I do a bit of research on my opponents first and everything would pop up into my mind. I also have to remember "Nobi is an arrogant asshole individual" because I don't want Nobi to be like Doni Prasdana (who was pretty much a "White Knight Underdog Hero")

If my opponents promo first then I'll read their promos first of course. If my opponents promo first, things would be easier TBH. Well, at least for me lol.

Sometimes when I really have no idea what to say I would read manga or listening to real wrestlers' promos (such as The Million Dollar Man, Edge, Dusty Rhodes, Mick Foley, Ric Flair, etc) to get the feeling.

I personally like to start the back & forth between myself and my opponent.

Before I start writing, I would then turn on any song that fit my character to get into the mood or even listening to a Shoot Promo from MiSu (Minoru Suzuki), Shibata, Satoshi Kojima or other Japanese Wrestlers

I like to sit down for 5-6 days and think of a good excuse as to why I couldn't promo

I find usually the best thing to do right before writing a promo is click on the 'New Topic' button.

But seriously, maybe pop on some music, have a ganders at the card and then let it flow

I listen to songs by Fall Out Boy and Panic! At The Disco to get in the 'Nova Zone' and I just start going off. Either music or I listen to promos by Jon Moxley/Dean Ambrose, CVE, Seth Rollins but mostly CM Punk's. He gives me great Ideas♥

I have watched a few Rock promos before my own. "Big Shocker". I also like just generally listening to music with a faster beat, so that I can think and type away at a quick pace as well. I think better or at least quicker that way :/
