Comeback of the Year = Someone who came back and what they did following their return.

Return of the Year = Someone's actual return, such as LC and Imp's returns at the Grand Rampage.

There's something very strange between Comeback and Return. One either did not always exist, or they were used interchangeably or perhaps one was an unofficial term a noob used, either way there is something that isn't consistent.

Alright since this has been an issue for awhile I decided to investigate my emails because I find it consistently popping up annoying, and I discovered that at the very least prior to 2011 there was no Comeback of The Year Award based on the voting I could do on the board before that year and I not being given a choice of picking a comeback to vote for. I did however discover something in the email Demon sent me awhile ago because I wanted to see the 2011 award show.

I believe that this confusion between there being a comeback of the year and a return of the year probably began with this strange botch in 2011 where both terms were used for the same award. Dark age era of EAW where all the greats left strikes again  . JK, well half JK.  

It should be:

Return - the moment itself.

Comeback - the results after the return (accomplishments, feuds, etc.)

Why don't you know what is MOTY? 

Because, there will be enough rage when the real awards happen so no reason to start it now. Though overall I actually have no strong opinion of the true moty. I just know which match is most probable of winning aka DDD vs RoV and the rage that will come with it while Demon transforms into Dark Satan. MOTY turns sane people crazy.
