| To expand upon a point I saw of DDD's on this thread that was pretty simple, Get Over, is one thing that I think everyone should know how to do:
YOU MUST MAKE YOUR CHARACTER UNIQUE IN SOME WAY!
Sometimes I see people who write damn good promos, but in no way actually develop a character. It's like, the writing is fine but sometimes I don't have a fucking clue what your character is supposed to stand for, what the character is like, quirks, etc.
DDD and Kimbo (yes, that Kimbo) are damn good at it.
Jay, Rob, Candle (AKA Pizza Boy) are masters of it. The vast majority of main eventers and midcarders do it. That's one thing that I suggest anyone who steps into an efed be able to do well, not only to create a rewarding experience for yourself as a writer, but to put out something that is enjoyable for everyone else in the fed. |
