Well to my speculation, ever since he came here he hasn't really been used much for anything until his stint with Nas (which didn't last long) every time he gets a chance to get booked (since it was rare to see him booked anyways) he works extremely hard. Since the road to TI Aren was finally doing something working with Tyler Parker and everything and now everything he has been going through and all the hard work he put into it he has finally won his second championship. |

| For starters, I would heavily disregard Aren as one of the Underrated guys because trust me, I can grasp a reason as to why you would classify him under such class. Sure, he may be silent in the chat or forums. Si, he may have not been promoing under a consistent basis. Despite those two things, if he was to emerge as an active promoer, he would be one of the top guys in here. I have known Aren for three years (back in FWE), so I know how he engages himself in his promos. Trust me, he's a good kid.
As for the Top 5, underrated, I would also like to classify the word, underrated, because it has appeared to be an overused term in today's system.
Underrated - having undervalued attention, importance, and work rate (as far as EAW goes)
Now for my Top 5:
1. Hades 2. Jacob Senn 3. Moonlight Predator 4. Jamie O'Hara 5. Matt Miles |

| Given that Aren has beaten Crash and Cage for tag titles and just won his HUGE battle against Tyler Parker, I don't think he's underrated at all |

| It's these types of moments when I am reminded how much people put over their boy crushes and illogicality over any kind of meritocracy and logic. What do you mean "if" Aren would have emerged as an active promoer he'd be one of the top guys here and si he may not have been promoing under a consistent basis. He is an active promoer, and up until now he's been on preshows and was wandering aimlessly without a storyline until he disrespected Tyler, ever since his partner had left, and when his partner returned they seemed to have been on the same level of important status in EAW. Before he won the NE title, who in the blue hell ever talked about Aren before this week? Jacob Senn and Hades are world champions, Jacob got to bring a world title from another efed and began a champion of all efeds gimmick. Matt Miles has storylines, defeats EAW big names, was put into that big cage match with AA which I'm pretty sure he won and was named a thousand times on the most promising future thread. Jamie has been praised since coming to EAW, even in July he was getting multiple most promising in the top five and he's one of the fastest rising people in EAW on Voltage. Everyone knows he is a epic GFX guy and promoer. MP left when he was on the cusp of becoming world champion, got to come back with a winning streak and is on that upper midcard level ready to make the jump to the main event at any moment. Right where he should be. |

| I personally consider myself more overrated than underrated given the talk around me. Anyways, it's subjective regardless. Don't think there's much debate to who is and who's not underrated. |

| I have to agree with Jamie here... ratings are such a subjective thing. It's to each of their own. But I won't take that cop out, completely, for there definitely are people under-appreciated here in EAW.
For one, I think Zack Crash/Psycho Brody is under-appreciated for his work with two amazing characters and being able to promo actively for both. Stuff like that shouldn't be swept under the rug. But it does not go without notice in my eyes, and when it's all said and done, Crash may be the most under-appreciated mainevent talent in history. And always promoing from a library, again, who else would have that drive to not do that for just one week, one month... but for your entire "efedding career". Not a lot of people other than writers give Crash/Brody his due in this regard.
But I also feel Lucian Black and William Black... the Black's, their promoing ability has been overlooked. Sure, GC has some history and what not, but that should not stain what's been an awesome run, and he's one of the few who has actually progressed from year's past in terms of promoing. And I'll say this right now, William Black is the diamond in the rough, the superstar you didn't see coming. I'm not hyping him up just because I'm a Co-Showdown writer, legit, nobody speaks about this guy, and it's probably due to not being a chatroom cat, but it happens. Those are the two I see as underappreciated in terms of being overlooked, but I don't see that lasting too long.
I suppose that's three and I need to give two more... How about some love for Ryan Savage? He's been swept under the rug and passed over time and time again, even when he was a reigning champion. Is Savage a mainevent talent at this point of time - well, of course not. But why is it that Savage is the only one being ridiculed for as such when many are in the same boat? He's been given leftovers the past few months, even with trying hard and taking advice from any that's willing to give in the promo aspect. This isn't a Jon Kelton scenario who is just the same guy, year-after-year... Savage definitely deserves a fair opportunity going forward. So all-in-all, script wise, Savage has been overlooked. And that's without question.
One more, I'd love to give my other SD boys some love like Norman, Oasis, Aaron, Vic Vendetta, etc... but without a doubt, the other under-appreciated talent is EAW'S PIERRE MCGUIRE! WHO ELSE GIVES YOU BREAKING NEWS AND DEDICATED INSIGHT OTHER THAN THE ONE AND ONLY?! PIERRE IS PERSISTENT, HELL, HE SHOULD OF BEEN CAST IN "NIGHT CRAWLER" ...He always gets the interview he wants! One day you all will understand he'll go down as the best interviewer of all time. |
