As we all know Seth Rollins returned last night and attacked Roman Reigns after he successfully defended his championship against AJ Styles. It seems to me like WWE is gonna go with Seth/Roman right off the bat, please WWE, I pray... DON'T DO THIS! Rollins won't win, MITB isn't the PPV to do it, and I feel like it could ruin a lot of his momentum.

Here's what I would do.

- Tonight on RAW, it's announced that Shane isn't there and that Stephanie will be running the show by herself. She announces a triple threat match, the winner will take on Roman at MITB. It doesn't matter who the participants are, all that matters is that Rollins isn't in it. He complains to Stephanie, the crowd doesn't like it, but Steph does the whole "new era blah blah blah" and explains that returning superstars don't just get title matches now. But she tells him that he'll be added to the MITB match.

- At MITB Roman takes on... idk Jericho and beats him. The main event is the Money in the Bank Ladder match, Rollins looks like he's gonna win, he's fingertips away but then... TRIPLE H RETURNS AND COSTS HIM THE MATCH!!

(Now I understand ____ vs. Authority has become redundant by now, we went through it with Bryan, Reigns, and to an extent Ambrose. But we've all assumed that HHH/Rollins will happen eventually so...)

- The next night on RAW, Triple H explains that he did what he did because Rollins' injury caused the downfall of The Authority, he places all the blame on him. He blames him for Shane's rise back to power and everything wrong with today's WWE.

(Now, this next part doesn't need to happen, it's just something I thought of to fill the gap between MITB and Summerslam)

- After Triple H costs Rollins MITB, I imagine that Owens would win it, and then essentially fill the void that Rollins left and he would side with Triple H and Stephanie. He's constantly voicing his displeasure of Shane so it makes sense. It wouldn't be another Authority because obviously Shane is there but this is where the real power struggle would begin instead of the awkward shit that they're doing now. So at Battleground Owens would take on Rollins, Rollins wins.

- Summerslam, Triple H vs. Rollins, Rollins wins, that simple.

Whatever they do after that, I don't really care.

Have a Triple Threat with Roman and AJ at Money in the Bank, then have him face AJ one-on-one at SummerSlam.... the IWC orgasm while we still have Roman vs. Cena in the main event.

Seth demands a title shot on Raw, citing he was never beaten for the title.  Shane and Stephanie pensively agree with one another and Seth gets his shot at MitB.  Roman surprisingly protests, claiming Seth did nothing for the shot.  I say do this to build up to Roman's demeanor later on.  Plus, WWE loves shining the smarks here and there and Roman's their greatest smart mark shaming tool right now.

Meanwhile, qualifiers for MitB are happening.  AJ's in, Cesaro's in, Kalisto's in, Ryback's in (because you have to have a grounder), Kevin Owens is in...and Dean Ambrose
qualifies.  This is all happening as we head into MitB, book it for the month etc. etc.  Anyway, Dean's in, that's all that really matters.

Meanwhile, Seth's still heel.  Sure, he's going to get a face reaction initially, but Seth can turn a crowd on him quick.  Just remember the Slammy's if you want proof.  Seth is randomly seen backstage with members of the Club in un-mic'd vignettes.  I'm not really going to do anything with this, but it's there to plant the seed of paranoia in Roman and give Doc, Karl, and AJ the underworld presence the Club so desperately needs.

You can even throw in an attack on Roman post-Extreme Rules just to add to the suspicion of whether or not the architect is back to his old games.  Sort of like how they used the Shield with Punk initially, but to a lesser, short term extent.

Money in the Bank goes down, Seth does the unimaginable and pins Roman clean.  No shenanigans, no interference, but a clean win, hopefully with a new non-pedigree finisher, but I digress.  However, Deano's won Money in the Bank.

I'm questioning how I do the following.  Part of me wants to do the unheard of and put the titlular gimmick match in the main event with Dean winning and ending the show with a very Ambrose/Moxley wicked grin on his face as he hovers his broken body over the briefcase.  I think I'll go with that, because it has the subtle ambiguity to it that the WWE just doesn't do anymore.

The following night on Raw is hyped up as Seth Rollins' celebration ceremony. Roman's seen very early in the show begging the McMahon wonder twins for his rematch tonight.  After Shane predictably considers giving the fans what they want, Steph interjects that they should make them pay for it on the Network at Battleground. As Roman starts to protest, Ambrose appears wearing a fairly beat up party hat, a party whistle in his teeth, a party rattle in one hand, and a beat to hell Money in the Bank briefcase in the other.  Somehow in the time between Sunday and Monday, Dean's managed to put more dents and scars in this briefcase than he's put in Drake Younger.  He's even scratched off the Money in the Bank logo and scrawled on M0n3y n' thuh B(anarchy sign) n K in lovely 7 year old lemonade stand lettering.  Dean exclaims he's excited for the party before patting his briefcase and walking out.  Roman follows soon after in a huff.

Seth's partybration spares no expense.  He has a black carpet leading him to the ring, Kane and J&J show up in a one time cameo with a cake for Sethy boy (throw Kane in a hawaiian shirt for continuity purposes).  Kane hands him a present, it's predictably the WWE Title.  J&J meagerly give him the smaller present of new side plates, something Seth initially balks at before opening them and reacting to them like a girl being proposed to.  He promptly throws off Roman's side plates and begins to put his on when suddenly a long and farty guitar riff comes through the PA and a huge present is rolled out on the stage.  Seth, being the keen heel that he is, remembers Dean's penchant for jumping out of boxes.  He sends J&J and Kane down to check it out, when suddenly Ambrose slips in out of the crowd, school boys Seth, lets him up, blows his little party whistle and starts to run off, but before he makes it out of the ring his old brotha Roman spears the dick off of him, kicks the briefcase out of the ring, and stares down Seth, whose now clapping  as he gets to his feet.  Roman smiles at Seth, sticks out his hand for a handshake, and gets a superman punch for his troubles.  Roman leaves his Shield brethren down and out in the ring as the crowd goes insane with boos.

The following weeks are Rollins being terrorized by the McMahon siblings, by Roman, and by Dean as we head into Roman's rematch on PPV.  Commentary notes that Dean and Roman have seemed to become distant since Wrestlemania.  Dean can cut some Moxley esc. cryptic promos through the months from different locations in the building, but they're not Wyatt cryptic, they actually have a lot of subtext that could apply to either Roman or Seth, but otherwise, Dean's run-in's on Seth aren't happening since Seth's unlikely protector Roman appeared on the scene.  Roman continues his good guy/bad guy/the guy semantics going into Battleground.  On the go home show, on Smackdown of all places, Seth and Roman agree to meet for a contract signing for Battleground.  Roman enters first and then Seth makes his way to the ring when Ambrose jumps the barricade and attacks on the rampway.  Roman goes to stop things when The Club attacks, ironically triple powerbombing Roman through the contract signing table and hauling him off, once again fairly ironically, over the barricade and through the crowd, Undertaker druid style over their heads as Dean puts the boots to Seth, drags him to the ring, gives the ref the remaining shattered remnants of the Money in the Bank briefcase and pins Seth to win the title.  Dean significantly signs the match contract amidst the table rubble, and leaves with the title dragging behind him like Linus' blanket.  The main event to Battleground has changed on Smackdown mere hours before the show even goes down.  I do this to add some prestige to Smackdown, make it must-watch at least for awhile and add some of that NXT surprise factor to the WWE main roster in general.  Also, it's not like people are paying PPV prices anymore.  Card subject to change should be a more prominent mantra in the WWE.

At Battleground Dean and Roman run into each other.  Dean claims to have nothing to do with The Club, and that AJ was clearly just getting his little table revenge fantasy out on Roman.  Roman gives Dean a hesitant fist bump as Roman goes out to face The Club in some sort of Gauntlet match to put their beef to rest.  This kind of highlights the fact that I should probably do the title switch on Raw just to set up stronk Roman calling out the Club on Smackdown to squash their beef.  Anyway, this is stream of consciousness booking.

Roman does good against the Club, beating Karl and Doc after hard fought bouts, but I'd have AJ win in the end.  It's not a strong win for AJ, but it's a win, and Roman still looks stronk.  That's not important though. Seth is important, Summerslam is important.

Dean and Seth have a barn burner.  I was tempted to have Roman do a run-in and end the match all Dusty Sports Entertainment style, but Rollins needs the return win and I can book moving forward without shenanigans, and I'd prefer to.  Seth beats Dean cleanly because these two never seem to get a clean end to anything against one another.

The following Raw Roman and Dean are in the McMahon's office/WWE backdrop set they stand in front of asking for their rightful rematch.  Seth appears, mocking them both, saying neither man deserves a rematch.  Shane disagrees and says both men deserve a rematch and they'll get it at Summerslam in a Shield Reunion Triple Threat for the WWE title, and that's about as far as I'd go to be honest.  I'd consider interjecting the Club again, playing off the fact that they're maybe a dark reflection of the guns for hire that the Shield used to be as they attack Ambrose and Reigns going into Summerslam, and Seth after he retains at Summerslam.  From there I'd consider booking a few months of teasing a reunion of the Shield against The Club until finally paying it forward at Survivor Series in a traditional Survivor Series bout between the two teams, maybe debuting Finn on the side of the Club and bringing in a 4th party to the Shield, maybe an old rival like Bray in some deal with the devil mixed in.  I'd probably use that match to put over The Club though, and this is supposed to be about Seth.

I would do a double turn and turn Roman heel tonight and have Seth be the face. Seth vs Roman at MITB, Rollins wins the title clean and Owens wins MITB contract. Triple H turns on Rollins at MITB or RAW after and HHH/Rollins for the title is your Summerslam main event. Authority dies at Summerslam with Rollins retaining and Owens cashes in on Rollins at a later date to win the title? Possibly Survivor Series?

How do I see it going down? Triple H costing Rollins the title at MITB and having Rollins/HHH non-title at Summerslam. How do you guys see it going down also?

Unrealistic: Form a stable between my favorite guys, Rollins, Styles, Balor, and Owens. Have Gallows and Anderson as extras (don't care for them that much) Let them kill everyone and win all the gold. :]

Realistic: will be up tomorrow when I feel like it. Don't have the energy or interest atm.

Not been far off so far... could WWE 'creative' actually be similarly creative?
