Carlos you were one of the first men i talked to in E-Feds. You gave me my initial boost essentially. For that I am eternally grateful. You have worked so hard for so long and I am dissapointed you did not get your moment tonight like you deserved, but season 10 is fair game! ROSSO ICHIBAN!

Carlos in all honesty, you are one of the most verasitile promoers I have ever seen, I have always enjoyed your promos. I believe you can win the World title this year soon enough.

EDIT: And as a person, you are easily one of the nicest guys I have ever come accross in my time e-feding, lol.

Probably the first person I talked to when I got here, and someone who's always backed me right from the beginning. Jokes about delayed matches aside, you're a big piece of the EAW puzzle, Carlos. Thanks for always going to bat not just for me, but for all the Vixens. You're selfless as hell, where that's concerned. You've held gold before, of course, but as talented as you are, you'll hold a lot more going forward. Thank you for always having my back.

PostSubject: Re: Carlos Rosso Appreciation Station   Carlos Rosso Appreciation Station EmptyJuly 2nd 2016, 11:24 pm

It has been a privilege to be in EAW for as long as I have, through the ups and downs. I've come to know a lot of people, very talented and intelligent people I otherwise may not have met before. I had been considering this for some time now and I think now may be the best time to do it.

I'm thirty now, that's more towards the ancient side of things from a fedding perspective. Work and real life is making it harder for me to participate in the fed at the rate I would like (example of that, I found out last night that one of my cousins may have a type of cancer.)

With the legacy of CWF coming to rest, I think it's about time for Carlos Rosso to finally hang them up. I have no plans immediately to scrap Erica (Somebody's gotta put over the Vixens, right?), but I just generally feel that all I can do with the Rosso character has been achieved. Even if I had won the title tonight, I may have only continued on until I eventually relinquished it to put someone over.

There are far too many to thank but I will touch over some of the ones who have meant a great deal to me as a fedder:

Demon and the management team that allowed me back in EAW after being exiled back in the day. Thanks for letting me in.

Jacob Senn, DDD, Imp, Demon, Xav, Brian, everyone else who has written for me be it one match or my entire storylines on Dynasty and Showdown. I appreciate the thought processes that you guys have and your creative abilities.

Nick Angel, for just being a good friend.

Jay, for always listening to me whenever I have questions or ideas.

TLA for making me laugh and helping me look at things from perspectives I wasn't comfortable with at times.

Ken for the insight and humor he always brought my way.

People like Tyler Parker, Lucian, Impact, Jay, GI, Demon and Norman Hellion and the countless promoers I have faced in EAW who have helped make the Rosso character work for so long. I've always believed that we are only as good as writers and creators when we work together to create stories that flow and are enjoyable for people to read.

GI, for being the best damn tag partner I could have asked for.

Nas, for being chill and always with a great sense of humor.

Vic and Aren for being quality opposition in what is probably the final match for that character and possibly my last as an active fedder. Well done, both of you.

Dub, for always being friendly to me and willing to chat sports with me.

What I like to call more of the "New Generation" of promoers. Guys like Mexican Samurai, Nico Borg, Tig Kelly, Christian Locke, and any of the newer people who have stuck around and shown what you can do. Seeing new, creative, easy-going people entering EAW gives me hope that it will be a fun place for a long time to come.

One last thing.....the Vixens. Cailin, Cloud,Aria, Tarah, Haruna, Eris/Kendra, HBG, Cam, Azumi (i'm so sorry for not being a better tag partner for you) and all the others who have been here and left. THank you for tolerating the shitstorm of lateness and madness that is me as a booker/writer for you all. Even though I've deferred a lot of responsibility in the last couple of months, I worked as much as I could to get more platforms for you all to show how talented yall are. And you knocked it out of the fucking park. I am proud to have written for you in the past and hope to continue that even as my role in the fed looks to diminish a little bit. I remember that some people were worrisome when ideas like the Vixens Cup, the SPecialists Championship and Empress of Elite were conceived by myself and others like DDD, but I hope that all of those ideas and events continue to go on.

Like I said before, I'm probably not going to get to every last one of you. But understand something, in many respects, no matter how much I've mentioned you in this little statement or have talked to you in this chat, when you have joined here I consider you a friend and part of my extended "cyber family", which frankly sometimes I feel closer to than my own actual family. Countless hours I've spent conversing, arguing, laughing, watching sports, wrestling, and other shows with. You're all my friends and I love each and every damn one of you...in the platonic sense.

I thank each and every last one of you for the encouragement through the tough times and the embarrassing times. I remember when some of the nastier details of my personal life made the rounds here and a good many of you came to my defense. I will not forget that. And I won't forget all the fun that I've had.

This isn't quite GOODBYE, but it is the end of an era I think. It was a great ride, even though I didn't quite hit that one milestone I wanted the most.

Thanks, guys.

(NOTE: I do hope to stick around as a writer if the Board will have me, plus as I mentioned Erica will probably troddle about aimlessly in the Vixens division for the foreseeable future.)

Thank You Carlos for everything you have done for me and helping me becoming a better promoer. If it weren't for you and other people I have asked for advice I wouldn't be the promoer I am today. Thank You Kind Sir. Too bad we aren't ever going to have a match against each other but oh well.

Carlos, bruh.  :mjcry: :mjcry: You were the first person to open their arms for me when I walked in here and really take notice of my promo abilities. I still can't believe that you are retiring from active competition, because there was still so much more to be done. If you ever come back, I'm going to keep my door open as the first feud to have. I appreciate everything that you've done for the Vixen's division, match writing, and my character.

It was an honor to be one of the last people to promo against you. You were an awesome promoer always making me think, and always putting me on edge with each promo you did. And even though you didn't win, you still had your PFP Moment.

Last year's PFP week was my best week when it came to promoing. I was up for hours writing because I knew every paragraph would be picked apart and I would wake up to another excellent promo, another class effort. It made it feel like I earned it. It sucks to read this because I don't think there's anyone in EAW that deserves to be a world champion more than you do. For what you've done not just as a fedder but your time as a writer, it's just been phenomenal.

I'm glad you're sticking around, you're such a top bloke to talk to. I hope you find equal success with the Erica Ford character.

Extremely difficult decision aside, World Title or no World Title, you've always been one of the better promoers in any fed you've been in. In the 8 + years that I've known you on e-feds, you've always kept your principles throughout every conflict and interaction. My personal advice is that you should keep your character around for special matches/sporadic appearances, but you're at liberty to do whatever you think is necessary. You've earned that right. On a side note, I want to say it was great feuding with you and GI during your run in Dynamite Rain while Jay and I were the Quintessential Trailblazers. Thanks for everything.
