Team History/How They Became a Team:
Jakob and Danny first met at small Indy Wrestling show in Texas; Jakob was ten as was Danny backstage whilst Danny’s brother and Jakob’s Father and the rest of the roster participated in a battle royal. They chatted- Danny started the conversation by randomly throwing himself onto Jakob to lock in the world’s worst sleeper hold and Jakob ended the conversation with a figure four leglock. They kept in contact and a week later Danny stayed the night round Jakob’s; they somehow managed to get through two crates of Dr Pepper and Chris DeLion’s whole collection of Japanese Wrestling tapes. The next week Jakob stayed around Danny’s- of course the Noxx family isn’t anywhere near as rich as the DeLion’s but this did not bother Jakob who stayed the night and the next morning promised Danny that he would never have to live like that again.
When each of them could; Danny stayed round Jakob’s multiple houses every night, Danny with the DeLion’s went on holiday to Egypt, Italy and the U.K. And during this time Danny basically became an adopted member of the Family. They trained together at Chris DeLion’s Dojo from the age of twelve and during their two year friendship they had bonded over each other’s love for Professional Wrestling, appreciation of Rock N’ Roll and desire for women.
Many years later when Jakob was given permission to take the DeLion name to the ring; the two did what they planned to do since the beginning of their friendship, World’s Most Wanted was created and like their theme song says they “Set the world on fire” becoming in a short period of time the Lucha Underground Trios Championship with a cardboard cutout of one of Jakob’s many brothers: Vtech. The duo carried on to win multiple other Indy Tag Team Championships- the team have never had any disputes or have broken up.
Although Jakob’s and Danny’s Wrestling differ dramatically; Jakob likes to play with prey before finishing them but Danny much rather punch you in the face and get it over with. This of course makes two a very unique tag team who are very unpredictable both inside and outside the ring.
Tag Team Moves:
Favourite Moves: Turntable Backbreaker: Noxx Irish whips opponent into the ropes, on their return Noxx connects with a spinning backbreaker although Noxx does not let go of the opponent instead Jakob swiftly runs in with a knee strike to the opponent's skull- with this new found momentum Noxx spins around to connect with a more sinister back breaker.
Wheelbarrow suplex (Jakob) into a sit out powerbomb (Noxx).
Wish bone-This move, which is named after the tradition of pulling on a wishbone, sees two wrestlers each take hold of an opponent's leg (who is lying face up on the mat) and yank them in opposite directions stretching out the groin area.
Jakob grabs hold of opponent with a rear waist lock, Noxx strikes opponent with a elbow from behind to opponent who is German Suplexed into a bridge.
Noxx is on the middle rope with opponent in a fireman's carry position to connect with a rolling senton. Jakob from the top rope connects with a elbow drop.
Jakob connects with a top rope powerbomb. Noxx flies in with a double footstomp to opponent.
Double suicide dive to the outside.
Corner Monkey flip by Noxx into a lariat by Jakob.
Reverse Shining Wizard to a seated by Jakob but at the same time from the front Noxx connects with a Sliding D (Sliding Elbow).
Signature Moves:
We Gotta’ Go Back!- double Spanish Fly from the top rope
Across the Legacy- Jakob locks in “The Legacy” (Liontamer) whilst Noxx locks in a Crossface on the opponent.
Finisher(s): Noxxic-struck: Jakob raises opponent in a vertical suplex position, Noxx bounces off the ropes to connect with a roaring elbow to the opponent allowing Jakob to connect with a snap brainbuster.
D.F.A- Death From Above: Jakob has opponent in a hanging cutter in the corner. Noxx from the top rope connects with a double foot stomp to the back of opponent's neck- Jakob falls with the force connecting with the cutter.
