CHARACTER INFORMATION

Gimmick: Shango, God of Fire, Thunder, and Lightning, was displeased. The people of the Maawai tribe had grown...relaxed. They were not one with the flame and the thunder, as they once were. And when the fire raged through their resting ground, the Maawai tribe believed that Badru would be born only to die to the flames. His mother, Mawu, had gone into labor in the heat of the flames. The tribe, fearing for their lives, raced away from their fallen member, believing her to perish in the fire. But when they returned to the burned land, where once was their home, they discovered Mawu and the child, both left unharmed by the flames. Badru was then on believed to be the Avatar of Shango, and was sworn to help his tribe to survive.

The fire and thunder was still not satisfied. Shango knew that the boy was meant for much more as his avatar. And thus, Shango urged the tribe to teach him. To guide him. And as the fire urged him, Badru left the tribe with a promise to bring to them glory and honor. He moved into the city, finding his talents as a wrestler around the areas of Kenya, until he moved to South Africa. Shango's presence had diminished there, and Badru knew that his talents would bring no honor to this place, for they did not care of his birthright. They only saw him for what their eyes could see...talent in combat.

Shango had ways of bringing his name to glory. Ways of moving the world in his favor. And the thunder from South Africa reached the ears of EAW, who were enamored at the idea of this Kenyan performer. Now, finding himself in unfamiliar lands, with different gods, Badru Jamba, the Avatar of Shango, seeks to bring the fire and thunder to EAW. To bring honor to the Maawai, and to bring glory to Shango himself. For the Fire and Thunder of Kenya, can still burn and rumble through the Americas.

MOTIVATIONS
Badru has been taught that he is the embodiment of Shango, God of Fire, Thunder and Lightning, and the representation of Male Power and Sexuality. He fights to bring honor to the Maawai Tribe, and to bring glory to Shango himself. As such he adheres to his own ideologies, tending to be confident in himself though he is respectful to his opponents. Fire is all consuming, not discriminatory after all.

I wasn't inactive. I didn't have a match. I wasn't going to post on the other topics, since I really didn't have a reason to do that.

Great fan of the character judging from what I have seen so far, so I wish you quick success here. In regards to your dilemma, you need to at least post in the Introduction Thread to give us a couple of sentences about who you are, your reasons to coming to EAW, etc. It gives the chance for the community to fully acknowledge your arrival to this fed, plus engaging with them is a strong plus because everyone here is vibrant and cool to associate with.

You've been moved back to NEO. You should try posting around and staying active on the account. When the admins see that you've been inactive for two weeks or close to it, they'll likely move you to former talents. Try talking to Stark to get booked.

Well to be honest. It's only been 10 days. Nowhere close to being two weeks and the first NEO show was posted 5 days after he signed up so he shouldn't have been moved to the former talent page. I just think it was by mistake that you got moved so there shouldn't be any worries from here on out.
