| not both..... as long as my match still looks good, I don't need to look weak to win and too strong to get defeated. |

| Strong in defeat. If you look weak in victory, everyone's going to act like it's a fluke victory but if you look strong in defeat then everyone's going to know that you could beat them if the time comes. |

| Weak in victory because in the future those weak victories can pile up and you can easily revise history into turning it into an established resume of greatness. No one will notice a thing either, considering most people are too stupid to learn their history. It makes it all the more easier for an opportunist to revise it. |

| I think it depends on the type of character.
If you're a heel or an extremely clumsy, lucky face, looking weak in a win may be better for you. If you're the weak face, it fits with your character almost perfectly. If you're a heel, it gives the people even MORE reason to despise you. "Hey, that guy that I can't freaking stand just got lucky and won AGAIN! BOOOOOOO!"
If you're a normal face, losing strong in defeat is probably better. No one can question the character's effort or ability, but it's all basically down to bad luck or something happening in a split second that changed the match. |

| Weak in victory. Accomplishments don't look weak or strong once they're on paper. |

| I agree with it depending on alignment. If you're a face you never want to look weak in a loss. Just makes it less believable when you come back in the rematch and dominate |

| It depends on the extreme. For example, I rather lose in some godly fight like you vs DDD where people will remember my resilience and such, than win by getting my ass beat and never hitting a move until my opponent get's knocked out by someone else and I pin them in a main event or something.
At the same time, I rather win with a rollup than lose in a above average match that at the end of the day people won't really remember or care that I lost.
It also depends on which characters I'm using. For example Tiberius is a thief, smaller frame guy and uses mist, so I'd be much quicker to accept him winning cheaply or getting his ass kissed a lot in the match over some of my other dominating characters who are much larger in frame and have more pride than he does. |

| Also. If you injure your opponent to put them on the shelf that gains extra points even in defeat. For example-though I still won the match, if I had been DQ'd I think it would be the same-, people remember the fact I slit RoV's throat more so than they remember him defeating me in hell in a cell-though I in no way looked weak in that match-. -At least they bring up me slitting his throat more.-
In the end, what builds the most memory for your character is best |
