“And so it begins”

A friendship was broken thanks to two people similar but yet different goals and an Alliance was forged because three women have one common goal. That’s probably going to be what Bloodletter will be remembered for the most in my eyes. The fall of Aria and Stephanie’s friendship and the rise of three of the most talented, hardworking and the best wrestlers to set foot on Empire.

Oh boy! Questions, questions and so many more questions will be answered on Empire about everything. About why Haruna and I decided to join Sheridan, why attack Tarah Nova and so much more. But know this, everything happening right now is because of one thing. Empire faces the wrath of three women, all hated-filled, ruthless, and cold and anything else that goes along those lines. Just one simple person caused this unity of three queens.

Tarah Nova.

I mean think about it, a woman whose run as an authority figure brought down Empire as a whole. Who looks down on her roster… unless your name is Aria Jaxon but we’ll get to that. Haruna, Sheridan and I are fighting against the system here, the same system that Tarah Nova created for “her show”. The system where only those that show loyalty towards the so-called leader get you your spot at titles we coexist to change that, we coexist for many things but mostly burn Tarah Nova’s image of Empire down and recreate it in the way that it should be. No more focus on the so-called top stars, We have deserved the title opportunities but Nova’s management didn’t give them that, but now we change that. We’re going to change Empire in our image, a better image. No more Golden girls, no more sidekicks, no more of any of that nonsense. We’re vengeful people, that’s simple to understand but I expect everything in my opponent’s response to being about some sort of argument that we haven't worked hard for our shots or that we haven’t done anything to deserve it.

But look at us three, and you get a resume, unlike any others. Sheridan Muller, the last Vixens World Champion, the first and only Vixens Cup winner, the rookie of the year for 2016. Haruna Sakazaki, the first and original Specialist Champion, one of the longest-tenured women in EAW, someone who doesn’t get mentioned for being a backbone of the Vixens Revival. And finally you have me, Azumi Goto, Ace of the World, the first and only Control In The Vault holder, The Unbreakable, the Greatest Wrestler to come out of Japan in ages and simply The Last Great Joshi of Professional Wrestling.

But yet, Empire’s management has kept us away from we have deserved, shots at the champs. After clawing through Empire, I had to give up MY Control In The Vault to get my first ever one-on-one title match for Women’s Title. And months afterward, at Empire’s first ever FPV, after months of proving that I deserve another one-on-one shot at a championship. What do I get? A normal tag team match, against Revy and Empire’s greatest Sidekick.

Who knows, maybe that’s not good enough for the “High & Mighty” Tarah Nova, the “Golden Girl” Aria Jaxon and the broken War Queen Stephanie Matsuda. A team but yet not united like us. Three selfish, greedy women who are supposed to share the spotlight but honestly won’t because for them, there is no kind of unity.

Didn’t I say this was going to happen to you, Steph? That in the end, Aria will put her title over your friendship. If I remember correctly, I did say that… see what happens when you believe in concepts like friendship. That word itself has no literal meaning in this business. Everyone you think as a friend is just waiting to step on your toes, just like Aria has.

Speaking of you, Aria. It’s been a long time since I talked about you… and I’m already bored talking about you. No… I really mean it, people, I’m actually bored of Empire’s Golden Girl, Miss. Fight4What’sRight… and whatever else I think of. For the past whatever amount of time, I can’t really help but roll my eyes at the crap you say. From the bottom of my cold heart, I mean that. You’ve become a shining vanguard for Nova’s Empire. The beacon that symbolizes how to be a champion but yet… that same beacon is just one giant lie. You put your friendship on the chopping block for your title defense. Think of about Aria, now that people have seen THAT side of you, someone who killed her own best friend’s dream of becoming Women’s Champ. Who would ever want to trust you? Who would ever want to see you as self-proclaimed Face of Empire?

Mind you, I said “self-proclaimed”. Just like how your partner is a self-proclaimed War Queen. Look at how things turned out for us, Steph. Now we both own JET together, after so long of both of us wanting to become her true heir, we both now co-own what in your word was our “birthright”. But yet the path towards that was a weird one, sometimes I had respect for you and other times I would roll my eyes at everything you say. But see, for you it may have been a birthright but for me, it was always something I had to fight for. I wasn’t Manami’s pet project like you, I was just another simple Joshi wanting to learn under the tutelage of the woman I idolized. And maybe that’s why I’m the one running the training of JET now, it’s because I know how much you have to go through during the training and etc., I was brought in that exact regiment and became the greatest Joshi of all time, not you, not Manami or anyone in this world will stop that idea, that concept from becoming the actual truth.

So after all this I stand my ground, I didn’t commit a sin of any kind, I just created an Alliance with two women who have gone through just as much as I have. If you believe this just us three being cowards then ask yourself, why were you three in units last year? Here stands a pack of Lionesses, we aren’t united because of Friendship. Sheridan, Haruna and I, we are united for a common goal, not by some broken friendship like our opponents and that’s what matters in this alliance.

If you want to proclaim that as the “righteous” heroes of Empire, you are right and we are wrong then please do so but note that your self-righteous natures won’t help you overcome our unity.

"Honestly, I am a bit surprised you have resorted to silence, Megan. Of all the times to go quiet too. I know we have been playing this game of cat and mouse for a good while now, but seriously? No retort at all? I would say I am disappointed if I didn’t like the change. We’ve been exchanging words for weeks -- months even -- so what we have left in our arsenals are in limited supply. But I know how much you enjoy waiting until the last minute, to get the very last word in. Not this time, crumpet. See, I have become so familiar with you that I know ever personality trait and can read you like a book. I don’t know how I will be able to function on Empire outside of this ever looping pattern. I am sure I will find a method to cope. It is about time I look into different ventures, different opponents, different opportunities. The Specialist Championship shot should at the very least open a few doors for me to escape this vicious cycle. Whether it be Mallory Wilde, April Song, Chelsea Crowe or Consuela Rose Ava, whoever walks out of that Fatal 4-Way match with the championship is going to have to face a Sydney St. Clair that has been deprived of opportunity to showcase what she can really do in this ring without a narcissistic bimbo chained to her wrist. There have been many opportunities at championships that were dangled in front of me, but never any opportunities to grow as a competitor. Bloodletter is an opportunity at both of those things, and I intend to make the most of it, all the while venting the ever-growing frustrations that come with having to put up with Megan Raine on a weekly basis. I have been yearning for a chance to grow, to find a new side to myself to separate me from the herd. Not just some starry-eyed rookie with hopes and dreams, but something different, something more. Of course, I also want to be nothing like you. But I haven’t been able to get use to anything else other than your constant gloating and self-praising since I stepped foot in the door. And it grows tiresome. Really quickly. I can’t help but feel in some way betrayed by the people you also claimed to be helping me. Why couldn’t Tarah convince Flannery to release us from these handcuffs, or prevent the whole ordeal in the first place? Better yet, why did she allow me to be constantly in the ring with you the countless times that we have? Has this all been a lesson in the hardships that I must face as a competitor in this company? If so, I have withstood hardships that would have sent anyone else out the door in a heartbeat. I guess the violent protest that broke out last week was just that; a changing of who I am. For a brief moment, I saw myself as the girl I came in as in a third-person perspective, as I watched her fighting away referees and security in an attempt to break free from a fate worse than death; being chained to you. Maybe I have found myself. Maybe I have lost myself even more. Whatever the case may be, all of that frustration will all be worth it in the end. When I am rid of you, and as a cherry on top, ensure that you don’t find yourself in the number one contender's position at my expense, instead becoming the next in line at yours. It is time for a serious change, one for the better and Bloodletter is where that change will come into effect. Bare witness to a Sydney St. Clair that is no longer tied down to mediocrity by a human ball and chain. A Sydney St. Clair with nothing to lose. There needs to be a final nail in the coffin that is this rivalry we have been in ever since Manifest Destiny. This animosity between us needs to be dead and buried. And I will be the one holding the shovel when it is all said and done."

"There is only so much you can do in a peaceful way. And trust me, I tried to handle this situation peacefully. For the past few weeks, I have been trying to make the best of a bad situation. As little as three months ago, I was a starry-eyed dreamer making her in-ring debut at Manifest Destiny. And every week since I was being told by opponents and several others backstage that I was showing promise -- that Sydney St. Clair could be the next rising star of Empire. The sad thing is that I was starting to believe it, and why wouldn’t I? A qualifying match lined up early on for me to join the Extreme Elimination Chamber match for the EAW Women's Championship only a few weeks into my career. Shame on me, I guess. To believe that early upwards momentum would stay a steady course was my mistake. A mere three weeks later, and I was stopped dead in my tracks as a pair of shackles held me down while opportunities at the Specialist Championship was dangled in front of my eyes and out of arm's reach. Imagine if you will how it feels to have your very dreams held just outside of your reach -- no matter how hard you fight for it your fingers can’t even brush against it. Then imagine it happening on a weekly basis. Someone with less determination would probably accept the fact that it is not theirs to take. But yet, I am still here. Not going to lie though, it was crushing my spirit and crushing it fast. Having to wrestle matches less than at my best, having management force you into a situation where you have to wrestle with a handicap this great, it really does make you think you should pack your bags and call it a day. Hell, I fell silent for two weeks as a form of peaceful protest to get the point across that I wasn’t buying what the people who put the cuffs on me were selling. But when that doesn’t work, when you can’t find a peaceful way to reason out of the cuffs, you have to take matters into your own hands. And in that rare moment, we had something in common. A common feeling of being held down. A common enemy who was forcing their mentality onto us. A common plan to get rid of the shackles that were holding us back from performing at our best. And that is what you saw last week. No longer were Sydney St. Clair and Megan Raine going to be forced to team together, forced to be allies, friends even. I guess in a way, what Flannery McCoy was trying to achieve with this social experiment worked. Megan and I were forced to cooperate and fight against the chains that bound us together, as well as anyone who was trying to put them back on us. It is amazing what we would do in a situation of utter desperation. Do I regret what happened last week? Not even remotely.

The idea behind this social experiment was dare I say idiotic from the start. There was no way that Megan Raine and myself would ever be friends, forced or otherwise. Everyone but Flannery herself knew that was the case. No matter how much the situation was going to be pushed onto us, we were never going to call the other a friend. Manifest Destiny was the night where that was all set in stone, where she admitted to having been using my debut match to put her own name on the radar and nothing more. I don’t befriend manipulators. I don’t befriend gold diggers who try to get the chairman wrapped around her finger. That is who Megan Raine truly is. And trust me when I say that I know Megan Raine like the back of my hand. When you spend every single week in the ring and on the microphone with someone, you tend to learn a lot. In my case, all I know is what Megan Raine is at her core. Every match I have been in, Megan Raine was there. On my team, as my opponent, on the opposing team and in recent weeks handcuffed to my wrist like a deadweight. It has been the one constant in my career thus far, and a subject I am essentially an expert in by now. And what I know for certain is that her words have very little punch behind them. A talker first, a succubus second, and a fighter third. And I think deep down she knows it to be true. But with an ego so paper thin, she can’t afford to have the cracks show. She suggests all the time that there is nothing special about Sydney St. Clair, that I have done nothing to impress or show that I belong in the land of elites, I have showcased nothing. Perhaps that is true. But what has Megan Raine shown since coming back to EAW? Besides being an unlikable cunt? Dare I say far less. Who scored that pinfall at Manifest Destiny? I did. When we faced each other after revealing her true intentions, who was the one that got her hand raised? That would be me. Not once have you scored a fall over me, Megan, and I think deep down that keeps you up some nights. Knowing that as much as you claim the be better than me, you have nothing to prove it. The one sole time I have been pinned in my EAW career, it was at the hands of Chelsea Crowe. You drilled your knee into the back of my head sure, but the fact that you didn’t score the pinfall on me yourself must have been a bitter pill to swallow. Even when we were handcuffed together, while you were running your mouth, we lost that Triple Threat to April Song when she was choking you out with a sleeper hold. I guess there have been two constants all along -- Megan Raine is tied to the hip of Sydney St. Clair, and every time she talks a big game she falls flat on her face.

Bloodletter will not be an exception.

On December 9th, I finally get the one thing I want more than anything else in the world. No, I am not talking about the Specialist Championship opportunity. What I want goes much deeper than a shot at a silver plate on a leather strap. For far too long I have had to put up with your belittlement as you stick your nose up at me and every week the temptation has been growing to give you a D.I.Y. nosejob myself. From the very day I stepped in here, you have doubted my every ability despite what our history has shown. As far as I am concerned, the Specialist Championship opportunity is but a footnote to this match. What I want is to finally sever all the ties I have with you. I want to move on from having your constant headache, your constant self-entitlement. I want to once and for all beat the smug cunt who has been keeping me down for months on end! I am far more interested in letting out the three months of pent-up aggression that has been slow cooking deep within. More importantly, I want to prove to not only everyone but to you especially that I am not some vulnerable, fragile girl who can't hold her own. Despite my connections, the people I have befriended, I have never once needed the help of another to do what I do in the ring. Not from my friends, not from Tarah Nova, or from anyone else did I need a helping hand to get to this point -- I have gotten here because I fought hard to get here. From Day 1 it has been Sydney versus The World, and there is no turning back now. Megan Raine, I don't care what you call yourself. I don't care if you consider yourself a perfect storm, you are cloudy days that will come to pass. I will succeed to spite the claims that you have made against me. I will not be the stepping stone to the likes of you. At Bloodletter, my career can officially begin a new at your expense. I will defeat you Megan Raine..."

Cameraman: Daisy, any comments on your upcoming match at Bloodletter?

Daisy: I just got done! Can’t you leave me the fuck alone?

Cameraman: Daisy, just a quick…

Daisy: Didn’t I tell you to fuck off? God!

The camera continues to follow her into a dressing room.

Daisy: Alright, you know what? Fine. If you really want something that bad I’ll give you something. Because I’m just that goddamn nice. And, y’know, it’s Christmastime. I guess I need to be all charitable and crap. I mean, I’m a giving person. I gave myself, and that bitch Andy, a no DQ match. I gave all of YOU PEOPLE a no DQ match. That’s right, I single-handedly made Bloodletter worth watching. I saved you all from another boring, cookie-cutter free-per-view. You don’t need to be some kind of psychic to guess what’s gonna happen that night. Aria Jaxon wins. Again. Consuela wins. Again. Haruna and Azumi win because Savannah Sunshine is too drunk off her ass to help her new buddy Revy. Megan becomes #1 contender all because of how well she can suck the big boss’ dick. Not to mention the fact that Tarah Nova’s little chosen one can’t be bothered to get out a word or two. And while we’re on the subject, lil’ miss Nova and Sher’s match might have some juicy stakes, but for all their talk of blood their match ain’t gonna have any! Their stakes are too well-done. I’m the one with the rare stakes around here. Damn, just made myself hungry. There had better be a Denny’s around here or so help me god…

People wonder why I’ve been railing so hard against this entire company. Why I’ve been saying this whole time that someone like me has got no chance of ever getting to the top within their little “system”. Well open your eyes and take a good look around! There’s no one rooting for me to win. They all want their precious little Andrea to win. They want that generic Barbie doll to take down the mean ‘ol feminist lady. When you think about it, it makes a lotta sense. Just look at her. She’s got that same boring look that every other small town girl with a dream has. And she’s just as replaceable too. And topping it all off, she’s got that nice, sanitized little comeback story. “Awww, look at her! She was such a loser that she got sent back down to developmental! But now she’s back! Let’s all live vicariously through her! She’s got no personality, so it’ll be even easier to make her our own personal Mary Sue!” And then they go on to heaping tons of praises onto her when she wins two matches against Yasmin Hyland of all people. They call her the next big thing. Meanwhile, I destroyed Yasmin Hyland so much that she hasn’t been heard from since. The response? Crickets. Fuck. No one ever talks about my comeback story. Except me of course. I’ve gone from bottom of the heap to giving one of the best damn performances of my career. Don’t try and call bullshit on me. You heard Gia say it. And to think I’m a ten year veteran of this business. Nobody expected me to finish in third place. Ok, before you jump on this Andy, I know you barely edged me out last week. YOU STILL LOST. But hey, don’t worry. I’m sure you’ll still get tons of undeserved praise for it. After all, you’ve never called yourself a feminist. You never have had to deal with the higher-ups tearing you down and making a mockery out of you just because you dare to show your support for fucking gender equality! Yeah, something as simple as that turns you into the butt of the joke. But you? No, you cooked up a nice, safe image for yourself. Something real commercial. Hell, I wouldn’t be surprised if you had some merch in the works. Maybe something with cutesy little hearts and shit. Something that says “I’m ready to ride this cash cow all the way to the top.” I’m proud to say that I ain’t got any merch. No way am I letting this company make any sort of profit off of my awesome creativity. And there is definitely no way I’m letting those idiots in the crowd have any piece of me. EAW made the jokes, but they all laughed at them. You see Andy, unlike you I was never considered the “safe choice.” This whole brand was never meant to be built around someone like me. I’m one of the ones who won’t just do what I’m told just because some jackass in a three-piece suit with a receding hairline tells me it’s in the company’s best interests. What about my best interests, huh? I guess I gotta just throw them aside in favor of whatever the bigwigs want. Over. And over. And OVER AGAIN. Everything changed when I no longer decided to give a fuck. That’s what makes us different, Andy. I will always choose the path that never makes me compromise who I am. The one that forces me to do plastic surgery on my soul just to make myself more palatable for the average audience. You might be blissfully content to take the easy way to fame but honey that just ain’t me. And don’t give me that “I don’t have it easy, I work so hard” line. ‘Cause you sure got it easier than me. Your work actually gets recognized. Roses are always gonna get picked over thorns.

But hey, you know what, Andy? I actually wanted to get you another gift. Except the whole thing kinda fell through. Do I want to tell you what it was? Yeah, screw it, might as well at this point. I picked out a nice little headstone for you. I figured you were gonna need it after what I’m going to do to you on the 9th. It was this polished stone thing, nice and shiny. But guess what? Turns out you can’t get a pretty headstone on a $10 budget. Oh well, it was worth a shot. I’ll tell you what I will give you though. I’ll give a violent, painful, gruesome death. Wasn’t lyin’ when I said you were gonna need a tombstone. How pretty is pretty little Andrea gonna be after she gets skinned? I’ve got so many ways to skin that cat. ‘Cause I can see weapons everywhere. I don’t limit myself to just what’s under the ring. No way, not when I’ve got so much stuff at my disposal. I might even bring a few things of my own if I feel like it. But you don’t need to know anything else about that. Just know this: after I’m finished with you, they’re gonna have to call this thing BloodBATH. 'Cause I will keep getting up and getting up and getting up until Andrea Valentine is nothing more than a pulp!

Alright, little dolly. I’ve pulled your string. You can go ahead and talk now. Go ahead, say some last words.

(Azumi sits in front of a camera, wearing her t-shirt with a serious look on her face.)

I was screwed! We all know this was going to happen, Haruna and I have said we have been screwed by other people on Empire countless times and yet it’s our methods called out by those that say that they are in the right. A drunken piece of trash cost me a title shot but yet people out there will say that we deserved to lose that opportunity. Why? Because we have taken other tactics to find success, this is professional wrestling. Regardless what path to success you take, every road is the right one. Look at whoever this company calls legends and Hall of Famers. Every one of them has made a deal with the devil of sorts or showcased their ego. And all I can hear people saying that “Karma is a bitch” or that Savannah was under a drunken influence or whatever. You people don’t say that Savannah Sidekick over there cost me a shot at the specialist title.

No, it’s because I’m Azumi Goto, I’ve become a hated woman that’s the reason you people say I deserved to be screwed out of my title opportunity but fine, let’s say that I do deserve to not have the opportunity and I’ll focus on my match. I’ll focus on getting revenge. If this was Savannah Sidekick’s way of getting back in that drunken state after what has seemed like ages since Haruna and I gave her that minor concussion or whatever. If you want to be in the way again, Savannah then remember that moment before you make your entrance. If you step inside that ring, you will get two hatred filled women who you, someone who defends the concept being a hero for the people screwed over. My way of life as a wrestler isn’t in jeopardy here, Savannah. It’s yours… you consider yourself to be someone the little girls who want to chase dreams look towards then realize that what you showed was something that might turn people away from that.

I don’t care about the fans that either love or hate me. I’m just here to fulfill lifelong ambitions, goals, dreams, and whatever else is needed to apparently be pro-wrestler. See people, if I had the time to care about other people in this world, I would end up being the same people you believe are the right ones. The ones who fight against the bad, I would have ended up like a generic good guy but where I stand apart is that I put myself over others and continue to do that. There’s no need for me to have this kind of compassion or appreciation for the fans, I could care less about ticket sales… I mean if the next Empire had zero people in attendance then I would still wrestle regardless of who I’m facing.

Because I will continue to be a professional wrestler, that’s what I’m meant to do with my life. I will go through anybody who says otherwise, see this path that I have taken is one of the many ways to get to the top. I haven’t taken the cheap way out all of the time like you people think I have. It’s not wrong for me to use tactics that go against everything I stand for as a wrestler but desperate times call for desperate measures, isn’t that the saying in America. If victory is achieved then the path taken means absolutely nothing. That’s the Azumi Goto way. You’ve driven someone to the point of no return by making her take this dark route. This is what happens when someone who has nothing to lose takes things to the point where everything means it will give her the chance to gain something.

If people think I’m a villain or my intentions are wrong then continue to say that, if you consider me as an Unsung Ace then go for it. Continue being a roadblock for me because, in the end, it won’t stop the fighter named Azumi Goto. I’ll showcase that at Bloodletter by beating Savannah Sidekick and Revy, the next set of Roadblock.

“Tranquilo”

(The camera opens to Stephanie “Cloud” Matsuda sitting in a chair in the dark after hours, in the middle of her War Room Dojo establishment. She’s holding a glass of whiskey bourbon in one hand. Several figures emerge from the shadows behind her - Carlos Rosso, Mao Ichimichi, and the Wild Boys. They walk to her side, awaiting a response. Without looking, Cloud nods. Carlos puts down a bottle of whiskey beside her, and he leads the others off camera to the exit of the dojo.)

To say my emotions are complex right now would be an understatement. On the one hand, you have a warrior who is getting what she wants and is primed to take it all. On the other lies a woman who’s seeing her whole world change before her very eyes. I had a different mindset a year ago, one that I could easily understand - I was scorned and wanted everyone to feel my pain. I blamed everyone from Tarah to the EAW Board of Directors. I indirectly hurt the people that I love, blinded by vengeance. All my life I was told I was special, and from the moment I walked into EAW, I discovered women who were more special than me. To be honest, I didn’t know what made me special until recently. I always thought it had to do with any innate gifts I may possess - and maybe to a point it does. But, in my battles leading up to Bloodletter, I discovered something: I’m just as relentless as you are. I’d like to think I was always competitive, but this is another kind of hunger. This hunger has ignited something in me I thought died when I was pinned that fateful night in China. I gambled everything to win back Lauryn, and it blew up in my face. Here I thought to fight for something more would guarantee me victory, but alas I was wrong. I’m not a hero Aria, and quite frankly, neither are you. But yet, we are perceived as such; Sometimes we’re called royalty, and in some rare cases, gods. The reality is we’re competitors who go out there every night all to show the world what we’re made of. In a way, it’s selfish - but the kind of selfishness that feeds energy to everyone around us. It’s quite infectious when you think about it. But alas, whenever I did things for me, I always won. The Specialist Championship? In this business, we have a goal that we set our minds to, and somehow we come out on the other side successful...most of the time. That’s why you’re the best in the world, Aria Jaxon. Your only goal is to go out there every night and win. Such a simple formula, but yet everyone makes it out to be more complicated than it is. Paddy: A’reet Youns! Welcome to the World Beer and Ale Association Drinking Championships, Boozerweight Division. My name is Paddy and I am happy to be here calling the action for you alongside our beautiful singer-cum-agony aunt-cum-Colour Commentator, Alanis Morissette.

Among the frontrunners is the 86 year old Barbara McFadden over there wearing the green and white hoops of Glasgow Celtic. With 80 years of experience since she first began in the junior leagues, she is of course the most experienced competitor here today.

At this point the sheer volume of liquid consumed becomes as much of a challenge, if not more than the actual effects of alcohol intoxication. The pace has slowed right down. Even if I’m recovering from one hell of a match against Chelsea Crowe, my eyes must be on the prize: The EAW Women’s World Championship. If anyone’s been paying any attention, I didn’t want this match with Aria in the condition that she’s in. She’s so determined to defend her title at Empire’s first FPV, that she’s willing to go out there with a concussion! (sighs) She’s even trying to poke at the bear, to activate the War Queen that lies beneath. Not only that, but there are others who feel I don’t deserve this title shot. In fact, Aria herself threw it in my face that this was a handout.

(Cloud leans back, staring at the screen in disbelief)

I tried EAW Universe. I worked so hard to redeem myself for my past transgressions. I know I’m supposed to focus on Sheridan - I’ll get to her in a minute - but I just need to put this out there: I wanted nothing more than to support Aria and Empire. I wanted to see this roster grow into a league of women, strong, powerful, and independent. I would still like to be apart of that. Even with my intentions known I’m always criticized, again accused of being the Sword of Sanatorium, the girl ‘who just couldn’t get it done.' I made Chelsea Crowe tap in the middle of that ring, and you have your resident pop idol yapping about how it’s so easy to beat me. Haru? (glares) Is it effortless to beat me? Try asking that to Savannah, Kimmie, and Astraea. Ask that to Chelsea. Try asking Cailin Dillon - hell; I’ll give you the number of her physical therapist!

(Cloud leans towards the screen, practically seething with anger) .

Or, try asking Sheridan Müller. Upon her return, she’s done everything but confront me. It’s only after getting served by Chelsea and sucker punching out esteemed GM does she decide to feast her eyes on me. Well, here I am Goldilocks. You go on and on about your fantastic voyage, but where’s the substance? Where’s this superior lifestyle that you was supposed to enrich us with? Maybe things were more comfortable for you then because you could hide behind their greatness. But guess what? They’re longer with us. I’m still here though - fighting every week, giving it my all. They left us and quite frankly I’m glad. Do I want to fight women who want to be here - which begs the question: why are you here? Why are you back, Goldilocks? If it’s to save us, to ignite a revolution, well you’re a season too late. It already came and went sweets. The women who you see on this roster is all that remains of us. We are the survivors of a generation that was supposed to be prosperous; now we are rebuilding what was once lost. Without an Empress, there is much debate about who will be in that position. I was content with Aria as our Queen - but her actions as of late have me feeling otherwise. Now here comes Sheridan, just in the nick of time (rolls eyes). You begin with promises of dismantling what has been established thus far. This level of pettiness probably comes from the fact that you’re nowhere near what you used to be. That’s okay - I can carry this responsibility for the both of us.

(Cloud smirks and puts her feet on the table)

You had a lot to say sweets, so now it’s my turn to express myself. Posting a bunch of videos doesn’t guarantee you victory. You can deliver a riveting speech about how special you are, throw shade my way, live in the past - none of that matters. When that bell rings, and we bump heads, you should only concern yourself with how long you think you will last in the ring against me. The failed experiment known as German Efficiency was a delusion for you; it was a security blanket that made you a little too comfortable with your skin. I’m here to take you out of that comfort zone, to take you to a place you never been. I’m not the same woman you fought back in September. I’ve learned more about myself; I’ve accepted my reality, that nobody will leave me alone until they see the return of the War Queen in all her glory. This week I will demonstrate to Aria what will happen when she gets into the ring with me. You’re nothing more than a mere test dummy.

With an unbroken will, victory in mind and a potential title shot on the line, I step into this week’s Empire with one simple motive. This victory, the win in that Battle Royal that will truly show that Azumi Goto is the best of the best when I beat 9 other women and become the Number 1 contender. Throw whoever you want in that ring, whether you be handcuffed together or you’re some sort of rookie who, I just don’t care about the Empire roster, I don’t care about the women who were in this company’s past and “lead the way” for Empire to become a thing. I just care about myself, I care about the championship gold that I have shot for at Bloodletter. Just for a moment think what the Specialist Title should mean. It’s for those who are the workhorses, the ones who will wrestle every single night regardless. Doesn’t that sound like someone right here… Oh right, that person is me, the person right in front of the camera, the one and only, Azumi Goto. Think, someone who fought through everything on Empire, who’s been the best in-ring performer on Empire is the person who fits the concept of Specialist Champ like a glove. I’m going to walk and as usual showcase why I’m so much better at being a pro-wrestler.

So who will be the first to talk about? How about Chelsea Crowe? Someone who’s done so well since arriving in EAW, having major matches against “top draws” and etc. but when you really think that you have a chance at beating someone who is Unbreakable then your chances are going to crumble. You not only have to deal with me but think of all the other women in this match, who aren’t as good as me but will probably see you as a target. I don’t know about you, but I gladly welcome a challenge of anyone in this battle royal because it just gives me more chances to prove how much better I am. How everything I have said is the truth about me, that I am the Unbreakable, how I’m the fighting machine and how I am the best wrestler in this hell hole called Empire. See you will stand in the ring against The Unbreakable. So when it comes down to it you just can join the rest of Empire and fail to stop me from claiming my glory.

Same goes for the likes of Revy, Andrea Valentine or whoever decides to speak up will need to learn that nothing will stop me till I get what is rightfully mine and that is all the spotlights of Empire shine down on me. The Fighter 510 isn’t stopping until I go on to eventual beat Consuela Rose Ava for that specialist title she’s got around her waist! You’re going to have to fucking bring me to a near-death experience and still you all will fail because you can’t stop someone who’s got NOTHING and really fucking mean nothing to lose in these kinds of situations.

There’s no Control In The Vault, there’s no bit of momentum or anything like that on the line, It’s just going to be a Fighter waking into that battle royal as a fighter and leaving out as the winner! It’s going to be the one chance before Bloodletter and I won’t let anything come in my way.

I truly believe in the hype that I am the best wrestler, the best in-ring performer, the simply the best on Empire. Yeah, this is self-hype but I believe it to be true and I will continue to believe it’s true until the end of time, I don’t need to know what anyone of you people care or think about me because everything involving someone from Empire is irrelevant. Because I have truly lost any sense of care for this brand, I mean this. I longer no care about the present, the past or whoever thinks they are the future of this brand. The only thing that matters is Azumi Goto, the only thing in my eyes that I need to care about is myself and my future, my goals, my spotlight, my success.

I’ll be damned if I let anyone take those things away from me especially after almost two years of scratching and clawing for the spotlight, I will not let anyone who thinks they’re the next big thing, I will not let two people who are handcuffed, I will not let ANYBODY ON THIS BRAND REGARDLESS OF WHO THEY ARE, TAKE MY MOMENT AWAY FROM ME!

What you see here ladies is someone with nothing to lose. A fighter who is just here for her winnings, and someone will personally put down any one of you if it means to get her title shot. You can’t break The Unbreakable.

It’s been tried but you just can’t put a fighter like Azumi Goto down. Try as hard as you want but eventually have to succumb to failure and my victory.

Someone who is already work so hard but they never given any chance because of an unknown reason. What is that unknown reason? I don't know, I would never know. It appears my decision to going under to the surface of Empire to find a great match and it was worth it. I found a fighter like Daisy Thrash and maybe I can find another one just like her and this is the perfect moment for me to find one of them, find the one who really put up a great fight with her heart.

Hey, amongst everybody else in this match, I am the only one who was once holding the same title that we are going to fight for in case one of us win this match. I also fight for more title matches than them so I am like the expert on this thing, right? Well, I don't want to call myself like that. After all, I am someone who keep willing to learn something even what I get here is more than enough. I don't want to be the champion but feel like a company's lap dog. I want to be myself, even I have to retry everything that I get, as long as I fight as someone that I want, I will do that anyway. Hey, I might be thinking that I am just the same like all of you. I am not a superior being, I don't feel like I am the most experienced from all of you. But if you think you can make fun of me and all of the failures I get on the past, what makes you think you can overcome it all, huh? This is the epitome of Empire's comedy act. Take a look at this so-called Miss Candyland Queen, Savannah Sunshine. The one who is supposed to be a top face of Empire and stealing my spot to be in that place. I am just doing whatever I want to, I don't know how low your sense of humour that makes you think what I do is so funny but well, look at Savannah right now. First, she vomited mid match and everyone was laughing at her. I don't want to laugh at her actually but I never see some professional performer puking in the middle of their show. That was the most terrible thing I've ever see during my time in this entertainment industry. And the week after that, we have an intermission skit of her going to the night club or whatever and get drunk. I mean, is that really necessary? Well, I don't care about that skit and don't understand why that skit is there to begin with. But hey, if the reason of that skit is to showcase Savannah's stupidity and to show the world that she is wasting the top spot of Empire, I am happily watching it for the lol. Deep in my heart, I am saying "Enjoy your future top face of Empire, everyone! That place should be filled by me and Azumi but.... nope. We'd rather do it our own way! After all, Miss Savannah Sunshine, everyone! Your beloved top prospect of the company! Enjoy Empire's #1 Comedy skit for your entertainment sake". Hey, Savannah..... Miss Yasmin Hyland! The once who said that they will quit after a few losses. Well, you are almost there, Miss Hyland. You start to lose hope and such then thinking of quitting Empire. I am so lucky to meet you in this match. Because in front of them, in front of the rest of eight girls inside that ring that this should be Haruna who will quit after a few losses and then give up. But I am not that Haruna, I am far like this girl. This girl will be an example that they are not going to mess around with me. I am not a weak lady like Yasmin Hyland!

And then we have my recent opponent, Daisy Thrash. I already said to you that it was a good match between us. You really got me and boy, you got me good. Even in the end I am the winner, but still, you give me a great battle. I believe that you are going somewhere there. I like what you are doing right now and just keep doing what you do. Never change at all and just be you. I am not expecting that we meet again this quick but now it's all change. The reward for this match is in front of your eyes. And I really know, all those rewards, all those golds will change most of people as they will do everything to win that. Our match last week is just a regular match with no reward at all and I can see you fight me like a fighter that you said you are. But this match is a different thing. With a reward in front of your eyes, can you still fight me like a true wrestler you showed me last week? I can't wait to know your response about it.

After all of this, that comes to Azumi again. We are doing this together but in the end, someday we have to decide who is better amongst us. We are doing our own way together, not following the stream where all of them are going to but in the end, after we get to the top with our own way, only one of us can be the stronger. I feel so happy when after this is all over, I have to fight you and decide who is the best between us and I really can't wait for that moment to happen. I want you to do everything you can do to beat me and still, I don't want to lose you. Let's show the world that we are not joking around with our hopes and dreams and we're gonna live for it!

Without a doubt, I'd say that Season 11 has been my best season thus far. I know I've only been here since late Season 10, but it's still pretty astonishing to see how far I've come.

--My win/loss record thus far this season has been great, I haven't lost too much to the point where my credibility has gone downhill, and I've beaten enough notable names to keep me satisfied.

--At TI, had a standout moment where I dug Team Keelan out of a hole and got two back-to-back pinfalls to win the match, and earn a special opportunity.

--Had a great feud with APOCALYPSE/DDD, and faced him in arguably my best match at Ground Zero in a brutal Grave Consequences match.

--Shifting from the upper mid-card to the World title scene, and facing people like Jamie, Keelan, and [REDACTED]. Had a good run in the Chamber at Road to Redemption, eliminating Amadeus and having an overall decent performance.

--Recently, defeating Keelan at Shock Value to become the #1 Contender to the World Heavyweight Championship.

I'd say so far it's been going well, but I still don't have a championship. Blame Oasis for that. :dave:

Once you’ve been incapacitated for so long, you almost end up believing that you’ll never reach the heights you were at some months ago. But maybe that’s a good thing. We all have the power of free will, and with that, comes the control of your actions; how you treat yourself versus how you treat the ones before you.

As the week leading up to Shock Value comes to an end, I’ve sat back, and I’ve reflected on all that’s led me to this moment, this second chance at life. It’s at this point where I have accepted two truths: I either walk out of Shock Value with a new sense of direction and purpose, or I lose and will be forced back down into the depths. However after considering what my opponents had to say this week, I believe in the former. Before me are seven men, all of which who may just want this opportunity as much as I do. But really, what stands before me are seven deadly sins, all of which I must overcome in order to redefine this era and propel it forwards."

You wish to take me down and walk away from Shock Value with my opportunity, yet in order to do that, you have to be able to stand on your own two feet. You must accept that seven other men will go down in order for the future to be saved. And you must be able to live with that truth. But you, Ryan Wilson? Every time you find yourself not being able to overcome someone worth more than you, you retreat. So do me a favor."

Harvey slams a hand down on the projector, causing the footage to blur.

Harvey takes a moment to let the projector do the talking. We see images of Azrael, Nathan Fiora, and Axl Willow projected.

No change in persona, no need to overcompensate with scoring roles in Hollywood films that nobody cares about.

You've got a midget taking on what appears to be my role, and despite all the information I have out there, you still can't seem to figure me out. I never claimed to go to Harvard, in fact I gladly traded higher education over in order to begin my wrestling career. But hey, whatever makes you sleep at night, lad. You all begged for Ultraviolence to come back this Sunday. I implore you all to to bring your fucking hearts filled with the belief that you’ll overcome its power. You’ve all taken my argument and spun it around to make me look like a idiot. All you have proven is that self-hype and determination is a disease; a temporary fix to make yourselves feel superior to the Saint of Violence. Soon enough, once the gauntlet match has taken it’s toll, you’ll all realize that your heart will not be enough to overcome the weight of my darkness."

Harvey lets out a low laugh.

At Shock Value, I take the broken hearts, shattered dreams, and empty souls of the seven men who stand before me, and I shall carry the weight as I continue to mold a new era.

Time waits for no man. The future is a powerful entity with the ability to be taken and changed. And after Shock Value, it will be mine."

The projector turns off, as Harvey walks away from the scene. We catch a glimpse of him before the lights flicker off, a sinister smile on his face. Cut to static. Fade to black.

I had a hard time deciding this one too. I was deciding whether to go with momentum and storyline, but it seems like it could go either way. Harvey listened, though. He made sure to wave Xander off with a cheeky grin and a roll of the eyes, but it was all done in good faith.

The sound of leather soles hitting against concrete echoes throughout the barren wasteland known as the Underground—it’s almost rhythmic. The movement comes to an end, and we find Harvey Yorke sitting on a rusted chair, amongst the rubble and empty beer cans. In one hand, is a stack of cards, in the other, a can of Coors Light. He looks up, greeting his selected audience with a smug expression.

HARVEY YORKE ››› 'ultraviolence'... "I love this feeling. Just me, sitting before a camera, booze in hand. It’s the calm before the storm. A cool down period before I strike again. Last Sunday, I promised the world a statement, one that still reigns true. The new era slowly dawns upon us, and for the sake of the masses, I hope you’re all ready. I do not have the time to wait to dethrone Finnegan Wakefield—or Jon McAdams, whoever leaves Shock Value with my New Breed Championship. A bold statement, I know. For a moment, Harvey stares off into the emptiness that surrounds him.

I may not be the most intimidating competitor overall in this match, but compared to you? I've got your number. A win against you not only propelled my momentum, but also granted me insight on how our future encounter at Shock Value will end. That loss of yours, it's still fresh in your memory.

Speaking of memory, I can’t help but to recall the last time I was put into a position similar to the one I’m in today. I’m talking about the grueling tournament I had to overcome for a shot at the Interwire Championship. Particularly, the first match, yours truly versus Shaker Jones. Now, I promised myself I’d let this man become obsolete on his own accord, but alas! We cross paths yet again. It gets frustrating, Shaker. It really does. To know I’ve put you down already and then demonstrate that once more to a bigger audience...it’s redundant, wouldn’t you agree? I mean, what can you do that you haven’t already done before? You’ll come out, apologize...say “hello, hello, hello!” or something completely mental, but even then, your fans won’t be able to say they’re on your side.

You’re a victim of your own facade. You’ve tried for so long to outrun all your failures, but they just keep catching up to you. And now Shaker, there’s nowhere left to run. You know, when they came up with the idea of Voltage being the ‘Land of Opportunity,’ I didn’t expect for the higher ups to take it so literally. Seriously, what have you’ve done to end up in this match, Ryan? I understand that hiding behind a mask and sending vague threats on social media makes you look superior...at least that’s how it plays out in your head. And listen, I get it. Desperation can drive a man insane, and in your case, not even the highest mental institution will be able to help you. It’s beyond me, Ryan, how contradictory nearly all of your statements have been since arriving to EAW. One moment, you’re bragging about all the “right” you’ve been doing. Spewing all this garbage about how all you’ve done is face champions since debuting here at Voltage. But once those very same champions find a weakness in you, there you are screaming, “I know I have a lot to prove! I know I’m not worthy!”"

Harvey takes a swig before continuing.

Next, we have Ryan Wilson’s little fuckbuddy, Azrael. See, I don’t even need to hear it come out of your mouth. Not when Ryan does all the talking, anyways. I wish I could say I pity you, because even despite your best efforts, you can barely light a candle to Shaker Jones’ or Ryan Wilson’s flame—that right there is nothing to be proud of. At least I can see why Cody Marshall was put into this match: he’s a former champion and knows what it takes to take the gold for himself. It’s a shame the bloke’s mind is lost somewhere in the blinding lights of Hollywood, but I digress. You, Azrael, are nothing but a shadow. That’s coming from the wanker who claims to live in the darkness. It’s my understanding that both you and Ryan Wilson were called up at the same time, but in all honesty, it was wise of Ashten Cross to throw you two to the wolves. Ashten saw that the two of you wouldn’t accomplish much in NEO, so being the generous man that he is, he sent you guys to my brand. And at Shock Value, I’ll solidify the fact that Voltage is no land of opportunity, not as long as I’m around.

I’m sure you would like to believe all of these losses will one day turn around, and that Shock Value will be your moment. It doesn’t work like that. Not when the most significant thing you’ve done is live in Ryan Wilson’s shadow. It’s madness, Azrael, that even your friend’s EAW Feed presence overshadows your ringwork."

Harvey rolls his eyes, a long exhale escaping his lungs. He shakes his head before continuing.

HARVEY YORKE ››› 'ultraviolence'... "I’ll make this short and simple, stay the fuck away from Voltage. I don’t enjoy visitors, especially the kind who will never amount to anything.

Seriously, you don’t want to end up like El Irónico. Don’t get me wrong, you’ve been here for just about a year and you’ve created a massive following out of being the underdog. But getting so close can only get you so far, I’m sure that’s something we can agree on. When it comes to facing multiple people or being placed in tournaments, you can’t get the job done. I remember you and I were in the tournament to crown the Interwire Champion back in May...oh wait. You didn’t even survive the first round against Chris Elite. The same man I defeated in order to advance to the finals. Granted, Elite is off to doing bigger and better things, but I guess that’s on me for fleeting the scene whilst I was gaining recognition. For that reason, Irónico, I can’t say I’m handing over this win to you, either. You see, I’ve come close for far too long, I grew frustrated, and now I must pay the price. In a way, this match is my own personal purgatory, not because my back’s against the wall, but because I know I deserve something better. Something more than this.

Let’s take a look at the present, though, shall we? It wasn’t long ago that We Are the Bollocks lost in the Tag Team Grand Prix final. Hell, in this season alone, the only win that meant anything was when you defeated Cody Marshall. What does that say about you, Irónico? To me, it says that no matter how hard you try, you’ll always be one step behind. And on top of that, you’re highly dependent on Finnegan Wakefield’s skills. I’m not even keen on this bloke, but I’m sure that as a fighting champion, he deserves a proper challenge. That’s me, Irónico, not you. Face it, without Wakefield, you’re a walking failure. You may pride yourself on the fans who still cheer you every single night, but believe me, they only cheer you on because they enjoy seeing you making a living joke out of yourself.

You know, I wish the next guy was any better, but at this point I’ve lost all hope. Axl Willow, ‘Trapsoul’ himself."

Harvey looks at his notes with a puzzled expression, scoffing at the sight of Axl’s nickname.

I know you never quite cared about NEO and their demands, but if you’re thinking of bringing that mentality with you to Voltage, I can’t say you’ll last long.“I’m only here for the paychecks!” you cry, “There’s nothing for me in this brand.” And sure, I could go out and say I see a bit of myself in you, but that’d mean degrading my intelligence. Pointing fingers is a dangerous game, Axl. You’re sacrificing the bare minimum, and yet you’re still demanding for money, gold, and fame. What exactly separates you from the rest of those talentless hacks down at NEO? Absolutely nothing. This carefree attitude of yours, I’ve seen it all before. Newsflash: it won’t get you anywhere. You’ll get too caught up on whether or not Savannah will answer your calls to even give your all in this gauntlet match.

Hell, from what I’ve studied, you seem to be more interested in making an edgy statement over winning. You should know better than going into battle claiming that you’re the best without even taking a good look in the mirror. Axl Willow, you’re a rags to riches story gone wrong. You thought you grew up with nothing back at Bunker Hill, but soon enough, you'll be nothing.

And speaking of nothing, I figured it’s time I address the man of the hour. Nathan Fiora. I'm sure you'd like to believe we're fighting the same side, Fiora, but we're not. You wouldn't know a damn thing about revenge, about reality. What has this company, hell, what has this business taken away from you? All you've done is point fingers towards the powers that be, because you can't afford to get your hands dirty. Why is that? Would it have something to do with the fact that you've lied and hid away in the shadows for a good majority of your pathetic career? See, Fiora, it's not my intention to intimidate you with what I know. The truth, you already wear it like a heart on a sleeve. You have let your resentment towards yourself get the best of you. Now, you want to go ahead and say, "Wrestling did this to me." When the reality is, Nathan Fiora did this to you.

To let a man so confined inside the four walls he built around himself tell me what my reality is? Don’t make me laugh. You know, for a man who prides himself on exposing the world around him, you haven’t shown the world who the true Nathan Fiora is. There was a time where you were a rising star Fiora. A brief pause, Harvey chuckling at the thought of his conclusion.

Thank God you’ve yet to accomplish anything more than a lousy title run and shooting the shit behind a commentary table, because you’re not the man who can lead the New Breed division. You’re unfit, and at Shock Value, it’s all about knowing what your worth to this brand truly is. Fuck, who better to make you fall to reality than someone who can reach limits you didn’t even know you have?"

We fade into a new scene, one that’s darker and more menacing than the last. For a moment, it seemed as though we’re staring at a blank screen, until a vintage television turns on. A hand presses ‘play’ and we see an interrogation room come to life. Despite the chilling atmosphere that the room seemed to give off, Harvey remained unfazed. He stands before the camera, poised with arrogance and an undying sense of determination.

HARVEY YORKE ››› 'ultraviolence'... "I refuse to be forgotten. But do not mistake that as a need for attention. I could care less about the mass followings, the voices of disapproval, the people trying to decypher my true intentions. Ha! Keep believing in the lies. You see, it’s impossible to unravel the real Harvey Yorke. It’s best to keep your best self hidden. As I overturn one generation to the next, you’ll all be thanking me. Voltage is crying out for someone to lead the new generation."

Harvey turns away from the camera, only momentarily. As if to say “...And that’s me,” but the harsh lighting made it hard to tell.

HARVEY YORKE ››› 'ultraviolence'... "I returned to spread the truth. Not just about my opposition, but about myself. And if I’m being fucking honest, allowing anyone of these miserable cunts to take that opportunity away from me would cause me a great deal of pain. That I will admit. But all the unpredictability, all the chaos, all the mad control that consumes me—those traits overcome the sorrow. I will not allow defeat to deter me. I’ll be doing Voltage, NEO...hell, the future of this industry a favor by taking these seven men's hopes and dreams. Their hearts may be in the right place, but you must all believe me when I say that they’re only in this fight to benefit themselves, and that’s if they can find it within them to dethrone Finnegan Wakefield. Everybody licks their lips at the sight of championship gold, but not everybody bites. Everybody fights for the betterment of the future, but time itself cannot be controlled by the feeble-minded.

The Saint’s last words play back repeatedly before the screen glitches. Cut to static. Fade to black.
