Give up on football, mate. ^^^^^^^^^^^^ Reus gave up the 'spotlight' football and is injured quite a lot Also, his team was in contention for 'relegation' last season He's an extremely talented footballer but I asked for the 3RD BEST and Reus is not close. There are a few viable options in his counterpart teams in Munich with Muller and Neuer but not Reus.. not right now. Anyways, my answer is Suarez. It'd be Aguero if Suarez didn't have such an amazing finish to the season last season and Aguero fell a bit off but either way, both are up there |

| I wouldn't say he 'gave up on the spotlight', he's fantastic footballer and he'd walk into most teams, but c'mon now pal. |

I saw a few days ago that he denied an offer to Barca and other 'big' clubs because he didnt want to be in the spotlight shadow. It might just be loyalty to his club and I don't question him if it is but him making that decision kind of really takes him out of running for one of the BITW |

| I don't see why what club he plays for matters exactly, not like the Bundesliga is a weak league or something but yeah, Reus would be a top 15 player for me but top 3? lul ventura.
49 Million deal from City for Sterling, take a bow Liverpool you've robbed em. |

| I say that the Bundesliga is a top 5 league in the world already, it's just unfortunate that it's really a one team race there (I mean, Wolfsburg WAS 10 points behind, but we all knew that Munich had that in the books for a while).
Man United continue to be in the transfer market, confirming the signing of Southampton's Morgan Schneiderlin. Because what they need is another fucking midfielder... |

| We needed two more CM's, but that's one hell of a midfield we got now, crazy to think two years ago our midfield had the likes of Tom Cleverly in it.
Just need a competant defender in, resign God to a contract and a striker in and we're set. |

Lacazette, Perrin, and Gundogan, you three are my only hope now. Gundogan just signed a new contract with Dortmund, going nowhere. And of course Schneiderlin would 'ditch you', Southampton never accepted any bids from Arsenal for him ever |

| At this point, I feel bad for Liverpool
In other news, Barca have signed Turan and Aleix Vidal which makes for a good window. Pedro might be leaving so either we call up Munir or buy a striker solely for bench/sub/copa del rey purposes |

| Benteke to Liverpool for 32.5 million. Sergio Romero signs deal with Man United. Tomas Muller 100 million rumors put to rest by Real Madrid, do not plan to buy him.
Thoughts? |

| Re Beneteke: Said it before, he's a good striker but not what Liverpool need, doesn't suit their style of play at all, massively over-paid on him and he's woefully inconsistent, not Mario Balotelli levels of inconsistent but he's one of the best 'four month strikers around'. His injury did a number on him and I don't rate him as a top level striker, Liverpool will probably struggle (again) this season with Benteke, Igns, Balotelli and Sturridge up front as only Sturridge is a top level premiership striker and even then he spends more time in the physio room than he does on the pitch. If/when Sturridge is fit, he's a bench player. Re Utd buying Romero: Eh, couldn't really care. He's a second-choice keeper this season and always will be if we're really forcing De Gea to spend another season here and run out his contract, will mean Valdes is off but Van Gaal already confirmed that last week. I'd still prefer us to get Lloris in whenever De Gea goes (unless he wants to sign a contract and stay with us, pls de gea ) Re Thomas Muller: Haven't heard anything about Madrid so I can't comment on that but I'd be completely over the moon with Muller, he's not worth anything close to 100 million but in today's market with the likes of Gareth Fail going for 100m and David Luiz going for 50m and he's considerably better than Bale/Munich would be daft to let him go, so i don't know. What I do know, he's a world-class attacking player and a little underrated aswell, always up there at Munich for top goal-scorer and he's a fantastic shooter, passer and above else he's utterly fantastic at finding space and exploiting it. The Striker issue at Utd worries me because Rooney, despite my deep personal hatred for the man, always without fail goes into long periods of being absolutely shite and Hernandez has proven he's not good enough to be a starter for a top team aiming for the league with his horrible first touch and the fact that he's always offside and Wilson, despite potential, is too young to lead the line and I don't trust Van Gaal at all to give him game time (as evidenced from the fact he got two appearences last season despite Falcao/Van Persie being utter tripe and Rooney being sent into midfield) Idea of us replacing Di Maria with Pedro worries me and I'll be absolutely frustrated if we actually get rid of a player who's easily one of the best in the world when used correctly after one bad season and then replace him with Pedro. I know people on here rate him and I've seen plenty of other people on different places rate him too but he's average in my eyes and very much a 'system' player who hasn't even been that good since Pep Guardiola left Barcelona in 2012. Considering the amount of idiotic moves Van Gaal/Woodwards made in the last year, wouldn't shock me at all if we actually did it but it'd be moronic, in-form Di Maria easily makes his way into any team on the planet. Replacing him with Pedro will hamper us if Di Maria plays at anywhere near what he used to do at the start of the season. If he wants to leave then Pedro will be a decent addition but it's far from ideal as it leaves us with only Young capable of playing as a conventional winger and as much as he's done well in the last 12 months, that's still not a nice thought. If we can go into next season with a more stable base he really should excel. I'm still worried about having Rooney as our only striker, but having someone capable of pulling assists out of his arse even when playing awful would certainly ease my mind, Pedro doesn't do that. Muller would and Benzema would. We need somebody with flair, somebody who can create something out of nothing even when he's playing bad which Di Maria did last season, Pedro's overrated and isn't what we need or should be going for, he's a typical Liverpool signing if anything. |

| ''Arsene Wenger has questioned Manchester United's transfer policy, suggesting the club has sacrificed its principles in pursuit of glory. United have spent close to £80m to lure the likes of Memphis Depay, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin to Old Trafford, while Wenger has signed just one reinforcement so far in £10m goalkeeper Petr Cech. The Frenchman reckons United have flexed financial muscle to the detriment of youth development and believes Louis van Gaal's summer splurge is evidence of a club that has "no patience".'' Fucking hilarious considering we gave MORE youth players their senior debuts last season than Arsenal did in the league ( The likes of Tyler Blackett, Paddy McNair, Andreas Pereira, Jesse Lingard, Reece James, Michael Keane, Tom Thorpe) and were only second to Southampton by one player in doing so, maybe he should less time of being a hypocrite and actually focus on, ya know, not being a specialist in failure and actually try winning something but an FA Cup against relegation-threatened sides? |
