I’m aware I’m a bit late to the party regarding all of the chaos that’s been going on in EAW, but bear with me.

I’ve argued with DEDEDE regarding this subject for quite a while now and recently just stopped due to how very clearly neither of us were going to understand the other side’s argument enough to accept it. I’m gonna try to make this all as clear cut as I possibly can and just sum up the decision I’ve made on all of it as Co-Chairman of EAW.

Regarding Brian, DEDEDE decided - due to Brian’s apparent participation in provoking others during this war of trash talking or whatever between he and whoever at Revolt and refusal to hash things out with Impact - that he’s exiled from EAW. Now I don’t give a shit about any trash talking he’s done or whatever he’s done to cause problems prior to all of this because in the end, both Ronn and Impact and whoever else equally participated without making an attempt to bring it to me so that I could resolve it while I’ve been blamed for NOT resolving it. I was only told what happened from one person, and that was Brian, and I did not simply punish the side against him, I warned both sides because they were both at fault in my eyes. I’ve been accused of being biased here because Brian, and even Sher, apparently got away with murder around here all because of me being associated with them. Whatever wrong Brian’s done that was truly on him, I scolded him for and told him to stop, such as the problem that occurred soon after we moved to Discord. Anything after that I was only informed of by Brian himself if any big fight broke out. I was not spoken to by Ronn or Impact or DEDEDE - I was not informed of anything from anyone who believes I’ve been looking the other way during every single instance of it. I was simply not present while it happened. Not to mention I do not run EAW on my own. DEDEDE is the Co-Chairman and was always free to take action, but apparently he felt he was just respecting my wishes by not doing anything all this time.

So in conclusion, in my defense, just to clear the air since I’m sure there’s plenty who believe I’m some corrupt asshole playing favorites - Brian was the only one to come to me about any ongoing issues and I left both sides at fault. Regarding Sher, I’m sure you’ve all been informed that I “made a deal” with her as to her mentioning Brody in promos. She briefly asked if Brody can be mentioned in promos and I said “I guess that’s fine as long as it’s tasteful”. Of course, it was a bad idea in hindsight because she took it too far and I accepted the blame for it and told DEDEDE that I probably misled her as to what she could actually say in-character. I personally thought she deserved to be punished and apologize to those she offended, but not fired. Despite that, even at the risk of being biased, I told DEDEDE it was his decision to make as to firing her or not, and he chose not to (apparently to honor my opinion on it). That’s all I have to say about that.

As far as the new punishments go, as I said, I blame both sides equally for participating in all of this petty trash talk and spying bullshit, and whatever else was going on. However, if Brian was given an opportunity to hash it out with Impact and Impact agreed to participate to it while Brian did not as DEDEDE has told me, then there’s nothing I can do there. Stark is an idiot and got himself fired for doing very stupid things and then proceeded to do even stupider things afterwards, so I have no objections whatsoever to his punishment.

I told DEDEDE a while back that I would not interfere with the punishments he issues, but perhaps I should have clarified that I will not interfere when it comes to those that are guilty and have something to be punished for. I will NOT sit back and allow people who have done nothing wrong to be threatened and punished for their association with a guilty party. This is not biasedness. This is not irrational defiance. This is me, as Co-Chairman and a leader of EAW, refusing to abide by something I simply do not believe in. People should be free to join whatever E-Fed they want regardless of how the person running it is viewed here. It does not affect us in the slightest when it comes down to it. These people are not choosing elsewhere in favor of EAW. They are not being led by Brian as if he’s a cult leader to hate and despise and trash EAW or Revolt and the people in it. These people wanted to join an E-Fed that sounded fun. I would never take away your right to participate in another E-Fed. That is something I will stand by no matter what the circumstances are. No matter who is behind whatever E-Fed. No matter what they’ve done to me or to EAW. They are no longer in EAW and that’s all that matters as far as I’m concerned. DEDEDE made the decision to give these people an ultimatum, and I am hereby telling them that as long as I’m a leader here along with him, they will not be punished for participating in another E-Fed. That is just wrong. I understand DEDEDE’s perspective on it as he’s explained it thoroughly to me, but it hasn’t changed how I feel about it in the slightest. People should be allowed to go wherever they want, and it will not hurt EAW. Punish those that have done wrong, don’t punish those who haven’t.

Consider this a prohibition on prohibitions. If you’ve taken actions that require punishment, you will be punished. You will not be forced to choose EAW over another E-Fed as punishment for someone else’s actions. This is simply what I believe, and I’m sorry if anyone thinks I’m an asshole for it. You’re free to think what you want. That is all.

Without making this a "back and forth" I will reply to the comments left here by reminding the general members of this fed/board this:

many of you have reached out to me from the time I set up my conditions as to remain far away from any fed being managed or participated in by Brian Daniels and/or Stark. Many of you told me your loyalty will lie with EAW and you will accept the conditions and keep pressing on for the purpose of meeting your own personal goals here, and most importantly to keep EAW a fun and productive environment.

Don't take this as a "mandate", but I would strongly, stroooongly urge you to keep that same exact energy. History is not on the side of people who cape for sworn enemies of me and sworn enemies of EAW, the deck is not stacked in the favor of THAT side. Do the smart thing, continue about your regular day, do not cave into the peer pressure of CERTAIN PEOPLE who are undoubtedly in many an ear, and carry on as usual.

I will pledge my loyalty to EAW.... mainly because no other fed wants me. 


But for a person that has been extremely confused over the past couple of weeks (Sher, Brian, etc), I do appreciate the communication and I also appreciate the freedom provided for other individuals to do as they please as long as it doesn't become a big issue, after all, we should all be able to be civil. Now lets all have fun, but not too much fun. Lets keep this place nice, and clean, and free of sexual deviants. Don't look at me like that, Carlos.

At this point, the best course of action is to allow the dust to settle. The people at the center of all of this are gone; from the perspective of both sides. The people who stayed are here because they genuinely want to be here. There isn't a need to prolong the tension or unsettling feeling, nobody at any point should make someone feel unwelcome, feel uneasy or be treated poorly because their mates were on another side. And nobody should feel threatened or feel like their place - in the community, their characters, whatever - is under scrutiny because of the people they became mates with loooong before any of this happened. 

Anyone who is enough of a dumb cunt to start this again - no matter what side they were or are on - deserves the boot.

Honestly, most of the behind the scenes crap, this person hanging out with that person, talking shit about that person, etc etc. doesn't mean diddly shit to me.

What does mean something to me is this place and the people in it. For the past month or so, this is the most fractured and vulnerable EAW has been and it starts at the top. I have a great amount of respect for the two co-chairmen of this place, but right now EAW needs a strong, unified leadership that is steering the ship in the same direction. If you two and the rest of the board have settled things among yourselves and everything is fine, that's great. If not, please hash out whatever differences you have and keep things stable.
