This is something that I have been considering for the last few weeks. This doesn't come down to me not wanting to write, but it's time for me to step down as the head writer of Showdown. Those who I talk to on a regular basis know that this year hasn't particularly been the greatest outside of fedding. I've been dealing with family problems with my mum being in hospital and my sister attempting self harm, and personally I'm not in the greatest place myself. I've recently moved out of home and have struggled to find my feet, which in doing so has caused me to put this on the back burner while I sort the rest of this stuff out. I've considered retiring from fedding completely, but I enjoy it too much and would find myself back sooner rather than later. But, with that being said, I need to cut down on some of the aspects of this, which first comes with Showdown to begin to sort out these issues that I'm currently dealing with, and it's not fair for those on the brand to wait longer than they should because I can't keep up with any of it. As for this weeks Showdown which is currently a few days late - I'm doing my best to get it up as quickly as I can and am hoping to have it up within the next 24 hours. I appreciate everyone's patience, which I've done since taking over a few months ago, and I apologise for the tardiness that you've been dealing with in my tenure. I hope that you enjoyed what I've put out alongside Robbie.

As someone, that feels like a very small part of a big community that roots each other on during the good times. I feel it's only right to support each other just the same during the bad times, the stressful times. Forget the show, because it seems like what you are dealing with may have been something that has been a red flag a while ago to relieve some of the weight off your shoulders. None of us are a real life Hercules as much as we would like to try and tell ourselves and others that we are. Sometimes life finds a way to, from a figurative standpoint, kick our asses. It's then that making small changes becomes necessary. I commend you for having the courage to step up in the first place. Head writer is a big responsibility, one that deserves a great deal of attention just to have the shows out on time. I think I speak for most on the roster when I say that despite the fact that shows have been later than other brands, that you still have produced and put out quality work and made a great effort to make it the best brand that you could. So for that, thanks for handling your situation with some class, and thanks for being able to still produce even during hard times. I'm sure it's going to get better in due time. Keep your head up. I wish only the best for you and your family. I know you aren't retiring, but taking some time away isn't the worst thing in the world either to give you a chance to recharge the batteries. But whatever you decide, just realize as I'm sure you do anyways that you have a great community behind you one hundred percent. Good luck with everything.
