I disagree with the reasoning, seeing as a 3-0 loss is the same as a 4-0 loss, and we're usually pretty good with the extra skater.

That being said, I wouldn't mind getting rid of Roy considering we struggle so much with the basics, like a breakout. I know Roy thinks he's too cool for puck possession and the stats nerds, but we're shit at it because of so many defensive zone and neutral zone turnovers. If he can't correct THAT, he should go. And, as bad as the Avs have been in the past decade, the team he has now should be able to get 8th out of a 14-team West.

That being said, Arsenal fans know that Stan Kroenke hardly cares about results that aren't directly related to the bottom line, so ownership won't demand changes. It'll be down to Joe Sakic to fire Roy... and the two of them are buddies from the time the Avs were world beaters.
