Nico Borġ came to EAW on a moral crusade to cleanse what he saw as a endemic culture of corruption and blasphemous idolatry within the world's grandest wrestling federation. In hopes of shining a righteous light in the midst of this cult of sin, Borġ would enter himself and mete out penance with extreme prejudice. Having been denied his rightful place as Answers World Champion by the meddling of the harlot, Athena Vendetta, Borġ was left to ponder the meaning of his failure. Throughout his mission, he had proved a man of virtue, staying true to his ideals even as others questioned his sincerity and schemed around him. Even his much maligned claim of the National Elite Championship was itself legitimate, a consequence of the 24/7 contract that Borġ had rightfully earned. Why then did Nico's righteousness comeback only to bite him? Borġ would retreat into seclusion to ponder these mysteries and pray for an answer. After several days, he would witness rays of light split the sky in the form of a haloed cross, and with it the legend came to him; "In Hoc Signo Vinces" - in this sign, conquer. In dreams the following night, angels would visit him explaining the meaning of the apparition. Like the Sun, Nico had fallen from the sky, but he would rise again. The symbol bestowed upon him will stand as a reminder that all the wicked have reason to fear, and that the only true authority is that which resides in heaven. As true justice sleeps still in the hearts of men, no longer shall Nico abide by their impotent and malformed laws. This is war. And the righteous will be known only when they stand alone. Invictus. On his return from his short spell of abeyance, Nico brought back with him 'The Chorus', a shadowy cabal of unknown origin. Though by their long robes and solemn demeanour they appear akin to something like pagan druids, their theatrical masks reveal them for their true inspiration - the choruses employed by classical tragoedia. They play the role of the "ideal spectator", serving as the model for appropriate audience reactions by chiming in to pass moral judgement and explicate Nico's own assertions.
