| You know who didn't do anything in the war? The Irish. So basically, the Irish supported Hitler. So you tell us, Demon. |

| Jesus never called himself "The King of Jews."
It was a title given to him by his own people that wanted him falsely executed. They wanted him to admit blasphemies in order for it to happen which went successfully.
In fact though Jesus is the King of all nations. He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
Now to answer the second part of your question. You should already know that this world is wicked and it will only grow, which is also in scripture. People die every day wrongfully, even in the Bible. (See Cain vs. Abel for those that know the story) We also have to understand that death is apart of life. That's why its important for us to repent and acknowledge Jesus in all ways. Because you may never know when your time is up. |

| I'm no expert on these philosophies being made up, "Pascal Wager," which seem to be people that are in-between their faith towards God. You can probably elaborate on that more.
It's clearly something that I'm not. I live by scriptures daily and know that "faith in God" is what really pleases him. Also how it changed my life. I don't want any loose vibes here though because I know some of you refuse to believe. |

| Pascal's Wager uses probability theory to lead to the idea that belief in God (infinite gain if God exists, no real loss if God doesn't exist) is a better option than disbelief (no real gain if God doesn't exist, infinite loss if God does exist). Blaise Pascal attributed this to the Christian God, although people of many religions and belief systems have used it as a way to encourage belief in the existence of their respective deity (or plural, depending on whom). That's the only point of it: to encourage belief in existence.
It's a philosophy that boils belief in a deity down to the most basic of levels, and for that reason, it doesn't hold much water for anybody who's even fairly steadfast in his or her religious beliefs, whether theist or atheist. In a vacuum, this philosophy may encourage belief, but I'd bet that everybody here has personal reasons for their religious beliefs, whether it be what they grew up with, what they've learned, what they've experienced, and more. That fact alone makes our personal mentalities, as different as they are, more complex than the assumptions made by Pascal's Wager. Pascal's Wager, personally, has nothing to do with my faith in Jesus, and I didn't see elements of it in HBB's post.
I'm no expert, but this one was a sitting duck I figured I'd shoot. |
