Yes! I am hyped to see Elias Samson since he debuting as a drifter.... pulling out a promo with a music is something different. Can't wait to see him.

I've seen Samson live three times and the gimmick is...Meh. He just brings out the guitar, poses with it, and that's about it. He played A song at the Aftershock Music Festival NXT show, and it seemed pointless. Something like "gimme your money, I'm who you came to see. Sacramento is gross, something bout NXT." Very old tyme gimmick.
He's a strong worker, though. Solid matches at Aftershock and NXT Lakeland. If they keep the gimmick toned down, he can go places.

Ah. They should keep the songs for vignettes and rare times, but keep him looking cool regularly as a drifter.

I hope WWE is serious with this guy because I noticed that there is a deep meaning behind the song in this vignette, not just a generic drifter song. I just hope Samson didn't end like Solomon Crowe, WWE seems not putting a lot of attention to his "Hacker" gimmick until in the end, he asked to be released.
