Man this is so surreal to me, stepping into the Tokyo Dome for the first time ever in my career. This is like Japan's Madison Square Garden it's just so cool and be honored to be apart of this historic event at Reckless Wiring tomorrow night...I need to take it in now because once my music hits and I walk down this ramp, my game face is on and I'm ready to break bones, crush peoples dreams and fulfill mine.


Lucas Johnson turns around as he walks down the ramp slowly but quickly stops and takes a second to take a breath and turns around again to see the camera man in his face as throws the camera men to the ground and throws him into the titantron as the screen shows static and goes to black..

WHAT DID I SAY YESTERDAY? STOP FOLLOWING ME! I WILL TELL YOU FOOLS WHEN YOUR ALLOWED TO FILM ME, SHOW SOME RESPECT TO YOUR SOON TO BE NEW BREED CHAMPION! 

Officials rush to the scene as Lucas Johnson backs up not trying to cause anymore commotion but takes the camera that fell to the ground as it continues to film...Lucas continues to walk down to the ring as he begins to film crew workers setting up the Barbed-Wire Steel Cage

People in this world can voice however they want to sitting at an Elite Answers Wrestling event because they purchased there own ticket they can do whatever they want. I don't care if I am going to get cheered by them, boo'd by them because none of there opinions matter to me. But let me go on a little bit of a rant for a second....

Before I even arrived here at the land of the elite, Dynasty, Voltage or even developmental I was the most praised man on SportsCenter before and after every wrestling match I had being apart of The Ohio State University Wrestling Team and now I am one of the biggest paid superstars in Dynasty history and now I don't even get respected by my fellow locker room mates. What the hell is up with that? I walk into the locker room and no wants to respect The Wrestling Machine? Mister Mark Michaels just said these confident words a few hours ago..."He’s gonna fall flat on his face again. Only this time, I’m gonna make sure that his stay puff marshmallow looking ass stays down.  After I’m done with him, Lucas won’t be asking for any more title matches, because he’ll still be feeling beating I’m gonna lay down on him for weeks to come!  It’s back to preliminary matches for that fat sack of crap who thought that he could be a champion wrestler in EAW the way he was a champion pie eater at the count fair." Begging for title matches? It's called busting your ass every single day of the week and night in and night out looking to make the biggest impact possible. That's the problem with all these people in this match, they all see me as a joke because I lost the Young Lions Cup to Aria Jaxon, they won't be laughing when I beat them to a bloody pulp tomorrow night and walk out of the Tokyo Dome with MY NEW BREED CHAMPIONSHIP SO BOW DOWN TO THE FUTURE KING OF THE NEW BREED DIVISION!

(The scene cuts to the Reckless Wiring 2017 interview area.  It’s here that we see EAW’s Social Media Champion “Picture Perfect” Mark Michaels, standing in dressed his ring gear with a microphone in his hand.)


Michaels: “Last year I stepped into the first ever Hell’s Warpath match.  Of the ten men who were selected to compete in that match, I am the only who’s still around for the second.  Last time I was a man on fire who was lighting up every last man who came across my path.  This time I gonna be the devil himself because in this match, What everyone is calling Hell, I’m calling home sweet home!  See that because I know exactly what it is like to compete in this Hell’s Warpath, all the carnage that comes at you from every side, all the bodies that have been broken laying all around you, the non-stop onslaught from each and every man who’s still able to draw breath.   I know full well what is about to take place in that ring, and In a just matter of moments, I am once again going to have to walk to hell and back.  The only difference between then and now, is that this time I am going to walk out of the Tokyo Dome with the EAW New Breed Championship and take the first step towards restoring the prestige that this title once held.  Yes the New Breed title belt has been stained by the likes of JJ Silva, and Rex McAllister, and that big oaf Cody Marshall.  But after tonight, those dark days shall finally be over, because finally there will be a true champion who possess that belt.  Finally there will be a man worthy of holding it.  Finally the  New Breed Champion will be PERFECT. 
 
Now yes it might seem that there are some who are doubting that this is finally my time.  Certainly everyone has had their opinion about who exactly is going to be the last man standing after tonight.  But opinions are like assholes, everyone’s got them and they’re usually full of shit.  So what I’m going to deal with is facts.  Fact number one, like I said before I am the only man who will be able to say that I’ve competed in every Hell’s Warpath match.  That means not only do I have the experience factor in my favor, but it also means that I took the best shots from every last man who was in that match.  Every punch, kick, and chair shot they had in them, and I am still standing before you ready to do it all over again.  That’s because I am a man of endurance, of you don’t believe me just ask my date last night and she’ll tell you that can go all damn night if I have to!  Mark Michaels is hands down the toughest man to put away in EAW plain and simple.
 
Fact number two, of all the men in this match, no one has had the list of opponents that I’ve gone toe to toe with.  Some of you are bragging about the ham and eggers you’ve beaten in the weeks before tonight, I say call me when you’ve had to deal with Chris Elite, HBG,  The High Rollerz, Ryan Savage, Y2impact, and Mister DeDeDe all in the same match!  While you’re at it let’s see how you fare against Lucian Black, Zack Crash, Hades the hell raiser, and Scott Oasis, who is a former World Heavyweight champion whom I beat in under a minute!  So before anyone of you overhyped bastards get your hopes up into thinking you actually have a shot of winning, just remember where I’ve been and who I’ve been up against, because I didn’t even break a sweat taking on all of those legends so what trouble could any of you overrated bastards be?
 
See tonight, destiny is calling.  Tonight I begin to reap the rewards of a life spent dedicated to a craft.  Tonight after my hand is raised, it will make all the hours spent in the gym, all the hours of studying footage of every great who has come before me, every bruise and broken bone, and every moment I’ve pushed myself to get to the next show when I had nothing left in me, after my hand is raised tonight it will have been worth it!  This is culmination of a dream that started the moment I first started watching Wrestling back when I was six years old!  This is the reason I had to come back to EAW, back to Dynasty, so that I could change my history and set things right, not just for me, but for the entire industry at large!  Because EAW is the biggest professional wrestling promotion in the world today, so much so that it practically is pro wrestling.  And this company, this industry, needs someone who can bare the load on his shoulders.  I tell you right now it’s not El Ironico, It’s not the riddler, it’s not Jacob Moore,  it’s not Lucas Johnson, and it sure as hell isn’t Cody Marshall!  No the only man who can uphold the sport of professional wrestling is the man who is the absolute picture of perfection, Mark Michaels!
 
 Now I’m sure there’s someone out there talking out their ass about how someone like Lucas Johnson is gonna win.  Yeah and maybe pigs will fly.  With a guy like Lucas you’re talking about the perennial runner up, and in this business there is no silver medal for losers like him.  Now I’ll give Lucas credit, you’d would think that after failing to impress anyone with all his talk about how he’s gonna break arms this, and bust open that, that he would try to think up something else to say.  But no, Lucas is spouting off the same crap he’s been saying for the past three months now.  So points for persistence, but failing grades in every other category.  Time after Time Lucas has begged for title matches only to fall flat on his face and embarrass himself.  Now he gets one more chance, one more shot at making his dream a reality, and guess what?  He’s gonna fall flat on his face again.  Only this time, I’m gonna make sure that his stay puff marshmallow looking ass stays down.  After I’m done with him, Lucas won’t be asking for any more title matches, because he’ll still be feeling beating I’m gonna lay down on him for weeks to come!  It’s back to preliminary matches for that fat sack of crap who thought that he could be a champion wrestler in EAW the way he was a champion pie eater at the count fair.  It is high time that Lucas wakes up to reality, because even though he came close to winning the young lion’s cup, the name of the game has and always will be, what have you done lately?  Lucas, enjoy the moments where you can fool yourself into thinking you have what it takes to walk out of here with that belt.  Hell, convince yourself that you’re even gonna be able to walk after this one, because hell hath no fury Like Mark Michaels.
Oh and let us not forget about Jacob Moore.  The man who has accomplished such great feats as… you know what I can’t list one thing that this guy has ever done, I doubt anybody else including Jacob actually could.  That’s the problem with being the world’s biggest suck up, everyone sees that your only here because you kissed the right ass and sucked the right dick.  Here you are about to enter a warzone, and you haven’t even completed basic training.  Even if you somehow manage to shock the world and actually win this match, everyone will still be calling you a paper champion because you didn’t do jack shit to actually earn your spot.  But that’s all just hypothetical , and we all know that you don’t stand a chance of beating me, not when I am ready to tear thru over privileged assholes like you.  Jacob, you are about to step into the ring and stand not against a man, but against a wrestling god, one who is ready to strike down on you with vengeance and furious anger.  Because whether your boss butt buddy likes it or not, this is my time now.  And nobody, especially some handpicked teacher’s pet is gonna be able to stop me from getting what’s mine.  So bring your ass down to the ring, and I shall promptly send it sailing over the top rope, and back to the land of curtain jerkers where you belong! 
 
Speaking of which, why the fuck am I having to wrestle in a championship match against a guy who made his debut a whopping six days ago?!  Sure the kid showed some promise, but just because he beat some jackass who didn’t know his left from his right doesn’t make him ready to capture a prize that many in EAW would sell their souls for.  Listen pal, why don’t you and the voices in your head,  jump on over to Voltage, I hear they have an entire gang of nutjobs over there, maybe they’ll let you in their fruity little club and you can leave the Championship matches for the real wrestlers on Dynasty.  And should you or the three stooges knuck knuck knucking inside your head, choose to walk down the aisle and step into my ring, well then I’m gonna make you the mystery man you claim to be, because I am gonna beat you so badly ain’t nobody gonna recognize you after I’m thru.  Now go on and fuck off before I (to the tune of the 1960’s batman theme) NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA BITCH SLAP, you back to whatever hole you crawled out of.
 
And of course there’s everybody’s favorite Laughing stock, the dumbass who I can only shake my head at every time he pops up on a tv screen.  I can’t stand this El Ironico clown.  The guy whose very existence pisses on Lucha style wrestling, to say nothing of how a man like that can be awarded an opportunity for championship gold.  Seeing him here makes me wonder if the company gets some sort of tax write off for putting that ass hat in a goofy looking mask in this match.  I mean giving charity like this to a man like him is the only logical answer, because no one in their right mind could ever think that the gimmicky comedy, even with all his filpy bullshit could ever hold a candle to  greatness in the flesh.  So go on ahead and down another beer before you hop in the ring, your gonna need an excuse for how quickly I am gonna dispatch of you.  Faster than I could snap my fingers, I’m gonna plant your skull directly into the mat.  Because I don’t have time to waste on silly, bottom of the card, attention whores who only exist to keep the more simple minded members of the crowd happy until it’s time for the main event.  That is your role Ironico, you better get to knowing it well, because as long as I’m around it’s the only one you’ll ever know.
 
Let’s see I covered the lame wannabe luchador, the guy who just walked in last week, the ass kisser, and fatty fatty two by four can’t even buy a win anymore.  So by my count that leaves just one more overrated son of a bitch that I need to set the record straight for. 
 
So let’s do so Cody.  See I now you’re putting up a brave front, talking about how I’m not a threat to your championship.  But anyone with half a brain can see that if you weren’t worried about me beating you down from bell to bell, you wouldn’t have spent all that time rambling on about me.  So your either cowering more than you’re trying to let on, and who could blame you?  I wouldn’t want to have to fight me either.  Or your dropping my name as a way to make your title run carry the least bit of significance before I rip that title right out of your hands.  You keep running your mouth about being an underdog, and how no one thought you would beat Ryan Marx for the title a few weeks back.  But while it was a good win for you, don’t get things twisted because even a blind squirrel will find a nut every now and again.  After tonight you are gonna be the image that sits next to the definition of word Fluke! 
Because tonight you’re not just facing some jobber off the street looking for a payday, oh no!  You are gonna be standing toe to toe with the greatest technical wrestler the world has ever seen.  You call me a scrawny little wimp, let’s see how you feel when that wimp kicks your overgrown, inbred, sister kissing, red neck ass all over the city of Tokyo!  Let’s see how you feel when my knees nail you right in the face with a Screen Cracker!  Let’s see how you feel when you have to go back home to your wife slash mother empty handed because you tried to fuck with the man who will not be denied his New Breed Championship tonight.  You want to question my sexuality, and I have the feeling it’s because even you can’t help but want a piece of Perfection, but I’ll tell you right now Cody I’m straight as an arrow.  Tonight however,  in that ring I am gonna make you my own person bitch!
Yes I called you a pig fucker, and that’s because a pig is a hundred times better looking than that cave troll you call an old lady.  I mean seriously, I had no idea there was such a thing as a quadruple Chin.  On the plus side, ha see what I did there, screwing her must count as a threesome based on her weight alone.  Oh And as for all your bible thumping, I’ve never been much for placebo effect and a superiority complex, but you go ahead feel free to take the old testament, the new testament, all the psalms, and even John 3:16, roll them up in a big ol’ ball and stick ‘em straight up your bald headed asshole, because the book of Michaels says judgement day is here and now for any who dare stand against the wrestling god! 
So why don’t you head back to the special needs class room and go over that little math problem you thought you had figured out, because in any normal match you might have had a 108 percent chance of winning.  But when you factor in Mark Michaels into that equation, you have ZERO chance of winning.  Just like every one of the overhyped, underdeveloped, just another ant I got to crush along the way to get what has been coming to me, son of a bitch unlucky enough to have to face me tonight!
 
So bring your A-Game boys,  your gonna need it if you hope to last even five minutes against the Twitter Trendsetter, The Instagram Icon, The Hashtag Hero who amassed his following from his in ring skills and unmatched charisma. Followers who have shown their appreciation for their undisputed Social Media Champion by voting for him to be the man that conquers all in Hell’s Warpath!  The man is bigger than Dynasty, bigger than EAW, bigger than all of Professional Wrestling itself!  The man who is the greatest to ever step thru the ropes, past present, or future.  The man who is the only one in this match worthy to hold that Championship because he is the future of this industry.  The absolute picture of perfection, and after tonight, the Elite Answers Wrestling New Breed Champion, Mark Michaels!  Lucas, Ironico, Cody, Riddler, Jacob, I will see all of you In Hell!  Go on and Picture THAT!”

So I relented. The family wanted to help so here I am in the gym with them. The more the days go by, the more uneasy I feel. I waited for so long- even when we were allies for this moment. The two of them are like hungry animals waiting to tear me apart. I can’t let that happen- at any cost; I must win.


Play like a champion. Fight like Matsuda.

“Stay down”. That’s an interesting phrase Ms. Jaxon. A phrase that doesn’t register with either of you. You, Cloud, and Cailin are far too stubborn to lie down for anybody. That’s the thing, though. We don’t want you to stay down. Staying down implies a lack of suffering. We want you and the champ to suffer. From the moment that bell rings you are stuck in Cloud City. There is no place to hide, no place to run, and nowhere to lie down at. You will stay up and take your beating like the dogs you are! Aria, You criticize my client for declaring herself a woman back when you were all milling about as vixens- but I sense a bit of jealousy in your voice. My client predicted the future but yet had to demand her shot for a title instead of being awarded for her foresight. You compare her attitude to Haruna - but she wanted nothing to do with the division. My client is willing to stay and force the roster to evolve. Whenever Sakazaki doesn’t get her way, she threatens to quit, just like how Ms. Efficiency walked away, just like how Ms. Dillon refused to acknowledge my client’s Specialist victory only to spoil her title defense two weeks later. People like you and that red-headed stepchild call people out on their BS, while trying to hide your own. People like the two of you make me sick. If there’s even a shred of love left in my client’s heart for you two, then I pity her. In fact, I pity you both come Saturday. I shall spend the day sharpening the Sword of Sanatorium into the blade she was destined to become and cut you both down! 

Keeping up with your consistent yammering feels like a full-time job. Do either of you think before you speak, or you just pull a Bill O’Reily and just adapt a ‘screw it, we’ll do it live!’ mentality? Skating by on your charisma won’t get either of you out of this. Whether Stephanie realizes or not, she’s about to come upon a renaissance with her career. She’s on the cusp of becoming the best of herself. The difference between her and the two of you is she’s nowhere near her glass ceiling. Cai, you call my client a puppet, which somehow I’m controlling her? If anything I’m THE ONLY ONE who has ever truly supported her! What Cloud Matsuda does in that ring exists in her hands only. The thoughts I express are feelings we share about the business and you two hags! You want to nonchalant your way into this match, talking like a passive aggressive badass. That’s an oxymoron you baka! Either you’re going to destroy the competition, or you’re going to sink to in the depths of obscurity! You fancy yourself the director of this production, but you lack the foresight to see the potential in your actors. You lack the vision to end this story properly. How about you slide to the left and let me take over? I got it from here. Matsuda’s got all the makings of a big star, someone who will change this division for the better. What do you have Cailin? What is it about you that separates yourself from the rest? What do you have to offer Empire that can’t be done with any other champion? Matter of fact, I address this to you as well Ms. Jaxon. At least Stephanie tries to set herself apart from others. At least she was aware of the direction this division was going in and sought to speak out about. You talk down the establishment of the Cloud Matsuda Brand, but at least she has one! She’s not afraid to challenge the assumptions of others and that of her own! You both claim to fight for yourselves, but even then that won’t be enough! To achieve a higher level of prestige one must find something bigger than themselves and live by that ideology. The lone gunman theory is a myth. The vigilante mentality burns out quick and leads to ruin. My client may have started this season on a temper tantrum, but she’s going to end it in a blaze of glory when she walks into Pain for Pride X the true women’s champion. Because honestly ‘sweets,' you seem less like the first Women’s Champion and more like the 26th Vixens Champion. My client has set a road for herself and allowed herself to develop step by step. That’s called character development.

Try learning it sometime.

 
I don’t want to say anyone in this match is being taken lightly because they aren’t. The tension here is incredible. The tension between Aria and I seems to be different than what exists between Cloud and everyone else. I mean, just look at the way Aria and I are going at each other and the way Stephanie is being almost dismissed. That’s where what Aria says about her comes into play here. It’s not anyone is not taking her seriously, it’s just that her reasoning for being here and her arguments don’t seem to hit home the same way as what Aria sees me and her saying does. Maybe it's because deep down neither of us feel she belongs here. She’s taking advantage of it to her credit. You know, when two women bust their collective asses to get to one match and then someone who didn’t do shit comes strolling in and decides the outcome, it’s infuriating. That’s why you can be damn sure she’s not forgotten in all of this. Maybe the three of us were just naïve to believe Formation would last forever when we started it. Maybe we were just incredibly stupid to believe this result now was anything but inevitable when you put three super competitive bitches in the same room together and expect nothing would ever boil over. So this is where we’re at. Aria is holding on to hope that her drive alone will take her to this victory. Stephanie is hoping that she has the ability to rise from the shadows and win despite not being the favorite or something. And me, the Women’s Champion, I’m only here for one thing: to win.
 
We make fun of Stephanie for some of her conspiracy theory ways, but you know what? It really is the truth. This is just how this woman is. She hasn’t been able to decide who she wants to be from the moment the Specialist’s title slipped through her grasp. It’s an identity crisis. Now she has someone to help her choose, to point her in the right direction and hold her hand as she skips down this broken path toward trying to become the Women’s Champion. She is the wildcard in the match because we have no idea what she and Meow are willing to do in order to fix this shit in her favor. But she doesn’t quite get just how pissed off I am after what took place last month. Whether or not you want to beat the dead horse about if I was about to lose that match or turn it around and win it all, it’s total bullshit that you backed your way into this match. Look at me and Aria arguing over whether or not we deserve what we get in terms of opportunities. We can argue that because there’s no fucking doubt in hell that I deserve to be champion right now and that she deserves to be fighting for it. I didn’t have anyone hold my hand down the path to this. I made my own decisions and ignored the whispers from friends and enemies and I beat my way to the top. Do you want to deny that? Go ahead. I’ll point to the Empress of Elite crown that sits in my apartment and the title I bring to each and every episode of Empire and wear proudly because I am the first person to wear it and because I deserve to be here right now. You took a back door. No, more like a side door. Meow broke open the lock with a crowbar and you came running in from the side when she said go and you took your shot. That doesn’t make you any more deserving to be here than La Diva. Yet somehow you have gained the respect of someone who couldn’t dislike you more. The master manipulator who walks at your side made sure this would happen for you. And me? I’ve stepped back and let it happen. Because the most worthy thing you’ve done in the last month is pulled a draw in a ladder match that you couldn’t have possibly pulled off unless Meow constantly fucked with Aria throughout the match. So now you’re playing the thief. You want to run in here, hope that Aria and I rip each other apart and you and Meow can do just enough to find yourself crowned champion. What a joke. You’re still the same woman that won that Specialist’s Grand Rampage by using your own wits and skill. But then you just went fucking dumb after that. You were so proud you wanted to rub it in my face, knowing it would backfire. I gave you a fucking golden goose in that fatal four way by taking your rival Haruna, and basically myself, out of the match. You not beating Tarah and losing that title, that has nothing to do with anyone but yourself. And now you’re picking up rocks and looking for redemption in all the wrong places. But no matter how many stones you look under and no matter how many corners you look around trying to find the answer you want, you’ll only find the same correct answer every single time. My foot kicking you right in the mouth and putting your right back on your ass.
 
Until you really figure out how to do this on your own. Until you start blaming yourself and trying not to make this about some invisible force that’s holding you back, you will never be taken seriously. Even as a champion, you’d be roundly mocked. Everyone will roll their eyes. “Oh, the one who isn’t capable of anything without that manager at her side.” This is because you’re not the same fighter you were before. If anything, you took a step back. See, people can say I’ve changed and they can call me a bitch all they want. But the one thing they won’t question is whether or not I’m still going to bring and slap the shit out of everyone who dares stand in front of me. You know that will never change. You know people will always say the same thing about me. You better show up and fight her with everything you’ve got or she will put you on your ass and walk right over the top of me. That’s because, me, I came from the school of the hardest knocks you can take in this company. I was born into this company in a terrible fucking situation, and I fought for myself. I was mocked to all ends by Hexa-gun, and I had the last laugh. I was told I didn’t belong, and I won the Specialist’s title. Cameron told me the Empress of Elite tournament was my swan song in this company, and I proved her wrong and I won the damn crown. And when Sheridan took the road that my match against her was my last relevant match in this company, I sent her packing. That’s just who I am, and it will never, ever change. Maybe you’re scared of falling behind. But when you reach that point you can either take up arms and fight your way back out of the corner and find your own way to the top, or you can take shortcuts that get you by until you plummet back to the bottom. What you’ve done is put a bandage on a deep cut. It’s going to stop the sign of blood for a moment, but eventually, it's going to seep back through and fail. Eventually, you’re going to run out of bandages. And that’s when the end comes. That end is Malicious Intentions.
 
It’s painfully obvious, Aria, that we will fight like this for a long time. We came up together but eventually, there was going to be a time when we both wanted the same thing: we both want to be the best. That’s where the naïveté comes in. I think when we arrived here within weeks of ago we both identified each other as legit threats in the so-called low or mid-card for the Vixens. But we were the two, maybe throw in Eris, that weren’t willing to settle for that. We were smashing glass ceilings before it was the popular thing to say we were doing. You and Cloud might have been friends, but you and I were the two that bonded over fighting for the same things. That’s why it’s funny to even see you consider me an ex-friend, now. What’s different? We still want the same things and that will never change. We’ve both gone through our evolutions, fought back from failures and reached a point like this, a supershow where we’re fighting for the top women’s prize. It really is incredible when you think about it. But the even more incredible thing is how I rose from the lower spot to reach this one. Ask anyone how they would have ranked from our class. 1. Eris. 2. Aria. 3. Cailin. I won’t argue the merit for that. Eris won the Vixen’s title in no time at all. You won the inaugural Empress of Elite tournament. I was getting my ass kicked by HBG and her cronies and getting dragged into stupid situations by JJ Silva. The last thing anyone expected a year after I won the Specialist’s title is that I would have achieved what I did and stood here now as the Women’s Champion. This is not about me feeling inferior to anyone. This about the fact that I’ve always broken the barriers put in front of me, I’ve always risen back to the bottom and I’ve never grown content. You ask anyone in that Grand Rampage match last year if they thought there was a chance in hell I would not come back out of that thing with the title and only liars would tell you otherwise. Everyone wants to believe they will win and they will do it. Everyone wants to believe they’re more prepared or that they somehow have an advantage because of desire. But in the end, the winner is not decided by those things alone. You can want this with all your heart. You can need this to save your soul. But I’ll still be the one kicking the door back in your face as you come walking through and keeping this title around my waist. See, I’m not taking anything lightly and I’m not looking ahead, but I’m also not planning to go into next week empty handed either. I’m taking this on with the fight and heart of the champion. With the desire and need of a challenger. And with the absolute, unchanging confidence that I will still be the Women’s Champion come Sunday.
 
I get why you operate the way you do, too, Aria. I’ve always understood that. Just like you say with me, I was there every single step of the way. I saw you celebrate big wins and achievements. I saw the frustration and hurt when things didn’t go right. And I always saw the determination to pick up the pieces and move toward the next challenge or to grit your teeth and take on someone who wanted what you had. There’s no doubt in my mind when I’m stepping into the ring with you that our match will be an absolute slugfest. I know you will fight until you collapse. And I know Stephanie will fight until she falls down and Meow tosses her near lifeless body over the top of you in an attempt to win. But you’re just the type that would kick out even if both Cloud and Meow we’re laying on you and putting their weight on your shoulders. You like to be the kind that takes all the weight of the world on her shoulders and still prevail. You chide Stephanie for being someone trying to prove something, but we’re no different. You’re exceptionally no different in what you hope to accomplish this week. Your mission has no revenge fantasies attached, but it’s very much about redemption. The problem is, my own redemption story isn’t finished yet, so you can wait your turn. There’s still plenty I want to achieve as champion. This is not about holding this title with the ninja grip that Sheridan — zip zap you dumb fucking bitch — obsessively spoke about before Road to Redemption. I don’t spend my free time hiding this under jackets or clutching it to my chest while I sleep. Just trying to rip it from my hands won’t be enough for you to come away with this belt in your possession. I won’t lose, Aria. I can’t. I’m just not built to lose a match like this. You want this to be the end for me. But I see it more as the beginning of the next step. This match should be when I put Formation behind me for good and continue on the journey of establishing this not just as the top women’s belt in this company, but among the top prize in EAW.
 
I can sense the hunger from the two of you like two 400-pounders waddling into KFC buffet, but isn’t it funny that even that would be enough. Even that insatiable need you have to be at the top and to be champion isn’t going to be enough to help the two of you overthrow me and end this reign as the champion? I know how the two of you think. I know the dreams you’re both having at night when you think about the end of this match. But I know the way this match really ends. I know what I signed up for with Aria. I know what I’m dealing with when it comes to Stephanie and Meow. And I know exactly what it takes to come out on the other side of this match with a win. I get the fact that this match is monumental for everyone in it. Only one person can come out of this match as the Women’s Champion. It’s going to be me. I know again how hard you three roll your eyes when I start spouting confidence. But don’t deny my confidence is a fuel like none other you’ve seen. It’s not a false confidence. Every time it’s been described that way it has backfired on my opponents. Without fail. Anything can happen in this match. We can have everything from the obscenely crazy to the completely normal and every absurd thing in between with Meow’s ass hanging around the outside. But it only ends one way. It ends with both of you sitting in that arena in Seattle and wondering how you failed this unbelievable opportunity to be at the top of an Empire. It ends with me waltzing out of Seattle with that crown snugly on my head, and this title firmly around my waist. You just gotta deal with that ladies, because that’s just the way it’s going to be.

 
[April Song, dressed in black jeans, white blouse and a black coat, walks through the mostly quiet Milan city streets. She had planned to catch a flight back to the United States but was prompted by a call from her benefactor to remain in the area. This benefactor had arranged for April to meet someone who had experience in a Grand Rampage-style match and could impart some wisdom onto the former Air Force pilot as she prepared for the monumental task ahead. Soon, she heard a loud blaring of noise and the revving of an engine coming to life, the other patrons of the sparsely-walked sidewalk turning their heads as a red Lamborghini Centenario made its way through the area. Soon April’s ears were treated (or tortured, in her view) to a rousing rendition of a song that may be familiar to some EAW fans’ well-trained ears.]




 
 
 


[April stopped for a moment as a light drizzling rain started to fall, the car slowing down in accordance with her walk. As soon as Song was about to turn towards the car and demand an explanation for the behavior, the driver’s door opened and revealed a smiling Erica Ford.]


Erica: Yo…so I hear you’re a noobie in EAW who is struggling a bit. A mutual friend sent me to you to give you a hand. And you may want to hop in because I don’t think this weather is going to get much better.


April: I appreciate the offer and all but…. exactly who the fuck are you?


Erica: Well damn…. They told me you were a little bit on the short and sweet side when it came to words. Not to mention blunt as a dull butter knife. Anyway, I used to wrestle in EAW. The name is Erica Ford.


April: Being polite is not a strength of mine. Look, I appreciate the concern but I prefer to walk alone. I’ll just keep going about my way, thank you.


[Before Erica could utter a word in protest her phone rings.]


Erica: Hello? Yeah. I’m there. She was easy to spot, like you said. Well I offered her a ride but she’s not interested…. Well I can’t MAKE her get in the car. Look, I’m retired from that wrestling stuff, I’m no good in a fight right now. I’m out of practice. Plus, she’s a submission machine! Fine. I’ll give it to her…… (Holds the phone in April’s general direction.) Wants to speak to you.


(Reluctantly, April took the phone from Erica and waits for the person on the line to speak. Soon she hears the distorted sound of clapping before the voice, distorted and stricken with a bit of a chuckle, begins to speak.)


????????: Well done. You finally did something you were told for a change. You are still making progress towards the goal we had in mind but we still very much see the need for improvement. Therefore, Erica has been sent, to educate you a little on the hell you’re about to go through. It is like nothing you have ever experienced before, Song. It’s a living hell for your body and your mind. You must be emotionally and physically prepared for everything that can come your way. I understand that Erica is a bit…. odd. That’s one reason why I hired her. I know you’re not used to accepting help but at least get in the fucking car and hear the girl out. Flying her out there wasn’t expensive and I’m sure she’s done something crazy with some of the extra spending money she was given.


(April, while not trusting Erica entirely, decides to get in the car at last. Maybe it was her own curiosity about the Grand Rampage that reeled her in or perhaps the increasing intensity of the rainy mist that had befallen the streets of Milan. Soon, the two young women speed off in the powerful vehicle into the rainy Italian night.)


April: You have outstanding taste in cars but absolutely shitty taste in music.


Erica: You have good fashion sense but the manners of an old goat.


April: Alright, I’ll bite, how can you help me, hmm? What do you know about this Grand Rampage?


Erica: Well…. I was in one last year!


April: Good for you, I’m guessing you didn’t win.


Erica: Good guess. I was in there for a while though. I drew the number that you want to avoid, Number One. Well, you want to BE Number One in EAW eventually, I guess? But that is probably one time you definitely absolutely positively don’t want to be number one. Hearing that announcer scream your name while you walk out in front of a stadium of thousands upon thousands of people. The cheers, they rise like a storm! I was the first person out there and I had to take that long walk down the aisle. Then I had to wait for my first opponent. Grace Izumi came out. Those violins in her entrance theme! That shit gives me chills just thinking about it. Those were fun days….


April: How were you eliminated?


Erica: You don’t want to hear about me eliminating people and surviving until most of the field was gone? Fine…. Cailin Dillon dumped me out. Somebody who you know as an “Ace” was a friend of mine and someone I tried to mentor. She had been eliminated in pretty deplorable fashion thanks to Eris LeCava and Heart Break Gal, I think it was. When she went out, I lost the fucking plot. Cailin just snuck up behind me and dumped me right out. There was nothing personal in it from her end but I was furious. The sad irony about that was that the person I thought was a good friend turned out to be a backstabbing bitch who left me at the mercy of the Sanatorium. I think in my heart…that was the first night I really wanted to quit wrestling…. I just couldn’t really reconcile after that, honestly.


April: Being betrayed is tough. I’m sorry that happened. But, you shouldn’t have given up on your aim of being a champion.


Erica: Well, I didn’t give up entirely. Some of it was just my body. I went through hell trying to exact revenge on Azumi. I got it, but my body paid a pretty hefty price. You try being perfectly fine after falling off a steel cage to the arena floor and landing on your neck. Other injuries piled up and Cleopatra didn’t help matters. I thought it was better to walk away than be wheeled away. Enough about me though. You’re the one who is going to have to go through hell now. I hear they expanded the field now so that there are 20 competitors instead of the 12 that we had last year. Fitness doesn’t look like it’s going to be an issue for you but I would recommend doing some good cardio just to make sure you know where you’re at. Question…do you have any friends in EAW?


April: Not really.


Erica: Good. Friends only really drag you down in the long run, at least in wrestling. Sooner or later someone is going to get greedy or get ambitious beyond what you’re aiming for. People that I thought were friends and mentors had a habit of turning on me. Looking back on it I must have been stupid not to notice.


April: Mentor? Who was your mentor?


Erica: Well, she wasn’t a mentor necessarily but Madison Kaline was someone I really had a great deal of respect for. Then…. when she didn’t win the Vixens title, as it was known then…. she just fucking snapped. I tried my hardest to break her out of what she was going through but she pushed me away. I hear she’s as pompous as ever.


April: Hear? As if you don’t watch that shit still! I can tell just seeing your expression when you talk that you’re still whimsical and nostalgic about it.


Erica: Wrestling was my life. Aunty wrestled. Several people in my dad’s family wrestled. My best friend in the world wrestled. It’s in my blood, you know? But…. I’ve got no complaints at the end of it. I lived my dream of being a wrestler and got to share the ring with some of the best in the world. Even beat a World Champion once. That was cool.


April: I’m sure it was. I don’t know of anyone in my family that even watched wrestling, let alone participate in it. My parents always though wrestling was a bad influence.


Erica: What do they think now?


April:……………………


Erica: Oh. OHHHHHHH. I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to-


April: You didn’t know. Drop it.


(The two of them share an awkward, tense silence for a few moments as Erica continues to drive them down the street.)


Erica: You know something funny about Madison? She thinks she’s smart but she’s really not! I mean, did you hear her the other day? “I’m like President Donald Trump! I get things done! Durr!” What has she gotten done lately, huh? Grab Stephanie or Alexis by the pussy? Did the court system tell her that her plan to keep Sophia Rose on the shelf was Unconstitutional? Did she have resignations within her administration because they were either too corrupt or too stupid to do the job? Is it a good day for her when she doesn’t completely stick her foot in her mouth? Can she be fact-checked and proven wrong at the speed of a fucking Garchomp using Dragon Rush? She’s like Donald Trump in a lot of ways. She won big and got to sit on top for a while, but she’ll always be remembered for being a blundering mess when it mattered most.


April: ……Garchomp? Translate. I don’t speak nerd or idiot fluently. And I get it…you don’t like Trump. I don’t either but honestly the voting choices were slim. I honestly wrote in my Seventh-Grade gym teacher’s name for getting me interested in jujitsu.


Erica: Um…. Pokémon reference.


April: Whatever. Well, she’s kicked your ass a few times but it seems like you gave as good as you got.


Erica: Not really. But beating her that one time was enough to really know what gets under her skin. She can’t stand not being the center of someone’s universe. She loves being an attention whore. Honestly, never let her see you upset. She uses that as her “bitch fuel”. No matter what happens during the match or after it, keep a positive attitude. I’m not expecting Pollyanna or anything, but a smile would suffice.


April: What do you know about my other opponents?


Erica: I wouldn’t trust Azumi as far as I could throw this car we’re riding in. Same goes with Haruna. Not that I think Haruna is dishonest like Goto is, but she’s a little too eccentric for my taste. And when you’re a little eccentric for MY taste, you reside in a realm of weird that is beyond human comprehension. Alexis has improved so much…. though I’m kinda confused as to how she’s got a kid at her age! Like when did she have this girl!?


April: You know…. never mind….


Erica: The Eva sisters are damn good. You’ve been in the ring with Consuela I know. She’s rapidly progressing. And then there is Cameron. She’s earned every bit of her reputation. I wrestled her in that same tournament where I beat Madison. I had been through the ringer by the time I got to face her. I got jumped twice after matches and doctors basically told me if I wanted to wrestle they were washing their hands of it as far as clearance was concerned. I really feel disgusted by how that match played out. My spirit was still strong and I wanted to compete…. but I just couldn’t. My body was powerless……


(April watches silently as Erica speaks through clenched teeth, gripping the steering wheel tight enough so that her knuckles appear to turn white.)  


Erica: Of all the people that I’ve fought, I would want just one more crack at Cameron. Not for glory or anything, but just to put myself at the measuring stick and see where I came up…She’s probably your best opponent here, her sis notwithstanding. Be damn well prepared if you cross her. You’re a good soldier, pilot and jujitsu fighter but she may be the greatest pro wrestler ever.


April:…. What about La Diva?


(Erica groaned a bit, shaking her head with a laugh.)


Erica: Batshit fucking crazy, that one is. She’s alright in the ring I guess. She always kept asking people about Pain for Pride PPV. Honestly, you’re on your own when it comes to most of the newer breed. I’ve never seen the division so strong and robust before. It’s really a chance for you to shine and show that you can compete on the big stage!


April: I guess. I’m still…. falling in love with wrestling, so to speak. Just hearing you and people like Sophia and Megan and Laura talk about wrestling is enough to make me try to understand it and appreciate it.


Erica: Love wrestling, huh? From what I heard, you weren’t particularly sold on the idea when you first got the job. Life in EAW is changing your mind?


April: A little. I’m not used to being settled in one place. Ever since I graduated high school and went to Colorado Springs to join the Air Force I haven’t spent more than two months at home. I’ve either been in school, deployed, or working overseas. EAW is like that. It’s really forced me to open up to people to. Not just the sponsors and interviewers but people who randomly see me on the street. Hell, more people have spotted me from wrestling than would come up to me when I was in my Air Force uniform back in the day. In a weird way, though, all the chaos and craziness makes me feel at home. I have something to fight for now, something to compete for.


Erica: ………. I don’t know if I should bring it up, but I overheard a conversation. Some of the people that we both work for were concerned that your drinking was getting a little out of hand…


April: (laughing) GETTING? I’ve been on the sauce since I got deployed the first time. Seeing some of the shit I saw will drive the most straight edge kid you know to get drunk, high or blow his brains out. Runs in the family though. I know my mom was one and I’m sure one of my dad’s brothers is in prison to this day for a drunk-driving crash that killed someone about 20 years ago, I do my best to keep this in check but hey, accidents happen.


Erica: Sorry….


April: Don’t be.


Erica: Look, I’m not the best wrestler ever. Hell, I wasn’t even the best wrestler in three tag teams. All I can tell you, my friend, is to do your absolute best. Don’t let all this chatter about who deserves what and who is gunning for who distract you from the goal that you have in range, the Empire Cup. You go and win that this weekend and you’ll have something that can’t ever be touched. Not by primadonnas, not by psychopaths, not by the best wrestlers in the world, and not by fucking nutcase General Managers. You’ll have that moment forever. I had some big wins in my career and if I could trade all the days I have left in my life for a chance to go back and get just ONE trophy or title to my name I would. I love wrestling that much.


April: Some people would consider that fucking crazy, but I consider it cool. I’ll never judge someone for feeling strongly about something. The only people who are failures in my eyes are the ones who don’t devote themselves to the task they want to pursue entirely.


(And so, the two spent the next several hours driving through the streets, learning about each other’s history and discussing strategy for the Grand Rampage match. While Erica is not the best teacher and April not the greatest student in the world, April begins to learn and understand even more that wrestling may be where her heart lies. Although there are hard challenges ahead and the odds nowhere near her favor, Song remains dedicated to seeking victory. After being dropped off at her hotel, April bids Erica goodbye before the former competitor speeds off. When Song arrived in her room, she found a bottle of her favorite beverage (Kaoliang liquor) and a short note attached.)

Lucas, you need to start setting your sights on attainable goals. You want a clothing line even though you have no since of style. You want a private jet even though nobody would book your ass, except maybe Sebastian Monroe or one of his puppets. You want to hold something as prestigious as the Interwire championship even though you are just simply not up to snuff. What a man of your skills should be focusing on is trying to reach Lettuce washer at McDonalds.


Face it Lucas, you're just not Championship material. That's why you have spent months on end digging, and clawing, and whining, and bitching about wanting a title match, instead of actually you know earning one. You're totally pathetic, thinking you're amongst the true elite of this company because you catch a fluke win every once in a great while. Because anyone can catch a lucky break on any given night, but true greats are the ones who night in and night out put on the show stopping performances. Who go out and pull off a win in convincing fashion just about every time out. The true greats are the men who can actually get the job done when they get their opportunities. That's what separates a chump like you from a an all star like me.

Come on down Luke, lock up with me one more time and let's see if you can go two for two against absolute perfection. Go ahead and lock me in that Machine Break bullcrap, broken arm or not, nothing is going to stop me from getting that Interwire title match. Because bones will heal, but holding a championship, that will last forever.

I keep hearing about how much of a tough guy this Atiliano Castillos is. But for the life of me, I haven't heard a peep out of him since this match was announced. I bet you he's shaking in his shoes wishing he could back out of this match. That he could find a rock to hide under so that he doesn't have to be outright embarrassed by the unequaled ass kicking he's about to receive. Atiliano is about to learn that it doesn't matter how hard you hit, or how fast you can strike, when you get your head planted into the mat via a Picture Perfect, all that you're gonna be able to do is stare up at the lights while I'm getting my hand raised in Victory.

That's what happens to a no talent punk when he steps in the ring with the unquestioned greatest professional wrestler this company has ever seen! He becomes a mop, because I'm gonna wipe the floor up with him. After this Friday Atiliano will wish he had just stuck to trading crack for blowjobs, or vice versa, I'm not entirely sure with him. After that final bell has is finished ringing, Castillos will forever be known as overrated, overhyped, underdeveloped son of a bitch who got exposed as such because he thought he could hang with Mark Michaels.


Speaking of guys who think they could hang, let's talk about Methuselah for a moment. The guy who's a pediphile one moment, a granny fucker the next, and by this time next month a tranny hooker connoisseur, and even then no one would lay the guy. How is it that this joker thinks he can still try and run that hokey mystic crap anymore? Has he been drinking his own goddamn kool-aid? He must be if he keeps running his mouth about some kind of God of flies. Live on Dynasty, I'm gonna do him a favor and wake him up and get him to quit yammering on and on about this bullshit he's been taking, by beating his ass from bell to bell.


Because when you step into the ring with Mark Michaels, all the fantasies you dream up in your playtime get kicked right out the door. And all that's left is is the undeniable truth that Mark Michaels stands head and shoulders over each and every bastard who is dumb enough to even think about trying to best me in the ring.

Let's see these so called powers that you have been granted. Let your creepy hentai monster God just try to wrap his tenticles around me, if he even has enough balls to even try. The biggest and brightest burning star that this company has seen, or ever will see. The man who is the personification of greatness, and the embodiment of Perfection. Simply put the greatest professional athlete to ever grace an EAW ring with his presence, who is done with waiting and ready to take what is due to him. I like to think my penchant for violence is overshadowed by my need to challenge the unknown. Can Stephanie Matsuda beat Aria Jaxon in a ladder match? This is my current problem. I'm devoted to this competition - it's the first thing I think of when waking up and the last thought I have before succumbing slumber's sweet embrace. It is my mantra, my temporary religion, my daunting research question. Well, here's my hypothesis: when you apply a ladder match to the equation of Jaxon v. Matsuda, the latter will always come out on top. That ladder tomorrow night is a stairway to heaven, a one-way ticket to proving that I am here to stay. I have to clear my mind of all doubt. Once I cross this line, there’s no going back. Everything that I will do to her in that ring serves a purpose: achieve immortality.

(The scene opens up to Mao walking down the street, taking in the active Warsaw nightlife. Cloud is nowhere in sight.)

Good evening EAW universe. I’m about to show you something special here in downtown Warsaw; something few people get to see. My client has a lot on her mind, to the point where even training couldn’t quell the confusion in her heart. It’s never easy fighting the ones you love, even if that love isn’t as strong as it once was. So I advised my client to pursue a passion she has long put aside

(Mao stops in front of a small coffeehouse)

Music.

(The camera follows Mao inside the coffeehouse where a twenty-something crowd is watching a woman walk on stage with an acoustic guitar. The camera zooms in to show that it’s Stephanie Matsuda!)

As members of the War Party already know, Matsuda-san used to be in a band called the Sky Pirates. When her wrestling career took off, the band took a temporary hiatus, and Cloud stopped making music.

(Cloud sits down, adjusting the guitar strings)

But that didn’t stop her from playing. In fact, two specific women on the Empire roster would love to hear her play from time to time. My client doesn’t know I’m here, but I want the EAW universe to witness this - I want Aria to see this. She’s played this for you before. She said it’s one of your favorite songs of all time.

(Cloud tests the strings and starts to play)


This was one of the first cover songs Steph learned by heart. She learned it because it brought Aria such joy. She played this song to bring her friend happiness. This was several years prior of course, but I would catch her playing it from time to time. In the depths of her heart, she still misses you Aria. But, when you force someone in a corner, there’s only so much they can take. What did you expect my client to do? Lie down and let scheming skanks and jealous Joshi's walk over her warrior spirit? The universe pushed and Matsuda fought back in kind. For that, she sacrificed her old life. There’s no going back for Cloud Matsuda. She aligned herself with those who would encourage her new crusade - one where she would never be hurt again. That’s what it’s all about Ms. Jaxon. Cloud’s tired of the hurt - and not just the pain she received from you. You remember how you brought up Eddie? Well, nobody’s heard a peep from that guy in a while. If I’m not mistaken, he was a no-show at an event in Mexico. I wonder what happened - oh! She’s about to start!

“Remember those walls I built

And they didn't even put up a fight

(Whispers to the camera) 

Stephanie did what she could to build her walls after Haruna Sakazaki, and Mexican Samurai left her vulnerable in the middle of Tokyo, in front of her friends and family. She relied on those she trusted to get her through it - and they did - for a time. 

“I found a way to let you in
But I never really had a doubt
Standing in the light of your halo
I got my angel now.”

Stephanie gave her heart to you, to Cailin, and what you both represented - at least what she thought you did. If I went back in time and told Cloud what would become of her, she would’ve never believed me. It’s ironic because her rivals teased at the idea of a Formation breakup. They predicted that you would betray her, but she didn’t listen. Foolish on her part, but that’s what friendship is for right?

Every rule I had you breaking
It's the risk that I'm taking
I ain't never gonna shut you out.”

This has a ring of irony to it. Her awakening could have happened at Pain for Pride. That Lapis Lazuli heard around the world was like a shock to the system. From there on out she could never shut out the feeling of betrayal from her heart. The risk, as it relates to Stephanie, would be joining Sanatorium and turning her back on the EAW universe.

(Mao closes her eyes, as Cloud continues to play)

In another time this could be referenced to several people. But we’ll leave that alone for the moment. Aria, yet again you expose your immaturity. In your point of view, everyone’s either jealous of you or doesn’t even matter to register in that tiny brain of yours. Aria Jaxon: Heroine of the Millennials. You’re the poster child for the “Mean Girls Generation,” a proud product of deflecting shade while bringing up old shit with a spit shine and declaring it new. Okay, Christina Colombus what else do you get for us?  What new trend will you start next? How many times will you claim you’ll make up for your sorry thirty days as a world champion? “But Cloud only held the title for thirty days!” Yes back, but at least she has a successful defense under her belt. I want you to listen carefully to the background because that’s your swan song sweets. This is ratchet attitude of yours is doing you no favors. Do you want to be tough? You have no idea what true strength means. You’re not going to be in there with someone the brass expects you to pass. In the words of our so-called esteemed champion Cloud was “never meant to be here.” She was never intended to get this far in a Western promotion. Here she is, just a day away from ruining your dreams. Any ounce of sentiment she had for you will die when the last chord of this song is played. Her eyes will be cold, and her hands set to destroy. She’s put people out of commission before - this is nothing new to her.

(Cloud finishes the song, and bows slightly as the fans applaud her. She takes off her guitar and walks off stage towards Mao, who turns to the camera.)

Welp, time to end our little private discussion. Cloud’s gonna be miffed about this, but I just wanted to shed a bit of light on things - not that you care Ms. Jaxon. Anywho, sayonara!

(The camera fades as Mao walks up to Cloud.)

 
 
Fight forever. Yes, we absolutely will fight each other for the rest of our lives. Let’s not get caught up in the future or self-proclamations of lasting Hall of Fame legacies. My duty to myself has always been the same: I will fight with everything I have and history will take care of the rest. History’s been pretty damn good to me lately. I won’t deny that, not one bit. I understand what makes you tick this way, Aria. I know the thoughts that cross your mind late at night when you lay your head on that pillow. Your eyes wide open, staring at the clock because your mind won’t stop working. It won’t shut off when you want it to. You just want to close your eyes and sleep, but the answers haven’t presented themselves. This match is one of those answers you seek. It’s truly you that’s seeking the validation here. I can empathize with you because I know exactly how you feel. Not necessarily on the side of needing validation, but that ticking clock that keeps you up at night. Let me tell you though, baby girl, winning this title won’t make that stop. That clock ticks because your blood boils with the need to fight like you’re running out of time. It will never stop. You want to know why I was always up so early and working so late in that gym? Some clocks tick even louder than the rest. Mine can be ear deafening. But I’m content with it. All I know is fighting. All I know is pushing myself beyond my limits. I’m hardly the first person to take this approach, I know it. But for whatever reason, I’m so damned good at it. So even while you’re standing over there making demands and promises about our match, completely telling me how it’s going to work in your favor, I have no fear. For I am the most resilient bitch you know and ever will know. I know this match means a lot to you. I think this match means maybe even more to me. If you think I’m content with my status as a champion and with your pandering to me by telling me I’ve represented this title well in my month as a belt holder. That’s not enough for me. I’m just at the beginning of what I’m going to do with this title. You say your chapter as champion is on the verge of being written. I’m drop kicking your unfinished chapter into the fireplace and starting a fire. My time isn’t over. This is still my time. I’m only get started, Aria. Maybe we do fight forever and beat the living shit out of each other until our careers come to a close. But this week I’m winning this epic battle of attrition. I’m taking that title home with me.
 
If this week leading up has proven anything, it’s that old flames don’t die down. We will always be coming at each other this same way, with this same unbelievable passion to be on top of the games. Maybe the reasons are a little bit different, but the motivation is unending. You’re right that when there’s more on the line I seem to elevate what I do to an entirely different level. I’m not about to suffer a let down. You borrowed off of me about having to be stretchered up the ramp with that title lying across your shoulder. It’s quite a thing to picture. You talking about your Hall of Fame future and that video montage must include in your mind that ultimate image of you clutching the title as they fucking air lift my near dead body to the fucking hospital. That won’t be happening. They will have to strap me to a gurney and keep me from moving my arms and legs if they hope to have a chance in hell of getting me out of there without that title over my shoulder. Because if I have to drag that thing right back to the ramp by a handcuffed wrist in order to fight you until my last breath, I will. I understand this is supposed to be a war. I know this is what we both signed up for. When we arrived here practically together, we were smart enough to look at each other and know this moment was our destiny. No matter how good of friends we were or how bitter of enemies we became, this is what we would do. There’s nothing wrong with fighting forever, but I will never be content with stepping aside for you as you battle your way past me. And I will never settle for being on even ground with you either. This isn’t anything against you, Aria, it’s just the way I was built to operate. I love the fight, I crave the competition and I can’t stop fighting to be the best. Something has to give. Everyone says it. I won’t be the one that gives in. I won’t be the one that loses her way.
 
I became your Empress for a reason. I took over where you left off and, as always, I improved upon it. I raised the Specialist’s Championship into meaning something. I saw through with the Empress title how it was always meant to go. And now I hold in my hands the real prize, the real baby I’ve been asked to raise. Everything we ever did to this point, this means more. They called that a revolution? This is the real revolution. I will not stand above everyone as the cruel ruler that tried to change the way things are done before. I will lead this division by example and I will put down an iron boot if needed. Maybe you have all the hopes and dreams that come along with the Disney Land fantasies that dance up inside of your head, but the reality that comes next will be less exciting for you. We all have hopes and dreams and aspirations, but there aren’t all meant to come to fruition. You have to make them happen, we both know that. Only one of us can have our dreams come true. Only one of us will have our dreams become reality. Aria I hope we do fight forever. I wanted this match for a reason. I know what I’m getting myself into. I understand what happens if I don’t bring my A game. But that’s not going to happen. I came here to win, Aria. This match has multiple potential outcomes, but the truth is it’s only going to end one way. Cailin Dillon walks in the women’s World Champion, and she walks out the reigning, defending Women’s World Champion. You just have to deal with it, Aria.
 
King of Elite is the next step for this whole division. All eyes will be on us when we take that ring. How far we’ve come that the men take the posters, they take the name of the event, but we both know full and well that the attention is on us. Everyone wants to be the King in this company. But they don’t realize the Queen is the one that rules the world. It didn’t used to be that way, but we made it that way. It was never supposed to work like that, but I made sure it was the only way it could. This new title is the ultimate symbol of that. The sign that things have finally changed for the better for the women in this company. Aria you need to know that your loss this week will not be in vain. This moment will be remembered forever. People will look back on this one as the time they knew for sure that the women had taken over EAW. Some out there think I have an ego and believe Empire is my Empire. EAW is our Empire. What’s happening right now we all created together. But only one of us gets to stand alone at the top. Spoiler alert, it’s going to be me.

Sunday, Buffalo, New York, 7:39 p.m.


(The scene opens backstage at the First Niagara center. It's here in a long stretching corridor that we find a figure clad in a long black trench coat, with his back to the camera.)

???: "The small, few, precious, moment between triumphs, and tragedies, that is what we call life. Though seemingly endless in number, they are always fleeting. Though often of little note, they are what shape and form us all. They are the moments of anxious waiting. They are the moments of frenzied excitement. They are the moments just before your outstretched hand begins to wrap around and clutch the sought after prize that you have chased after, or the moments before the trap you have laid is sprung and crushes down upon the rat that had been a hinderance for far too long. These are the moments that should be cherished by the ignorant heathens like Mike Showman, for soon, far sooner than they realize..."


(The figure turns to face the camera and reveals himself to be none other than Solomon Caine.)


Caine: "Those moment shall be swallowed up by the flood of fire."

(Slowly Caine begins to step forward towards the camera, whose operator recalls the numerous individuals who were in the wrong place at the wrong time when Caine snapped, begins to backpedal so as to keep a healthy distance away from Him. Solomon keeps his pace, occasionally scanning with his eyes from side to side along the hall.)

Caine: "Do you understand yet Showman? Will you even try to? How is it that you can hear the words I speak so clearly, yet have not a shred of comprehension as to their meaning? How is it that you can seek me out as Jon McAdams had, and likened yourself to a great hunter as you tracked my footsteps as he had. and after doing all this, how is it that you hope to avoid the same fate suffered? Such confusion rests inside you, for even though I have said plainly that I speak not in riddles to be solved, nor code to be deciphered, that even such a simple message cannot be interpreted by you."

(Caine pauses for a moment. And gently taps his head at the temple with his index finger several times.)

Caine: "I tell you it is because you are soft and weak in your mind..."

(Caine stops tapping.)

Caine: "... You been made so by the years of having your ego spoon fed with every whim and desire that your evil heart could dream. And in doing so, you fooled yourself into believing that you possess actual power. The only thing you possess is the silver and glory of that had been handed to you without so much as a drop of sweat forming upon your brow. What would become of you without your earthly riches? Would even that filth McAdams remain bound to you? I say onto you no! For without your money you are nothing. Do you hear me? For all your boasting of your skills, and all the taunting of how you are superior to all whom stand in your path, you would crumble away to dust the moment your money could not aid you. For while you may be able to buy the souls of men like Carson Ramsey, all the money in this world will not be able buy even a single second to add to the sum of your life. Money is not a god, for it was not silver nor gold that brought forth their will against Drastik. It was not coins or bills that twisted you two heathens into the proper place at the appointed hour. Nor was it what lead to McAdams down fall to Maero. Nor shall it be what bring about your destruction at my hands.


You ask me for peace, you ask me for solace, but you continue to utter horrible blasphemies against the ones who are sending me. So why should a rotten wretch as yourself be allowed even a moment of rest from their wrath chasing after you? No I say that you shall be haunted by the presence of my masters for all eternity and beyond. Even after you have been made into nothing more that dust that shall be swept away by the gentlest of breezes, even then you shall find my masters seeking you out, and crushing you, fragment by fragment. That shall be the price you pay for the evils you have committed onto them time and again. And the beginning of your ultimate fate of sorrow and despair begins tonight!

For Tonight you shall be made to see the truth, tonight once my masters have brought about their will against you, you shall see that this world, that the masses bare great strife and anguish over, is but a vivid dream that has entangled the minds of men in its giant web. That all the glories they seek. All the goals they chase. All the great works and petty tasks they labor over. It is all an illusion that shall come shattering down upon their heads when the ones who have sent me break thru and set forth upon their glorious reign.

And you, you Mike Showman, you cannot stop them, no one can. No, I say that a waking piece of filth such as yourself, nor a bastard leech such as Jon McAdams, nor any of the men who would try and steal away the crown of elite shall be able to resist them when the hour of their choosing arrives. At the crowning of the King Of Elite, my masters shall capture the next piece to bringing about the flood of fire that shall cleanse this world of you thieving piles of dog droppings. Oh how I long to see that great and terrible day. Oh how with its arrival you all shall come to your senses, and open your eyes after you have felt firsthand the power my masters wield.

When each of you have felt but that mere touch, that single drop that falls from their fingers, how you shall all cry out for mercy. How your screams begging for them to pardon you for the atrocities you have committed, they will pay you as much kind then, as you pay them now. And how your screams shall grow even louder when you are met with the end of ages.

So continue on Mike Showman, let your tongue filled with poisonous disease, spill forth its infectious heresy to whom ever would listen to it. Let your proud boasting build you up. Let the pride that has wrapped around your eyes like a vale, fool you into thinking you are a great hunter, when in truth you are prey that has fallen into my nest. For tonight all these things shall fall upon your neck like a guillotine. And when that sentence has been carried out, you will have well earned it."

(Caine slows his stride as he comes to stop in the middle of the hall.)

Caine: "And now hhhheeerrreee wwwweeeee aaarreeeee. Mere moments from our fates intersecting once again. Moments from the pain and suffering we both must feel. Moments that shall lead us to our ultimate destinies. Savor them like fine wine. Inhale them as if they were the final breath you would take in this life. Clutch onto them as if they are the only things you had left in this world. Because these moments shall define legacies for both of us. Mine of the servant who has done well by his masters and given the reward of life. And yours of a fool who had slandered, and taunted, and provoked powers far greater than he could ever comprehend being rewarded with his total and ultimate destruction. For all these things, they have told me, and they must be so."

(Caine turns and enters a locker room with The Sanitorium's logo posted on the door. The camera catches a glimpse of the members of brotherhood greet him with acknowledging nods and hushed tones, before the door closes leaving the viewers left outside.)

Friday, Portland, Maine, 11:44 p.m.

(The scene opens alongside the Portland waterfront, where the salty sea waters meet the land with the old bay harbor far in the distance. It's here on the sand that We find Solomon Caine, sitting down with his knees pulled into his chest gazing out across the horizon into the nothingness.)

Caine: "Glory and Gold. How they seduce the masses. How whoever possess enough shall command their attention and be made as a king. It is a mighty temptation that has entangled many in its web. Countless is the number of those who have sought power, only to find disaster brought on them by their own hubris. I examined myself, and all of my own desires I cast into the sea, for I do not seek my own power, or glory. I seek not adulation, nor earthly riches, for I know that all these thing will be torn away from those who clutch on to them. No, all that I seek is refuge from the flood of fire, one that shall make the oceans boil, one that shall lay waste to all that lays upon the earth, and one that shall crumble the great works of empires. No I set forth on the path towards the king of elite, not for my own immortality, but for my own salvation.

The road before me is treacherous, and beset with many hardship along its way. I shall have to prove myself worthy of bringing forth the words of my masters. The secrets they have whispered in my ear with sweet voices. The truth that they spoke of this world and how blind it is. The wrath which must be poured out in full measure, because of the wickedness of the heathens that have infected and corrupted all who live and breath. But at the end of ages, he who has served shall remembered, shall be spared.

Whoever hears my words, listen well, for they are not mindless rambling, nor are they idle threats. They are not empty nor hallow as wretches like Kenny Drake have claimed they are. For pathetic fools like him, they are so convinced that the what little have shall keep them safe on the day of the glorious reign. They believe it because their lives have been devoted to meaningless dreams that they have chased since their youth. Goals and pursuits that only serve as distractions from the truth of how empty and fruitless their efforts are. Whether it would be the grand works they have built with their hands, or the acquisition of various glories for their amazing feats, or even the gathering of souls to their cause, in time all that they have dedicated their lives to shall crumble away before their very eyes. That is why these Heathens make light of the warnings, that is why they disregard them without so much as moment's reflection upon them. It is why this world must be leveled to the its foundations, so that on the day of my masters' coming, the world shall know the reality of that which they kneel before. Whether it be coin, or cloth, or prizes of gold for their victories, or even their quest for power.


This power that is sought in the pursuit of immortality, it is in truth the bringer of woe and misfortune for those who are foolish enough to try and steal it away from those who have sent me. For the crown of Elite, it belongs to my masters. For it is the herald of their coming, it is the sign that shall be giving unto the wicked that they might see the truth. That the ones who are coming, only they are worthy of the praise for their deeds, they are those who should be honored by masses kneeling before them, they are the ones who can save! DO YOU UNDERSTAND?!? DO ANY OF YOU HEAR MY VOICE?!? WHEN WILL YOU OPEN YOUR EYES AND AWAKEN FROM YOUR SLUMBER?! WHEN SHALL YOU REMOVE THE BLINDFOLD FROM YOUR EYES?!

When shall you turn your heads away from that poisonous snake Kenny Drake who with his venomous tongue twist and perverts the truth, sways the thoughts of men, and deceives himself into believing that he would have even the slightest hope of standing against my masters' will, and resisting the power the wield. Kenny, this Sunday you shall be the next who is called to be sacrificed upon their altar. When you are, there will be no way for you twist their will into your glory. There shall be no place where you can lick your wounds as the world forgets your history. And there shall be no chance of you furthering your quest to steal away their crown. For all of these thing the have told me, and they must be so."


(Caine stands up and walks till his ankles are submerged in the fridged cold water. He stand there and begins to murmur incoherently as he looks up to the sky.)

(The scene opens inside Balance Fitness, in Washington D.C., where amongst the many patrons inside the upscale gym Which features a Boxing/Wrestling ring, full size swimming pool, and a large crossfit section, we find EAW's Social Media Champion, "Picture Perfect" Mark Michaels, finishing up his last set of bench presses.)
 
Michaels: "Eight... Nine... Ten... e-eleven... Ttt- twelve!"
 
(Michaels racks the heavy barbell before bringing himself together a sitting position on the bench.)
 
 
Michaels: "You know what, there is almost nothing I like better than pushing myself past my limits. Whether it's in the gym with an extra set, or on social media trying to get more people taking about all the different causes that I've been trying to promote awareness for, or even in the ring when you have a guy who is an absolute master of his particular style, and I'm able to not only keep up with him, but maybe even show him up a bit. Now Kelly I'd like to take this opportunity to say to you that so far I've considered this a friendly little jousting session between us, trust me when Mark Michaels goes to war you'll know it, because I take no prisoners, and I don't except surrender. So yes I've been repeating myself a bit over this past week, but that's just me giving you fair warning because when that bell rings, you my friend are in for an ass kicking that you won't soon forget. See I don't need to drag the match out of the ring to have the advantage, every square inch of the arena is my backyard. And whether it's countering your headlock takeover with head scissors, or planting you into the mat with an earth shattering spinebuster, the fact is that you never know what I'll be throwing at you next when we're in that ring.  One moment I’ll be giving you a lesson in how to pop your hips just right to get the most out of a suplex, the next I’ll be more than happy to knock your teeth back down your throat.  One moment I’ll be coming off the top rope, the next I’ll be tossing you around like a sack of potatoes.  Because while you’re talking up about how your gonna execute a game plan, I know that there’s no way you could plan around a guy who can change up his style in a split second and turn the whole match on it’s head.
 
Now don't get me wrong, I know full well that you've learned a thing or two overseas, and that you came up the hard way to EAW, and I respect the hell out of you for it. But it will take a lot more than a few kicks and some flippy bullshit to have a hope of overcoming Perfection!  And make no mistake about it, that’s exactly what you are facing.  Six feet three inches, two hundred forty pounds, of all American Perfection that’s ready to show a Canadian that the more he flaps his gums like a jackass, the more of my footprint is gonna be left on his ass next week!  So Kelly when you say that your bringing your A-game, it brings a smile to my face, because that’s exactly what you’re gonna need this Friday if you want to keep up with me.
 
Because I ain’t no video game Kelly, I’m the real deal.  I’m the guy who earned his following on social media by chewing up and spitting out guys who thought there were as good as you are, and not being nearly as nice about it as I have been to you.  Go ahead and Ask any of the men who thought they were gonna walk me, how they thought I was  ‘Just an internet celebrity’,  only to be left staring up at the lights in less than a minute while I was getting my hand raised.  Yeah Kelly, I’ll give you the credit your due, you’re a cut above the rest, but at the end of the day your still not enough to beat me, not this week pal, plain and simple. When we square off in the Verizon Center, you are in for an A-list ass kicking, one that your overconfidence is gonna lead you right into.   So go ahead and keep thinking that your just gonna breeze on by me, you won’t be the first, and trust me you end up just like the rest.  Flat on your back for a three second tan!
 
And it will be courtesy of the man who’s spent his entire life working towards becoming the absolute best professional wrestler that is able to draw breath.  The man who works just as hard outside the ring as he does inside it.  The man who has built up a following who have made him an Instagram Icon able to sell out an arena with a single picture.  A twitter Trendsetter able to help a worthy cause reach a goal with one post.  And a hashtag hero to millions of people who I look to help inspire everyday to see that when you work hard and push thru all bullcrap that tries to bring you down can realize even the biggest dreams you have.  And every day those millions of people they inspire me right back with all love and support they show me each and every day, they make this all possible and I go out every night looking to do them proud as their social media Champion. 
 
 
So I’ll go ahead and say it once again.  Best of luck to you this Friday night, and May the best man win, because This week Kelly, the training wheels come off, and you, me, and everyone watching Dynasty will see if you’re actually living up to your potential, or if your just Hacking off!
