Character: At this point, it's hard to know what's going on in Drastik's head. The once-decorated world champion, for the first time in his career, returned to action and failed to capture a world championship before leaving in March of last year. While the reason for his departure was kept under wraps for some time, reports surfaced that Drastik had attempted to kill himself. Elite Answers Wrestling nor any of his opponents have not addressed these rumors whatsoever.
Whether Drastik should or shouldn't be allowed to compete due to his mental state is still a question to be debated, but it has become more and more obvious that something is off. Was Drastik running from something? Is Drastik still running from something? What is it? Failure in an industry that has rewarded him with so much? Fear of what's to come? Something that transcends the industry itself? It's hard to say. But Drastik isn't what he was, and maybe that's all there is to it.
