I want to have one myself. Just whenever the time comes. I don't want to rush anything and make sure I'm financially stable enough to support the kid and the baby momma.

I can honestly wait. Although my girlfriend wants to have one pretty much as soon as she finishes college and we settle down. I'd prefer to wait till I'm about 25 or 26 and have less obligations to so many people and places.

I'm 25 and my daughter is 6.. Don't want anymore right now..

I don't care if I have a biological kid or not but I think I want to adopt.

Real talk tho, I'd love to have one someday. I get alot of people coming to me and saying that I'm good with kids and I personally enjoy the company of babies (no pedo pun intended).

I have a little girl and she's my world. So I guess your question would be do I want another and the answer would be yes. 

As a father holding your child for the first time is the best experience of your life.

Based off the majority of the interactions I had with my parents after I turned... 15, I don't think I want any. Unless, of course, I'm able to not repeat the passive-aggressive nagging, the constant reminders of the "potential" they convinced me that I had that was left untapped, the "support" they had for me as long as I did what they wanted me to do in life, the feeling that I'm nothing to them but an investment return (don't constantly remind your kid how much money it costs to raise him/her)... they don't do that with me anymore, but now they get upset when I show that this shit affects how much I can trust them. It's like they want me to pretend that several years didn't happen.

...I know they love me and I know they care, and I figure they never meant to come across that way, but if they can accidentally do so, so could I. I think I'm better off not risking it.

Sorry for the rant. It's just been bugging me for years on end.

Probably. Like I'm not entirely sold on the idea because I really hate babies. But I kinda want to be able to crack dad jokes and embarrass and annoy the fuck outta my own offpsring and actually have a proper father-child relationship (as the father) because I never really had one (or at least a decent one). Oh and I'd definitely endeavour to make sure to have at least two kids with the future missus because I wouldn't want my kid to ever grow up without a sibling like I did.

tl;dr - I want to eventually be a father so I can provide my future kids with the childhood I never had.

I had my son when I was 18 and I love him to death. However, his mom has made the whole experience the hardest thing for me to deal with in my life. And I'm saying that after finding out at 18 that my parents were divorced for 8 years but didn't tell anyone because they lived in the same house and wanted to make things "normal" for the kids. 

So, today, at 24, I talk with my girlfriend and I'm good with just my one. She understands where I'm coming from but she'd like at least one so I'll probably have another, eventually. I'm in no rush and if you are, you're an idiot. Enjoy your life because once you have kid, it's awesome and it's the biggest joy of your life but your life completely changes. Mine changed for the better because I probably would have overdosed on something or would be a bigger drunk than I am now. 

Man...this makes me sound so trashy but I swear I'm just a dude from a rich white suburb.
