Tag Team Bio: Shimmer and Sparkles was created as a means for Moongoose McQueen to promote his new and debut comic book series featuring one of his heroes growing up, his deranged lunatic of a brother, The Artist Formerly Known as Shimmer, aka Dustin Shackleford McQueen. McQueen had hired a maid to cosplay as the titular sidekick of the dynamic duo, Sparkles. However, Shimmer and Sparkles ended up having too much fun investing into the character roles, and are now living in the false pretense that they are actual superheroes, where Shimmer gets into the most trouble, but his partner in crime, Sparkles is always there to bail him out. But in all seriousness, someone should get these 2 some legit help. Moongoose isn't doing it, because it's free marketing for his book. No, don't laugh. I'm dead serious. These two can end up hurt, and can the world afford to forsake another diva.... and a maid. Don't encourage this behavior you sick f*cks.

Team Bio: After April’s successful claiming of the EAW Specialists Championship, her private employer called her to see if her recently expressed desire to claim the Unified Tag Team Championships was still legitimate. After April responded yes, the mysterious employer told her that she would find a suitable partner….and did they! Ryan Savage, a former Tag Champion, New Breed Champion, Young Lions Cup Holder and Pure Champion. While April seems concerned that Ryan may have things other than the Tag Team Championships on his radar and may not be fully focused, Ryan himself worries that April may have too much on her plate competing on Empire and defending the Specialists Championship. Despite this, they both see the potential for a lethal combination of power and technical ability and look to take advantage of the Grand Prix to eventually challenge the High Rollerz. Also…if fate is kind (as far as April is concerned), perhaps she will have a chance to avenge defeats to the likes of Aria Jaxon (should she enter) and Madison Kaline, further solidifying the grip she has on being one of Empire’s elite. As for Ryan, this pairing is another chance to claim Championship gold and prove that his comeback is not a simple “flash in the pan” return, building momentum towards a World Championship challenge.
