CHAPTER #21 - Showdown #3 YOU CAN THINK YOU"RE THE BEST.
BUT THERE WILL ALWAYS BE ONE PERSON BETTER.

BUT I"M THAT ONE PERSON.
What we apparently have here is a failure to communicate, either that or Cameron has not listened to any word I've said. I say that because it appears that Cameron shares a different opinion about the word respect. I mean it's quite obvious she's heard me talk about what I'm doing for these two men and it appears that she knows they wouldn't be anywhere close to where they are today without me. Yet she stands there and tries to tell me that these two men are going to turn there backs on me? She's trying to tell me that because she doesn't want what I've been saying all along to be right. She's saying that because she knows in the back of her mind what I'm doing for these two men is the right thing to do. It bothers Cameron that I have maybe more respect then she does and quite frankly that's nothing to take personal. I like to say I have more respect then most people in the industry and I tend to show it over and over again. So now what you're saying is what I'm doing isn't okay simply because you know that Interwire Championship will be lost from your waste come Showdown. You say that because you want me to believe that you're smarter then I think you are. Cameron, I've been around the wrestling world for a long time and I've been in the ring with people like you. People who think they know who I am, but in the end they all find out they were completely wrong. You say I could be a decent man, but I really want to know is what's a decent man in your eyes. Does being a decent man mean you leave two brothers who want nothing more then to be part of the wrestling business sleeping on the sidewalk? If that's what makes somebody a decent person Cameron then I'm sorry, but I'm not that. What I am doing is giving these two men a place in the wrestling world that others would only dream about being in. Cameron what makes you think I haven't given these two men the clothes off my back? What makes you think I haven't spent my last few bucks on meals for them to eat because they haven't had anything to eat in three days? Cameron what you need to realize is that the wrestling world is full of people who think they know what they're up against. You're just another one of those people who are going to find out that I'm nothing what you're expecting. I'm much more then that because at the end of the day I promise you Cameron I will be leaving that ring as the new EAW Interwire Champion.
People like to ask me why I do the things that I do in the ring and every single time I say it's because I love wrestling. I love stepping through those ropes and the feeling I have waiting for my opponent. I love the feeling I get when everybody gets amped about a move I do in the ring. Cameron you just proved that you're going into this match with the totally wrong frame of mind. If you actually believe that I am going to use these boys in any way on Showdown then you haven't heard what I've been saying. You're going into this match against me and only me because I want to be able to say that I defeated you. I mean lets face it you're one of the best around here and whether I like it or not you are very well liked. That doesn't mean I'm not going to beat you on Showdown and take that Championship from you. It doesn't mean that I'm going to let up on you at all because like I said after you take the first strike It's game on. As for me not getting my revenge on Showdown it really wasn't something that I had to hold back from. I walked out of that ring with my hand raised in the air and I think that's worth a lot more then revenge. I think having him know that I will soon be the Interwire Champion is something that will eat at him. It's something that's going to drive him crazy because he knows he could be in the spot I am right now. Rex knows that he blew his shot last week and he knows there's not a damn thing he can do about it. You like to make jokes and pretend to tell me that you're proud of me. That's not what I want Cameron because you'll be giving me all I want on Showdown. Trust me when the match is all said and done I will have earned every little bit of respect that I'll need from you. Believe me you have absolutely no idea what you're stepping into and when you do it'll be way too late. When you realize what's going on I will be leaving the ring holding my new Championship and I will continue letting the world know exactly who I am. I will continue guiding these men to places they would only dream about being without me. Cameron whether you respect me right now or not isn't something I'm worried about because after I defeat you on Showdown. You won't have any choice, but to respect me because you and I will be seeing a lot of each other in the future. Believe me Cameron I know what you're all about and I know that after I take your Interwire Championship this week you'll probably have more then one chance to get it back. I have no problem with that, but I promise you Cameron when our little feud is finished I WILL HAVE EARNED YOUR FUCKING RESPECT. Impression, you think that's what I plan on making this week on Showdown? Sweetheart I've already made an impression and that's exactly why I'll be leaving the ring this week with gold around my waste. What I plan on doing this week is making yet another impact in the middle of that ring because you are one of the best. You are somebody that everybody wants to defeat, but Cameron trust me I won't have a problem doing that on Showdown. Like it or not you aren't as good as you think you are because defeating the same guy four times, doesn't make you any better then me beating the same guy once. The fact of the matter is that you're going into this match thinking it's a three on one match. You're going into this match thinking you're going to have to worry about these two brothers, but trust me Cameron. The only person you're going too need to worry about on Showdown is me...BRAYDEN FUCKING CRUISE.
What happened last week in the battle royal match was something that was going to happen either way and what Cameron needs to realize is the exact same thing others need to realize. I did what I did last week because if I didn't these two brothers would probably be sitting somewhere outside of a burger king waiting for somebody to throw out a half burger. Now Cameron these two are about to eat a steak dinner and never have to worry about a damn thing in there lives. So why didn't I just do it myself? I needed a way to introduce these two boys and I think I did a pretty good job of a it last week. Don't get things mixed up Cameron I would have still left that ring with my hand raised in the air whether those two showed up or not. You say I haven't really done anything for me to be the number one contender, but that doesn't change the fact that I'm going to be leaving the ring with the same Championship you hold so proudly on your waste. I'm going to be taking that Championship and I'm going to defend it better then you could ever dream of. I'm going to be a Champion that this company needs and whether you like it or not Cameron I'm going to take this company by storm. It's already begun Cameron and after I become the new EAW Interwire Champion things will do nothing, but continue to fall into place. Sooner or later you won't have any choice, but to watch me climb that ladder while you stand and wait for your next opportunity. I'm going to be leaving you in the middle of the ring thinking about whether or not you actually belong in the same ring as me and I already know that answer Cameron. It's no and I don't say that because I don't think women belong in the same ring as men. I say that because Cameron you have no idea the type of things I can do when that bell rings. You have absolutely no idea what kind of pain and suffering I can leave you in which is why I know you don't belong in the same ring as me. That's the reason I don't think you're ready for what's coming on Showdown because who knows Cameron. Things may not go your way and you may be left in the middle of the ring staring down at a pool of your own blood.
I get it Cameron you're a hard working women who wanted more then what you were given. You fought for what you have today and for that I do respect you, but that doesn't mean I won't be taking everything you've worked hard for on Showdown. That doesn't mean I won't be leaving you wondering if you are actually as good as you think you are. You say you don't want to stroke your own ego, but lets face it Cameron we both know you could probably beat more then 2/3 of the lockeroom and I have no problem admitting that. I don't know about the rest of the guys in the back, but like I said Cameron I'm a guy who has respect. Each and every single time I step into the ring I have respect for my opponents. The amount of respect I have for my opponent will determine how they're left when the match is finished. I have respect for you Cameron simply for the fact that you've done a lot in your career. I like the fact that you're not worried about stepping into the ring with me because it shows a lot of heart. You don't know a lot about me and yet you still continue to say that you will be walking out of the ring on Showdown still holding that Interwire Championship. You say our match this week on Showdown is a test for me and in a few different ways it is. I mean I've never had a match against a women and even if it's not something I'll enjoy doing. Our match on Showdown is a test for me against a women like you, the best in the business right? The other part of this match being a test is the fact that this is my first Championship match in my EAW career. A lot of people are asking if I can get the job done so our match is somewhat of a test to see if I can get the job done. You say you can defeat anybody who steps into the ring with you, but this week is going to be different because I'm not Jason Cage. I'm not the same guy you've defeated four times in a row. I'm somebody who a lot of people would look at as the new guy, but it's pretty obvious I've already made my mark. It's pretty obvious that I've been noticed and after Showdown I'll be more then that. After Showdown I'll be looked at as an EAW Champion because I'll have the title wrapped around my waste. Cameron you may be a great Champion, but your time has come to pass that Championship down and that's exactly what's going to happen this week. Don't worry Cameron I'll be just as good as you are as a Champion, in fact I'll be a better Champion. THE BEST FUCKING INTERWIRE CHAMPION IN HISTORY.
In the world of wrestling Cameron as a Champion or somebody looking for a title shot it seems like you're always trying to prove yourself. Whether it's to the fans who watch you in the ring or the management who make the matches and call the shots. You're right Cameron you aren't done proving yourself and neither am I because the fact is you're never done. Even as a Champion your'e always going to have a challenger that people think you'll have too prove yourself to. I may not be that challenger Cameron, but I'll tell you one thing I will be walking out of the ring this week holding that Championship. You haven't seen all that I have to offer Cameron because I signed my contract not long ago. I've only had a few matches and if you honestly believe what I've done this far is all I have to offer then you're completely wrong. Even after I defeat you this week EAW will not have seen the best that I have to offer because for that to happen. For me to be at my best my opponent will need to be the same and this week Cameron I already know you won't be on your game. You've made it clear that your mind isn't on Brayden Cruise which leads me to believe you're doing everything wrong. It makes me think that you're not thinking straight and that's not a good thing for a Champion. These two men will have absolutely no impact in our match on Showdown Cameron, but like I've already stated that won't make any difference. I'm walking into that ring with a job and that is to become the new EAW Interwire Champion. I"M THE FUCKING BEST this company has to offer and Cameron you're about to find that out first hand.
