I'm staying put but....

Bad New Barrett will not re-sign a new deal with the WWE. His current deal runs through June and there's no word on if he's going to still wrestle at all. Still just a rumor but I've been a fan of him and would hate to see him go, even if he never became that main event guy. 

This bothers me. Wade was a huge part of the company in 2010/early 2011 because of Nexus and his feud with John Cena along with others. He was honestly seen by many at that time as a future world champion and overall major asset to the company because of his in ring talent and mic skills. That man is great at what he does to say the least. I really wish WWE didn't drop the ball with him and send him into so many oddball gimmicks. Hope he doesn't hang his boots up for good.

I like Wade, loved his work in the Nexus, but honestly after what happened with MVP and Mr.Kennedy, guys hyped up to be the next Rock and Stone Cold, I've never considered anyone's path in WWE secured unless they get the Roman Reign's push.

IF this is the end of Barrett wrestling, so be it. Nobody's obligated to beat themselves up for our entertainment. If he thinks it's best for his health or has nothing else he'd rather pursue in the industry, all the best to him.

If he wants to continue, I'd honestly like to see him move to New Japan and join one of the factions there. Wouldn't mind seeing him as Omega's right hand man in Bullet Club (a position that seems to be wide open right now) or come in as a new foreigner ace for CHAOS.

LU would be cool too, if only to see his segments. I never thought of Barrett as being World Champion material but he was a guy who definitely has had some bad luck and horrible booking go against him on the way.

I feel like Barrett's style would fit in well with NJPW. Barrett vs. Shibata or Barrett vs. Ishii He'd be great in LU also I'm sure.

I don't blame him for wanting to leave tbh. I used to be a huge Wade Barrett fan until they gave him the BNB gimmick. Hopefully he goes somewhere his talent is actually appreciated.

Nothing against the guy himself, but his stint and presence character-wise grew very dislikable to me ever since they decided to overmilk the Nexus angle with Corre. Granted, his BnB gimmick was a step in the right direction of him mounting up a respectable degree of relevancy; he was entertaining, for once. Still, even that gimmick grew stale and was eventually diminished upon the inception of the League of Nations bs. So ye, I think it's smart on his part to take his leave out of the company before they have him job to Ryback on a weekly basis or be Bo Rida's producer.

Not surprised with how poorly they've used him. Even when he wins titles he still loses every week and is always made to look like a paper champ despite his bareknuckle fighting background. I hope he goes to NJPW because I can definitely see him doing great things there with Gallows and Machine Gun leaving.
