There are a lot of reason but it connects one another.

First, it's because my language barrier. I am not feeling too confident to play as American/British character because of my language skills. Yes, even I'm a little bit too hesitant to have Haruna's promo with Jade Knight in it. So I think it would be wise if I play as a non-English speaking characters. I was once using French characters in old fed but there's another member comes from France so again, I'm hesitant. Yes, the remaining choice would be a Japanese.

Plus, I understand Japanese for a bit and also the culture and the characteristics of Japanese people since I have a few pen friends from Japan. As you may know, I am not really into animes so I didn't pick a Japanese character based on animes. But yeah, Haruna is most likely a character based on my own experience handling Japanese young girls.... with a little touch of doramas.
