What do you mean by that exactly? Freebird Rules?

If so, you may have to refresh my memory of who did that in last year's Tournament.

I would prefer people make a team and that remains the same throughout the Tournament, because what i do vaguely remember of what you're talking about, I didn't like it.

Also, in case it wasn't said anywhere in all of this, only 16 teams will be allowed to participate, so anymore beyond that will have to be considered potential replacements for anyone who has to back out of the Tournament prior to it starting after Shock Value.

Not sure what exactly you mean, but all there is to it is that you have to have a character who's signed up individually and then post your team's voluntary participation in this thread. As for alts, you cannot team with yourself and as anyone should know, anyone in EAW is only allowed two characters: their primary one and their alt, so don't make a third character to join this if you already handle two.
