In other words, what's something about WWE or professional wrestling in general that you know probably isn't a popular opinion?

Randy Orton is a worker that a lot of wrestlers should aspire to be like. You can tell every move he hits he's literally done it 10,000 times and mastered it, and he's in character from the moment he exits the curtain to the moment he returns. Not something these guys who can do 100 flips or know 10,000 submission holds seem to grasp, but something that's a huge part of the business.

Y2Impact had always been a John Cena supporter/fan and had defended him to people who says Cena sucks.

I think people who lose more rarely and are built strong like HHH put over people more so than Jerichos, RVDs and others who lose all of the time and therefore their losses have no impact.

Conversely, Jericho put over Cena when he was a rookie in 2002 and look where he ended up -- face of the WWE for the past ten years. The only egregious mishap WWE or Jericho made was the Fandango storyline, and bear in mind he eventually won at Extreme Rules so it's not like they built him as someone incapable of winning. He's noted for it, and he's made it a thing, but he's not responsible for what the wrestlers do with their careers after the fact. His job is to help them gain recognition, and there's no way someone can deny he's helped plenty of people like Ziggler, Fandango, Evan Bourne, and so many others do exactly that, regardless of where they are now or where they end up. I seem to recall HHH being one of the first people to put over Curt Axel, and where the fuck is he? Put over Daniel Bryan, and now there are talks that he's going to take a reduced role ala Punk when he returns. Beating HHH is not a meal ticket to stardom, nor is beating Jericho. The creative team and the wrestlers themselves are most at fault for failing to succeed. |

I've always found Dolph Ziggler as a bit of a try-hard. Talent is definitely there, but in his promos, he seems like he's trying too hard to impress management.
