I've shared this with a few EAW members, and I was recently encouraged to make a thread about this, so here it is.
On the same site that I ran an efed on in 2009 and wrote efed "books" (i.e., accounts of my time efedding) on in 2011 and 2015 (feel free to check them out if you want), I decided to celebrate my possibly unhealthy love for sports by writing at length about 100 plays that I appreciate. To have even 10 memorable plays as a sports fan is great, so for me to have 100 despite most of my favorite teams being bad is something I wanted to document and have on my website for posterity (translation: I probably wouldn't have remembered most of these in a few years had I not done this). And, as a sports fan, I'm not entitled to even one great play, so I figured that this was my best way to not take them for granted.
Some of you might find some of the plays, or the rankings, ridiculous; some of these might bring back bad memories (example: Madison, I know you're a Mets fan, so you might not appreciate some of the Royals plays). That's because your lists would be different than mine, and I encourage you to come up with your own, whether it's a list of 10, 50, 100, or anything. If you're not a big sports fan, come up with your own lists about wrestling moments, TV show moments, songs - you name it. Meanwhile, feel free to ask me about certain plays, why I ranked them so high/low, or plays you're thinking of that aren't on my list at all.
I started this project over a month ago, and I'm actually not done with it; the Top 10 has yet to be posted, and I'll be updating this thread with the links when they do get posted.
And, finally, I did this primarily for myself, but as I say on the title page, I hope you come along for the ride and this project keeps you entertained throughout!
