even higher favour by tossing around flowery words, and the peasants cower in silence, there is always one being who can speak the ordinary while others confuse it for nonsense. The entertainer. So while everyone is entertained by yours truly as Mr.CITV and the rightful Answers World Champion, let me speak plainly for only your heart to take in my words with the full weight deserved.

Like the jester said to the king, there is bad news that I bring. The leaves are falling, and nevermore will there be spring.

See “Tyler’s woods” isn’t under a seasonal change, no the cycle ended in your last winter when the trees in your woods rotted and became diseased.  Considering whom I am under the payroll of, you’d think I would give credit to the man who eliminated you at the Elimination Chamber, but the J-Dynasty functions on a freer art style than many might assume, as you of all should know, so no I will confront this without such bias tainting the painted canvas I present you just between us. 2015 was meant to be your year, yet it was another’s, and ever since in 2016 you’ve walked these halls without passion, acting more like a plastic mannequin than even when your entire career was centered around beauty products being plastered on your face like some cheap model. You being such an empty husk even almost saps me of a certain energy I prefer to have, I become solemn and the smile on my face fades with slight annoyance despite knowing I should be above this all. Aren’t these struggles so passé?  When will those in EAW grow with the times? Touching upon time, when was the last time Tyler Parker did anything that made anyone look, or think, twice? Of what right do you have to stand before one of the hottest wrestlers in EAW today in interference? Because you are you? Because you feel entitled to a certain level of respect? Bollocks! There are producers like me, and there are old parasites feeding off society like yourself when their time has long passed without them noticing! I will not be blocked, no I will not be contained, not by a leftover tree stump that only serves to remind the world of what occurs when all of one’s purpose has been taken.

Fearless.

That is what you have to be in order to do what I do. The feats I have achieved are things that most Elitist could only dream of. I have went toe to to toe with some of the all time greats and spat on their legacy. I have fought legends and beat them to a pulp without hesitation. I went ahead and challenged a “Gawd” and dared to look at him as nothing more than a mere man. I do not think anyone else would chance the risk. Too much possibility for error they’d say. Well, in a sport like professional wrestling, your environment is filled with nothing but challenges; it’s what comes with the job. There is no room for hang ups, there should be nothing you would not attempt, even if it means having to compete against men deemed as way out of your league. Facing these challenges is the only way to progress! Forget about fear and think about the success that lies ahead after your victory. That’s the way I see it as. You can’t over think it. You shouldn’t worry. As long as you know you have the ability needed there’s nothing you can’t handle -- and that’s what I have. The ability. That raw talent that represents the model athlete. It is hard to ever pass up on an opponent because -- it’s a fact when I say - I have been flat out unstoppable as of late. What happened to Jacob Senn was unprecedented. What occurred that night was a full on annihilation. Same with Mr. DEDEDE. I came for the king and it felt as if it was almost impossible to miss that mark…... Heh, king. I suppose that brings me to my opponent tomorrow night on Dynasty. He is a man who has also had some great dominance as of late and is experiencing a bit of a resurgence. Eclipse Diemos, our current King of Elite.

I must say, in a strange way I admire you Eclipse. We have have a lot of similarities, you and I. We have followed almost the same path in our lives but it’s as if somewhere along the way you got lost. It seems that instead of letting your past turn you into a fighter, you’d rather carry yourself as some kind of strange cult leader. You’re more used to talking your way out of situations by giving out commands or engaging in mind games. You have more or less made a career upon taking advantage of the weak. You prey on the fears of others and use it to either break them, or brainwash them and turn them into one of your pathetic followers. The fears of the meek grow tenfold when ever they so much as hear even an utterance from you. You’re good at exploiting things like that, but question Eclipse? What happens when someone’s fears and insecurities can not be exploited? What happens when you are forced to go against someone truly strong? I’ve been through everything you have Eclipse. I have seen people like you at work. I know how they operate. They run the streets, they run the jails, they run every aspect of the darkness but the truth is that once you get past their mystique and are able to ignore the sting of their words you find out that they themselves are one of the weak, something you had no problem admitting in fairness. You went out of your way to say that you NEEDED your family, I was at least willing to credit you for being honest then until you tried to twist it in a way to where this dependence on them was somehow a good thing and made your stronger than others. I don’t see the logic there at all. You’re talking nonsense to excuse the fact that you as a competitor are not good enough.

People like you prefer to protect themselves through manipulation of others. It’s too bad I’m not dumb enough to fall into that trap. I listened to your little video about me earlier today and I’ll admit it, I was amused. You were trying so hard to get in my head but you weren’t making much progress at all. I knew you were going to use the same insult pretty much everyone else has thrown at me by bringing up my World Heavyweight Championship title loss to Lucian Black at Pain For Pride. Is that meant to be hurtful? Is that meant to make me feel small? Keep on digging, maybe you’ll strike oil eventually.  I’ve owned that loss and have put it way behind me. I proved I was right in realizing that I needed to change after that failure. It’s good to have family standing by you, but they can’t be with you always. You have to take care of yourself because sooner or later you’ll need to fend for yourself. That mentality has gotten me pretty far already if you haven’t noticed. You act as if I’ve fallen off when in actuality I’ve put on better performances since then. As I pointed out earlier, look at my track record. I lost the belt and went on to reinvent myself and get the whole wrestling world talk again. Call it arrogance, call it delusion, but when you see how quickly I get the job done, I think it is not bragging when I say that I have turned myself into a God level talent. There are very few who can hang with me currently. Some of the best in the business could go against me and wouldn’t be anywhere near the odds on favorite yet you seriously think you can run through me? Hahaha….good God, man. You know, you talked about my PFP loss, but didn’t you lose to Kevin Devastation and Hades? Those old fools, the literal walking dead of EAW? Can we talk about those two for a second? Hades has been broken down and worked to the bone and Kevin has been terrible since his third or fourth failed run. The man can’t even keep himself on TV. Literally the only reason you rebounded from that is by cashing in that crown of yours but even then you still haven’t learned from that night. You still are doing the same shtick but for some reason you seem even more confident in yourself. You’re gaining a bit of steam back but there’s no need to gas yourself up, unless you want me to remind you of all of your failures so far. You’re making all of these threats but when have you ever really followed through? There’s nothing you’ve really done to make me worried, you have your feel successful snaps, your couple of well put together plans, but if we were to get down to the nitty gritty and see how well you hold up against EAW’s elite, you have shown yourself to be a known flop. This is looking to be a wash honestly. You won’t have Maero in your corner, Erebos is gone, your new lackey is irrelevant to me, your “sisters” wouldn’t make a difference, there’s nothing in your bag of tricks that would be able to slow down this beast! I’m going to tear you apart plain and simple. There’s not much else to say. I’m looking right past you, I got Mr. DEDEDE in my sights right now so I couldn’t care less about some extra defense in Lucian Black’s reign. There’s nothing to fear. An easy payday coming my way I guess. Enjoy your time in the sun, think of this as your first of many burns.

Am I scared yet? Nope. I’ll give you something to be scared about though.

It's been a while now, hasn't it? A little over a month, I believe. You would think that the wound would heal up by this time, the dagger stuck to my spine would easily be taken out and I can subsequently venture forth into my journey without ever looking back again. If only, but no. The wound is still fresh, the dagger's blade is still tickling my pericardium and I have yet to move an inch from where I stood when all of it went down. If anything, the sole variable in this whole equation  is an obsession of sorts that has been growing within me for the last three weeks. An obsession that continuously compelled to entertain the thought of ending a man's life. Not wrestling him, not fighting him, not even beating him unconscious. I was obsessed with the idea that depicted Kenny Drake's last breath to be mine for the taking; no one else, not even God himself. At that point in time, my mind began sewing up the how's, my ticker began thinking up the why's while my fists just itched to know when. It's funny how one betrayal can provoke such a lethal development of emotions, considering that I never was this hellbent on wanting to punch a hole through that scumbag's ribcage and rip his heart out with my own bare hands. I never was the night that he decided to attack me when I wasn't looking and side with the devil. I never was the morning after either, apathy seized control of my senses and all I ever felt about that ordeal in that period of time was numbness married with disappointment. Fast-forward a couple of weeks later, we were standing across from each other for the very first time; sharing the same thirst for claret and EAW Championship gold. We took that opportunity and we abused its worth to inflict as much pain and agony upon the other as humanly possible, so much so that a witty mind could argue it was more of a one-on-one match than a triple threat. At the closing moments, Kenny started reeling. His punches became weak, he stood on spaghetti legs desperately trying to fight back but a breather was not an act of mercy that I was willing to grant. So, of course, his den had to interfere and save whatever left of his skin; seemingly ensuring that not only will they aid their leader become EAW Champion right then and there, but do so at my expense. That irony didn't live to see the light of day though, because they didn't manage to accomplish either. Yeah, they beat the crap out of me and yeah, that would've easily dashed the dreams of any man donning the same chose and even hope to ever walk again. But the thing is, as cheesy as it may come across to some, I'm not your average joe. I've taken a plethora of beat downs in the past that made life flash before my eyes, tip-toed circles around death but never once did I succumb to its allure. Knock me down and I'll still get back up, cut off my arms and I'll still kick your Adam's apple down your gullet, amputate my fucking legs and I'll stilll headbutt you to oblivion. I'm like that buzzing mosquito that you can never squash. I do not forgive, I do not forget and I do not spare; Wolvesden knew that firsthand, just ask their first lady. Niki Khan, Kenny Drake's lovely wife, was sadly in the wrong place at the wrong time when she joined the rest of Kenny's lackeys as they mauled me like the horde of stray dogs that they are. But upon clearing the ring of their shenanigans with the appreciated help of Aren Mstislav, little ol' Nikki was caught in the crossfire and the chance to plant her head-first into the canvas was too tempting to resist; so I didn't. A Fateful Eighty Nine had the poor woman's name on it which, to put it mildly, enraged the wolves. And here's where the obsession that I talked about earlier really kicked in; in an attempt to avenge his most likely hospitalized broad, Kenny would go on to hire a mob of veiled thugs, nudging them all my way. He didn't man up and came after my neck on his own like anyone else in his position would, naaah. He basically sprinkled some Snow White on a bunch of streetwalkers just so they can do it for him. Why? BECAUSE HE DOESN'T HAVE THE BALLS. Kenny knows me better than most, so he's well acquainted with a focused Carson Ramsay. He was there when I won the Pure title off of his buddy, he was there when I took Starr Stan to the absolute limit at Pain for Pride; he realizes that I never set out to do something that won't eventually happen. Right now, if it's not obvious already, I'm laser-focused on one fulfilling one objective; putting the last nail in his coffin. So by default, Kenny cowered behind someone else's back; just like he cowered behind Damon's when everyone questioned his motive for breaking up our friendship and just like he cowered behind mine garnering reputation off of my name. Here's the kicker though, it doesn't matter anymore. 

I don't care if it's one face that I have to punch in or ten. 

I don't care if I need to F89 every single one of your cronies, your crackhead wife again, your mom, your dad and your pedophile sixty year old uncle to get to you, kenny; I'll do it all over and over and over again. 

THIS IS NOT ABOUT YOU STABBING ME IN THE BACK ANYMORE. THIS IS YOU IGNITING AN OBSESSION IN ME THAT MAINLY REVOLVES AROUND DESTROYING YOU, INSIDE AND OUT. TAKE HEED OF THESE WORDS, KENNY BOY; I WILL NOT REST OR SNOOZE FOR A SECOND UNTIL YOU AND THE ENTIRE WOLVES ARE SIX FEET UNDER.

... But I digress. Conquering an empire requires poise and patience, two things I've grown to relish possessing due to experiences such as being an EAW Elitist. So for now, let's shed some light on what lies ahead in a nearer future. My opponent this week is quite the gem, different from all of those that I've encountered before him. Judas, the man shrouded in mystique who ran roughshod over at the red brand, leaving a trail of bodies and chaos wherever he stepped. He was also the man who faced El Landerson the same night that I was vying for the EAW title on. Too soon? I think not. I find it hilarious though; how Judas, a man who I have never even come in contact with before, took the time of day to voice his own input on my situation with Kenny. Whatever sparked the urge in him to do it and the thought that I would care about what he has to say about my business must have been fruit of hanging out in boiler rooms for so long. I'm not gonna play your game, Judas. I'm not gonna succumb to your little added twists to the reality of what happened between me and Kenny, I ain't that stupid. I see right through your façade and I know full well the reason behind your interest in this feud of mine with Drake; you're trying to creep under my skin. You're trying to throw me off my game so you can at least stand at chance keeping me down for three seconds. Sorry to rain on your parade (Nah, not really) but that won't swing with me, boy. I didn't survive life the slumps for twenty years relying solely on how hard my fists can hit, nah. I've played this kind of chess with the best of them and I've toppled enough mental and psychological hurdles by the age of fifteen to not be phased by any more that may lie ahead. Going into Sunday night, a flurry of thoughts will roam my cranium but rest assured, none of them will involve doubt, let alone fear. I'm not stepping into that ring petrified of the possibility that Kenny Drake and his lap rats come to soil my fun with you. If anything, I'd LOVE for said possibility to become a reality. What's better than perforating one stomach? Perforating two simultaneously! You may have gotten one over Capitani last week Judas, but him and I are completely different people. Scratch that, me and everyone else are completely different people. You think your record book is supposed to make me quiver at thought of locking horns with ya'? On the contrary, my friend. I enjoy the challenge that awaits, I relish the opportunity that stands one DDT away from my reach. The chance to make an example out of what the suits view as EAW's most destructive force today. The chance to give Kenny Drake a look into his future and trust me when I tell you, my masked amigo, I don't let chances go by without capitalizing on them. 

And please, spare me your dwelling on past failures. You're not gonna guilt trip anyone into feeling sorry for you after falling short on shining bright in Miami at Pain for Pride. Your star was hyped up and billed as a peerless phenomenon when you won that New Breed Championship but when the chips were down and push came to shove, you failed to justify that aura about you. Case in point lies in you being reduced to facing guys like Landerson and Capitani nowadays, though you still feel awfully proud of vanquishing them both. You think getting back up regardless of the times that you're knocked down is a forte exclusive to you, Judas? Slam open MY record book. Skim through the lines and focus on occasions like Fighting Spirit where I, along with a few others, took on and almost took down the machine in one single night. Or Reckless Wiring where I went about winning my first championship here in my first title match while most people initially didn't think I had it in me to dethrone EAW's 'future world champion'. Or Pain for Pride where, although ultimately defeated, I still went out there and withstood the best that Starr Stan, the greatest pure wrestler in the history of this company, had to dish out and as consequence, I got The Elite's seal of approval. Granted, figures and accolades don't matter when you step between those ropes but if you're so keen on proving your eligibility to a win over me by reciting what you did in the past, then I will too. You might punch open a few gushes in my face this Sunday, but don't perceive that as a telltale sign of an imminent victory for you. You might put me down, but you won't keep me down. People before you have tried altering that truth; whether individually or in swarms but nobody was allowed that luxury. Nobody will either, not Wolvesden, not Kenny Drake and CERTAINLY not you.

About a month ago I came to EAW in a cowboy hat and the idea that I was going to rid the promotion of minorities. Needless to say, we all know how that one ended. Last week on Showdown, my undefeated streak was broken by Tiberius Jones. Yep. The big guy, Cody Marshall, had my victory stolen by a black man and a flippyshit cruiserweight at that. Tiberius Jones, your philosophy is decidedly anti-American, and don't nobody misassociate this as me supportin' your anarchist fringe beliefs, but you can damn sure go in the ring, brotha. On second thought, I better not say "brotha" too often. Heh. I ain't cool enough to pull it off. Hey cameraman, don't stop rolling. Leave this stuff in man, it's good. No I ain't gonna deck you! Anywho, I gave it all I got, and that's what a real American does. I'm real new around these parts, and I proved without a shadow of a doubt that I can hang with the big boys... or little boys, in Mr. Jones' case. I came into that ring gettin' booed like crazy, and when I left they were all chanting along with me, "USA! USA! USA!". Ya see, American values ain't dead!

The most important value, one that America was founded on, is hard motherfucking work. We live in a country where everyone can pull themselves up by the bootstraps and a build a great life! Remember that, kids. If you believe in yourself and work hard, anything is possible. I grew up a poor farm boy, eatin' grilled chicken every damn meal, so much I almost grew some damn feathers! But I hit the weights, I trained hard in the ring. For fuck's sake I lied about my age to get into a wrestling school. I was a 17-year-old dad, going to high school, going to wrestling school, helping out on the farm, working at the gas station, saving up to buy Paisley an engagement ring, lots'a sleepless nights, but I fucking did it. Now I got enough cash to buy an above-ground pool for my kids! I got a Rolex, luxury cars, big-ass house... and I worked for it. I didn't inherit a damn thing, I just rose early every day and grinded out the long hours. And each and every one of y'all can do it too! Train hard, eat your vitamins, and say your prayers cause God's watching! Are you lookin' for some inspiration? Then just watch me steamroll CJ Fresh on Showdown, this Saturday night.

At the grand climax of what makes us EAW stars, you choked. You choked and you choked from having your ribs catapulted into your throat from that spear. How did it feel? How did it feel to have every ounce of your pride get ripped away by a single man who had left all of his pride at the door, in favor of pursuing the thing that dodged him his entire career? Do you regret it?”


Eclipse slid his hands along the edges of the iron crown, its tips rusted and its single black jewel, resting in the center, had a noticeable blood splatter on it. Eclipse let his eyes wander down, following the blood stains along the counter towards the single person who was chained to the table. Chained is not exactly the appropriate word. Hooked was much more appropriate, fishing hooks digging into flesh, tugging him towards the table. He couldn’t writhe in agony, could only stay perfectly still, less the hooks tore flesh. Eclipse himself had a plate in front of him, a scattering of vegetables composing a salad, while a glass of what seemed to be orange juice was beside him. He stood slowly, his eyes never leaving the hooked man’s as he let a smile cut its way across his lips and dance along the shadows of his memory. His tongue traced a pattern against his teeth, as if reliving something from long ago before turning towards the crown.


“It seems that spear jostled something loose in your memory. Jostled loose the fact of your existence. You were better alone. That’s what you always told yourself wasn’t it? When you were in that orphanage in Baltimore, you were so much better alone. No one could hurt you or use you, not when you had no one in the first place. You could do everything you ever wanted, hurt whatever you wanted, you just had to be alone to do it. Alone to suffer. To cry into the night. To lament. To rage. To feel every ounce of anger as it burned through your skin, scarring you for eternity. Alone to grieve. To lament. And to regret.


And here you are. You are alone once again. Your rage the only thing you have left in this sad pathetic world that you exist in. That you are a part of. You are alone again. Sure, you may hook up with some drugged out whore that falls into your life, her skin pocked with needle holes, her lips scabbed from the drugs that she’s ingested. Still the best sex you have isn’t it? You dominate them, don’t you? Handcuff them? Perhaps beat them? Is that what you are like now? Only way to get the rage out is to abuse them. Get into the ring and you enjoy tearing foes apart. I’ve seen it. You smile in that ring Scott. Do you regret it when it’s done? Or does that enjoyment carry over when you check into whatever fancy hotel you happen to check into? Does looking at yourself in the glass remind you what you have become? Do you see that what you are is just a sack of skin, doing what the wills of your pride is telling you? You are a broken man Scott Oasis. A man who has lost what he once was. You went so far as to challenge a god. Another spear tore your pride asunder. Broken. Battered. Defeated. The Iceman has retreated into his kingdom of solitude. The fortress stands unpenetrated.”


Eclipse grasped at one of the fishing hooks, tearing it free from the skin as the man screamed in agony, his body writhing on instinct which tore a few more of the fish hooks from his flesh. Eclipse seemed to distance himself from the screams, heading towards the sound of bubbling. Resting atop the stove was a pot of boiling oil. The kind used to fry foods of all sorts. A few pieces of shrimp were inside of it, finishing their cooking to a beautiful golden brown crust. Eclipse watched them for a moment before lifting the pot off the stove, sloshing the liquid slightly before laughing to himself as he moved back towards the hooked man. He quickly grabbed a fork, spearing one of the shrimp as he set the pot down on top of the man’s back. The skin sizzled for a moment, the hot iron burning the flesh. The man opened his mouth to scream but Eclipse silenced it by stuffing the shrimp into his mouth.


“Shut up. Be silent. Scott, you aren’t going to intimidate me. You never have and you never will. Because to intimidate me, I have to be mystified by you. I have to question who you are. I have to ponder who you are. Why you do the things that you do. Why you act the way that you act and why you are what you are. I don’t question you. I have no questions for you. I already figured out everything about you. The one that has answers, need not fear the questions. I don’t fear you. Fear is the true power that you hold. Your latest domination has scared the world, for you have showed them the power that you hold over them. You are strong, Oasis. You are strong but you aren’t strong enough to stop me. My path is to achieve the very thing you lost, and to achieve it from the very man you lost. You understand that? I’m going to destroy the last bit of your pride, and I’m going to watch you writhe against the ground. I’m going to watch you scream in rage...and my hand will be outstretched to you Oasis. Your suffering doesn’t need to be the last thing you have in your life Oasis. I can help you. Embrace the darkness. Let it consume you, for it will drown out all of your anger, dissolve all of your agony. It will soothe you, Oasis. If you’ll let it.


Or don’t. Let yourself writhe. It doesn’t matter to me Scott. It never has. I am going to do what I’ve always done in EAW. I am going to run through you, because my path cuts through you. He lifted the pot off the back of the fish hooked man, sighing to himself as he looked at the crying man. He tilted the pot, the oil splashing onto the man’s back first, before sliding up to his neck. The man writhed and screamed in agony as his flesh peeled away, burning instantly as the oil soaked into the pores. Eclipse continued to move the pot, until the liquid was poured into the man's mouth, the oil burning the throat and cooking the meat of the inside of the man's throat. The steam clogged all oxygen, silencing his screams as he writhed further, tearing more hooks from his flesh before his writhing ceased altogether. Nothing. The smell of off meat filled Eclipse’s nose and he looked towards the window of his home, listening to the sound of crows flapping as they headed towards his windowsill. They could smell his latest kill. His eyes moved back along to the disfigured body of what was once a child predator, a man who had spent his life ruining the lives of children that didn’t know any better. Eclipse felt his hand clench against the knife in his left hand, felt the give as it pierced into the burned flesh that was once the throat of the man. He felt it cut away until he could pull the esophagus free with the flat end of the blade. It smelled cooked. Not burned. Just...nearly to that point. He ran his tongue against his teeth before biting down onto the fleshy tube, chewing for a few moments before swallowing it down and smirking.

“Why did I do it your honor? For honor, your honor. And by the tears sliding down the cheek of the Madonna. You can still my dignity but still it lives in me for honor. Oasis. Are you scared yet?”

The camera opens on a black and white shot of the interior of Bo and Tye's Pizzeria. Pizza Boy sits backward in a chair facing away from the table with his forearms resting on the back of the seat.

"So I'm small? Pfft! Alert the presses.

You think that I haven't been torn apart and sewn back together already on countless occasions? You think that I'm somehow under the delusion that I'm 8 feet tall and bullet proof? Haven't you been paying attention? I've shown you every scrape, every contusion, every protrusion, every swollen joint and socket that makes up this pizza flinging monster. I've had more concussions than birthdays at this juncture in my career and I've barely been doing this for two years.  And it's not like I came into this place a pompous little millennial-minded narcissist.  I spent the first year of my career running, and every time I ran the world caught up to me and delivered a blow far worse than what I would have suffered if I had stood and fought.  So what'd I do? I fought.  I fought and I won.  I won gold, I won respect, I won experience and confidence in my ability to take down some hulking brute that knows little more than 'smash' and 'maim'.  I didn't get the EAW National Title by playing it safe, Rattik.  I payed for it with elbow grease.  I payed with my back, I paid with my health.  Blood, sweat, tears, they've all become my legal tender to get to where I am today.  I've been humbled and spit on.  I've been beaten and left for dead.  I've been cut open with fists and the very title around my waist by men like you, men greater than you, who tried to show me my place as the comedy relief on the card."

Pizza Boy plops the EAW National Championship over the back of the chair next to his elbow.  He smiles at it and then looks back into the camera with a stoic and frigid gaze replacing the look of contentment that was once present.  He slaps the face of the belt.

"This says otherwise though.  This says I'm the fledgling face of the industry.  This is my ticket to the top and my passport to legitimacy all wrapped up into one.  Two times I've held this belt, Rattik.  That means I lost it once, granted in a 3 on 1 assault, and then went back and corrected the asterisk in the record books.  I may be small in stature my friend, but I'm more than skin and bones.  These muscles are bound tighter to my form than pepperoni skin.  Simply put I'm more than some little man trope for you to look down on.  I've not only beaten a reigning world champion, but I've also played road block to future EAW Championship holders.  I might not be as technically savvy as some, I might not be as tall as some, and I might not be as much of as a blue chipper as some, but there have been a lot of men who had to go through me to get to that next level and not all of them were 'vanilla midgets'.  So you just go ahead and put that 'little man' bullshit back in your pocket where it belongs because around here I've become the gate keeper of the upper echelon, the defender of the brand against oncoming hordes of bandits and rogues, and the legitimizer of future legends.  You? You're just another mental patient who wandered in off of the street looking for three hots and a cot after being released from a charter facility.  You're not the first I've ran up on, and you probably wont be the last, but like all of the rest I'm sure this is the last time we'll be seeing one another after I dispatch of you like the rest of the drooling bums looking for a quick paycheck and a train to hop.  You try and act all scary, but when I see guys like you all I see is a fear of responsibility.  You're just some prize fighter schlub who doesn't want the pressure of being a man, some street dog to whom win or losses mean nothing as long as you get paid to be violent. I mean, I don't want to be the type to immediately go to dick size as a source of frustration, but you certainly are fixated on size mattering.  As a drop out psych major, that strikes me as a bit Freudian...but again, I'm a drop out psych major."

Pizza Boy gives the camera sort of a funny self-aware gaze before picking up the National title without looking and slinging it over his shoulder.

"I'd wager you don't even want this pretty little lady.  Not really anyway.  Odds are a drifter like you would sooner pawn or scrap it before defending it because that's what comes easy.  This beauty isn't easy.  Three guys already tried to rope her into an orgy after screwing me while she was forced to watch, so I helped her kiss them on the forehead and sent them packing.  You're no Drake, Jones, or Judas, much less all three combined into some insane three headed monster.  They wanted her.  Sure, their reasons were impure, but at least they really wanted her.  Same goes for Nico, who wanted to get her into some kinky missionary pseudo-masochism stuff, but again I was willing to defend my bride and quell the burning passion of her suitors.  But you? You're just some dumb oaf who wants to play with my blood and jump rope with my innards.  There's no desire in you to be anything more than a loopy little cuss who would rather wear me as a skin suit than this title.  That's why I gotta put'cha down like all the rest.  You're not feral, you're just one of those big dumb dogs who thinks he's playing when he rips a baby's arm off.  You kind of have to pity an animal like that but they get their lives cut short anyway due to misunderstanding and dimwit mentality on level with 'Of Mice and Men'.  I guess that's really my problem going into this match.  I don't really care to hurt you because you're clearly just trying to pet the rabbits, but sometimes George just has to tell Lenny to look at the flowers and pull the trigger before the dumb oaf gets in too deep.  So, sorry I guess.  I hate to free you of your delusion you nutty nut job you.  You're the planter's peanut guy you're so nutty.  I might bring you a cane and monocle and a...top hat-look I'm getting way off base here.  I guess what I'm trying to say is what I've told you already.  You don't know me.  You don't know who I am, what I had to go through, and what I had to become to get this lusty little minx of a belt around my waist...or...on my shoulder in this instance.  We're getting too tied up in the trivial details here so let's just try and put this on  a level you might understand."

Pizza Boy turns back to the table.  He grabs a big bottle of ketchup and stands it next to a small salt shaker.  He pulls a marker out of his pocket and starts righting the word 'You' on the ketchup.  He points at the shaker, and then at himself.  He then condescendingly nods toward the title on his shoulder and points at the salt shaker.  He then slaps over the ketchup bottle with the title, picks up the salt shaker, and starts drilling it into the middle of the ketchup bottle as ketchup comes out of it's reservoir.  He dips his finger in the ketchup, licks it off of his finger, and then holds the salt shaker over his head victoriously.

Zack Crash:  Really?  Is that the best you got Lioncross?  Is that really all you got to say regarding myself, OMERTA, and our match this week?  Wow!  Just wow.  Trust me, you’re not the only who is confused.
 
If I didn’t know any better, I’d say you weren’t taking this match seriously enough.  If you’re the best that Matty can get for his team, then he seriously needs to reevaluate his recruitment process.  If this is all the effort you’re going to throw into this match, then you might as well just hand me and Mr. Chambers the victory now to avoid wasting everyone’s time.  At least Matty, despite his many flaws, is taking this match seriously.  But you, you throw out the bare minimum effort just to meet your quota, and walk away thinking you got a chance, thinking people will actually pay attention to your words, thinking anyone gives a shit…thinking it wasn’t disrespectful?  Hell, I couldn’t even think of a clever and symbolic location to film my promo after that, so I’m going to have to stick with this generic bullshit.  Thanks a lot.  It’s just lucky that I’m not like you Lioncross, cuz if it were up to me I wouldn’t even bother with your sorry ass after that pathetic attempt at a promo.  But when I face off against any opponent, either in the ring or in words, I always give them my maximum effort…even if they don’t deserve it like you.  You say you weren’t paying attention to me while I was on Dynasty, which is ok because I had no idea who you were until you won Cash In The Vault.  Seriously the winner was announced and I was like…who?  Admittedly you might have held my attention afterwards, since being a former CITV winner I tend to give those guys special focus.  But then you had to go and lose your contract briefcase, at which point I totally wrote you off.  If you can’t even hold onto a briefcase, how can you possibly be expected to hold onto a championship.  When I was Mr. CITV I didn’t have to go to such lengths to protect my briefcase because I never lost it.  I just used it the same night to become World Heavyweight Champion.  So if I were you I wouldn’t criticize my failings.  At least I managed to takeover EAW and hold onto it for longer than 3 seconds.  But I digress.
 
I don’t want to talk about that.  Instead I want to focus on two key points Lioncross made.  Firstly, I made the oh so original (I’m being sarcastic) insult that I must be a failure because I lost to/at (insert person/event here).  And it’s getting to a point where its not only annoying that nobody seems to have any kind of better insults for me, but also infuriating because it just further drives home the point that EAW has become more a popularity contest than anything.  Let me ask you something, you know who Mr. DEDEDE is right?  Legend, Hall Of Famer, the guy who everyone refers to as The Gawd, the person who everyone considers to be the best ever right?  You know him don’t ya?  He’s also a former Chairman Of EAW, you remember that to right?  I say former…because I took that job from him.  The Gawd, the supposed greatest ever…lost to me.  But does ANYBODY keep throwing that in his face?  Do people say…

No.  And you wanna know why?  Because just like in high school, if you’re the popular jock everyone makes excuses for all the shitty things you do.  But god forbid if you’re unpopular, because then you’ll have everything you say or do constantly thrown in your face by assholes who are essentially just sheep following whatever is trendy so they can sound like “smart marks”.  That’s what EAW has become.  I’m unpopular here because I speak the truth, and I do things to ensure EAW continues down the correct path I started as Chairman.  Some people don’t like this, so they continually try to think of ways to discredit me.  Only now they’re so desperate that the only ammo they have left is the “you lose a lot” bullet.  Are people criticizing Brian or Cyclone after they just lost the Tag Team Titles?  Because in EAW, if they like you all they focus on is your victories and forget your loses, and if they don’t like you, then apparently you’re losing every week, even if you just came off a victory where you burnt half a man’s face off.  Well let me assure you I don’t care if you like me or not.  I’m not doing this because I want gratification or glorification.  I’m doing it because it’s right.  And a true man does what he can for the sake of what he loves, even when he gets no thanks for it…even if he’s hated for it. 
 
And speaking of doing the right thing, this brings me to Point Number 2 I wish to focus on.  Lioncross called my “club” a stepping stone for guys like JJ, Terry, and Scott.  I’m curious as to where the insult is in that remark Lioncross.  In my mind you couldn’t give my organization a better compliment.  Confused?  I’m sure you are, because this is why guys like you and DDD have no vision for the future.  Let me first promise that JJ is still fully loyal and committed to OMERTA.  He is simply taking time off to deal with the injuries he incurred by that assault of Damien Murrow’s lackeys.  But lets pretend for a moment that Mr. Silva did “graduate” as you put, and moved on from OMERTA.  Don’t you think there is an investment there?  Don’t you think JJ would remember who helped give him his start, that he’d remember who was loyal to him before all others, and don’t you think he’d be willing to help me out when I needed it because of that?  See guys like you Lioncross are so fixated on yourselves that you don’t see the profit or value in investing in others.  But I do, and others see it as well.  It’s how I convinced Mr. Chambers to join us.  It’s how I’m managing to recruit new members day, after day, after day…after day…after day.  OMERTA is on the decline you say?!  Then tell me what it is you saw last Showdown Lioncross, because from where I was standing, I saw Mr. Murrow running away like a little pussy, while my army came in and made his security force look like a bunch of ass-hats.  So tell me how exactly that fits the definition of being on the “decline”?
 
Look this is all really simple in the end.  OMERTA is not on any sort of decline; rather it’s on a rise.  But this is exactly what everyone fears.  EAW has always been afraid of me and what I can do; always has and always will be.  Only now they’re even more afraid because I've created an organization that no longer answers to any authority within this company.  Outing me from power as Chairman is going to end up being the worst mistake this company every made, because all they really did was free my hands from the bureaucracy that could’ve slowed me down, and they could’ve used to monitor me.  My power is slowly growing and it won’t be long before I control everything on Showdown.  The only question then will be who will have a job…and who will not.  So if you still to even be capable of cashing in with that briefcase before the year is out Lioncross, I suggest you rethink which side you’re on.  Because Matty isn’t capable of overcoming my control and power.  He wasn’t able to do it at Dia Del Diablo, and he is less able to do it now with his new unhinged mind.  But you don’t have to take my word for it.  By all means wait until Showdown this week when you step into the ring with myself and Mr. Chambers.  You’ll see for yourself how unqualified Matty is to be a leader.  And while you watch as me and Terry move like a well-oiled machine, while we systematically rip you both apart, you can ask yourself if this is the man you want to lead you into the battlefield that is War Games.  This Showdown is going to be a moment of clarity for you Lioncross.  
 
Until then however, if you feel the need to open your mouth again, might I suggest you put a bit more effort into.  Otherwise, just shut up and don’t waste my precious time.

This was pretty funny. For some one who spent time this week accusing me of putting words in her mouth and getting furious at me for it, she does the same. German Efficiency is your belief, Sheridan, and you embrace it. I don’t deny that it exists for you. I don’t deny that it drives you personally and makes you better. Challenging you to a match, feels like challenging German Efficiency because you embody everything about what you have defined it to be. I don’t challenge that exists, not for you. You believe it exists, and that’s all that matters. I believe I function amazingly well as a wrestler without having to adopt any such thing. I never said you don’t know efficiency. That, you came up with as a fairytale in your mind. It’s almost like you’re forcing yourself to create new reasons to get mad at me. You speak in facts, right? I’ll give you some truth. Aria and I were good as a tag team before anyone tried to attach the word Formation to it. Did we naturally play off the name the times we tagged and it was attached? Obviously. Stephanie thought it would be neat to start this group with her friends. It was the typical stable like you see these days. Not like a Hexa-Gun or Sanatorium or not even like Cerberus. The idea was that when we did fight together, we would have a theme song and all that fun stuff, right? But if someone were to read what you say, it would sound as if the Formation lost every single match it ever competed in. Well that’s not true. Also not a fact, Tarah being in Formation. You sorta mentioned that one and I didn’t even bring it up. But no, Tarah was never in Formation. I was a “member” of Formation. But I was never full into it. Listen I’m not trying to treat you like an idiot here, I’m just explaining this to you as carefully as I can. Formation was an interesting idea. My name got thrown into the mix by Stephanie. But I was never rah rah waving the Formation flag and getting excited about all that. You know well that I have a certain feeling about getting involved in these kinds of things. You talk about politics a lot. When they signed me to EAW they told me I was going to join Iconomy. They pushed me there and said figure out how they operate and do that. It failed because I do better on my own then I do in groups. It’s not I’m not a team player, but I prefer to fight for me more than I do the team. There was also a while weird power struggle thing with those boys in Iconomy and them getting mad that I was winning and they weren’t but that’s besides the point. Physically I was a part of Formation. You’re right. It’s obvious. The past you so dearly cast aside and say we shouldn’t talk about proves that. Mentally, it wasn’t for me. I played along with some of that whole idea for my friends. But honestly, I can only think of three, maybe four times in that three to four month stretch that I fought in a match and we were labeled as being the Formation. In fact, the last time we fought, even with all the reported drama from the outside, we tore the Sanatorium. And then Stephanie joined them. Honestly, I don’t know why I’m bothering to explain this to you. Yours was a third-person perspective of this whole period of my life that made me quirk a brow and just laugh. Not at you, just at whatever you were attempting to do. Because you always talk about now, but here you are trying to use Formation as some way to… tear me down I guess? That feels like ancient history to me. And right after I mentioned how I found it funny that Cameron tried to focus on past failures alone to build some sort of psychological advantage over me, you are somehow trying to do something similar? Or were you just searching for more plot points so you could get me with a few more verbal punches? I can’t predict what you were trying to do, I can just tell you that it really doesn’t bother me. I mean these groups were mistakes, but they made me better. They made me who I am right now. And that’s more dedicated to training and improving my craft. A lot of people will walk into a wrestling career and pretend they were the best from Day 1. Some will even say they were graced with such natural talent that they were destined for greatness from the start. But I believe the legends are made, not created. I believe the best separate themselves from what they do when they’re preparing to get in the ring. Not just in the ring. We win some, we lose some, but ultimately it comes down to response. You can wilt and go away, or you can get your ass back up and go back to the drawing board. I was told long ago that I would never make in this business if I didn’t understand how to turn a negative into something positive. Everything from losses to title changes to mistakes, I learned from it all. And now I’m here facing someone who says I’m talking down to them if I don’t agree with every word that comes out of her mouth. I’ve fought this battle before and learned from it before. You criticize me without right or credential. Yet I just speak to you plainly. I’m not even bashing your lifestyle. You’re just conceiving it as that on your own. You’re reaching for something, but I can’t pretend I know exactly what that is.
 
You know I’m not fine with all aspects of what happen in the wrestling world today. But I am prepared to fight for my spot. That’s part of evolution and adapting. If you can’t grow in the atmosphere that exists and learn how to control all you can within it, then the revolution you mean to start is never possible anyways. You know this. You’ve adapted as well as you could despite the phrase Sports Entertainment. You and I both work hard to make damn sure nothing is ever easy for our opponents. We make them have to wrestle to beat us. They can’t just fly around and wave to the ground and do booty shakes or what not. They can’t just post about us on the feed for the extent of a week and expect to come out and find some unprepared idiot standing there and staring at them with a weird expression. In some ways I think people like me and you, maybe a few others, have outgrown what can be offered inside just this division. I’ve been branched out in the past to fight a few of the ones that call themselves Elitists, and quite successfully. There are men in this company that you would tear apart, too. But in this division alone there are people who want to run the show and call the shots. You are extremely passionate about making this division pure. But you can at least admit to yourself that the goal is hard when there are people in this division that will never change anything about themselves. They will always be the same vile bitches they are right now. That will never change. I don’t let these people hold me back. I know they won’t change, so the only way to deal with these types of people is to move past them. You beat them and you move on to the next step. To be obsessed with changing someone like them would be a terrible mistake. It would only bring you down when you are determined to keep yourself built up. Maybe I am owed a Specialist’s title show again. And I mentioned as much in messages after Grand Rampage. But there answers to me were “Here, fight for it in this Fatal Fourway,” and “Here, fight in this wacky match at Pain for Pride with 10 people.” I didn’t whisper my thoughts about it. But I didn’t waste time arguing on the feed with Haruna about it, either. And for the ninth time this week, you are not a robot. You are not a machine. But… I understand how people perceive you that way. If you misunderstand this once again, I can’t help but continue to laugh at it. I probably understand you more than most. People call our messages boring and repetitive, and then they take losses to us. And I’m not calling your lifestyle idiotic. Deep down inside my heart, I know I have everything it takes to beat you. My determination, which you mock more than I ever have German Efficiency this week, is one of the major reasons I’ve experienced any kind of success here. There is no truth of yours I need to accept. Cailin Dillon is not a lie or a fallacy. You give me credit for my ability as a wrestler, and then you take it away in the same breath as you discredit me. That just doesn’t make a lot of sense, and I think you’d struggle to find anyone who didn’t read the back and forth way you do that and just say, huh? You’re a very intelligent person. But you do attack people for doing things that you also do yourself. I don’t need to argue about that with you, because it’s something you won’t admit. It’s something you’ll turn around in such a petty way and call a lie or say I did it first. That’s the reason why we only do this for a portion of the week and then we solve it all in the ring. If there’s a problem between us, I’ll solve it. You can bring all your German Efficiency into the ring and boast about the power it gives you. And then you can act like the match didn’t happen after I win and move on to the next match in this tournament. After all, this tournament doesn’t really mean all that much to you. Or it does.
 
You say I speak a lot of words that hold no meaning and are pointless. But few would really feel that way. It exists as your way to deflect from the fact that this battle of words has been very close this week. It’s been very tight. These words mean more than you think. While they serve mostly to hype up a match, our match is about to be the most talked about during this whole tournament. People have seen what we’ve done this week and their eyes have been wide. They have been shocked at the excitement the two of us have brought. I would ask why the shock and awe. Sheridan and I have been the two most exciting wrestlers on this roster for a long time. Most of the others have just been playing the role of actor or actress on a stage show. I’ve been going out there to fight. And it isn’t because of German Efficiency. It’s because it’s who I am. And you can hate me talking about my background when I do, but you talk about Germany way more than I ever bring up Texas. Thanks for the credit on the name Ms. Müller. I’ll have you know that plenty of people call me Caitlin. It is annoying. I messed up your name, and it was an honest mistake. But no more. Sadly, people will still mess up your name and most will do it on purpose. For petty reason? Of course. But see while you think I’m just standing over you and treating you like a child, I’m actually not doing any of that. There is a great deal of respect from me towards how you work and what you have done here. I know that when we first fought I didn’t understand why you were doing the things you were doing or saying them. But now I understand. Just like I’m fighting for me and what I want, you’re fighting for the same for yourself. That’s no rocket science. And it’s how everyone should fight. But they don’t.
 
I got a bit of a Rocky V vibe from what you said to me this time. Except you aren’t Russian at all, so that was weird. When you are leading this division we will follow your rule or we will die! We will perish and our souls will burn in the pit below where German Efficiency rules us all! Such a terrific little dictator you must make in your dreams. You have attempted to form a world where no one can use the word efficient without you pointing and jumping up and down like a zoo monkey. You hear the word and you point. They’re saying it because of you, right? You took a pretty common word and adopted it like you are one of the ones who was there at the adoption of the word as official language. You know, I think I fight very efficiently in my matches and I don’t think it has anything to do with you. I think if you ever become champion you will try to implement changes and rules and everything will be exactly as it is right now. And eventually you will lose, that momentum behind the one-woman revolution will cease to exist and you’ll be back to spouting off the same stuff again. Next time you win, you will really start it. The division wasn’t ready for German Efficiency yet. That’s the image I have spinning up inside of my head and unless you somehow prove me wrong, it will never change. I have faith in you that you can ascend to the top and become a champion. I do not have faith that you will ever have the power over the people who still make the decisions for you. I don’t think being a champion in EAW comes with as much power as you perceive it to. I feel you trying to control things and trying to pull and tug at my strings and make move around like I’m your little toy. But see, my strings were cut long ago when JJ Silva was trying to tell me what to do. And no one else will ever control what I do, say or think. You can’t tell me you are waiting for this division to be ready for German Efficiency and then say you aren’t ready. You can’t operate a revolution all on your own. If anything that would be the least efficient way to try to revolutionize something. These things take followers and numbers. They don’t happen with just one person. Especially not when you have so many people who will never get in line and I promise you they won’t just go away. And the sink of swim theory isn’t new to wrestling, and especially not new to EAW. That’s why so many people come and go. This Empress tournament is packed to the brim with new faces. This division won’t have 24 people come 2017. It just won’t happen. You say we’re not alike at all? I’ve never missed a beat. Look back, go ahead. I’ve worked more dates than you in the time we’ve both been in this company. I’ve never asked for time off. I’ve fought pretty much every week, and often two and three times a week. You can’t deny that. Those are facts.
 
I’m not pouting about the Vixens Cup stuff. It just amuses me that you build yourself up, you talk all this talk and yet you still save it because we aren’t ready. Go ahead, see your perfect plan through. That’s yours to do with as you please. I will see my own plan through and I will become the Empress of Elite. I don’t care how stupid you think this tournament is. I don’t care how worthless you think this is compared to the Vixens cup you’ve already won. I will take this tournament and then I will go to Road to Redemption and I will win that match no matter who they stick in front of me. I don’t even care to troll people with a cash-in and mess around. The most efficient way I can become champion is to win this and then win that match at RTR. That’s exactly what I will do. This match will be about this week and this week alone. Admit it, we’re going to do this over and over again in the future. We’re too good not to continually meet. In fact, it’s amazing we’ve only fought twice to this point. We’re about to tear the house down on Dynasty. We’re about to have a match people will still be talking about after this match is done. And they only gave us 20 minutes to do it. That in itself is a shame. It only means we have to come with more intensity and more fire from the very start of this match. I’m more than prepared to do that. I’m more than ready to win. German Efficiency might be what drives Sheridan Müller, but Cailin Dillon is what drives me and that’s what will win this match. I’m not here to become Empress this week. I’m here to win the next match that’s in front of me. I’m here to beat Sheridan. After that, I’ll focus on the next one. Everything else will take care of itself when it comes. I will wrestler you to the very end on Friday and this match will be just as you hope, superior to all others. And the superior wrestler will win in the end. Surprise, it won’t be Sheridan Müller.
