Hey. Look, I know it's going to sound weird knowing who I am. But I just got back from a bit of a journey. I heard about Brody and I thought I'd come out and admit something I never really told anybody until last month. 

My name's Killian, and I'm an alcoholic. 

Yeah, I've been drinking and doing drugs since I was sixteen and had always felt that need to take it upon myself to drink. I'd often get aggressive or somewhat pissed deep down when I didn't drink that day or at least get a buzz going. 

However, just a month ago my folks back home gave me an intervention. They expressed their worries about and what had been an admittedly pretty intense bender. 

Anyone, I want to say that I'm sorry for my absence within the community, truth is there were a lot of guys I enjoy chatting with here. And for those that would care, I'm happy to announce that I have been sober for 30 straight days. It's gonna still be a rough journey, but in due time I'll have to see whether or not I can endure the same drug issues I've had for a while.

You have the strength man, I believe in you. You've been sober for 30 days? That's nice. We all really believe in you (H).

First off, I don't think you necessarily owe us an apology. I think it says a lot about you that you have decided to face something like this head on. Alcoholism is a difficult, complex problem to deal with and I know several who have either had this completely consume their lives or nag them throughout their lifetimes.

Make sure that you are seeking all the help that you need and keep yourself in the best and most optimistic state of mind.
