What did you think of WWE Payback?

Again, I feel this is another point where fans say that this will be a "low expectation pay per view." It wasn't designed to be good at all, and it was very well put on. All the matches, in my opinion mind you, were excellent. Booking decisions were very good as well, the whole thing was honestly very well done. 

Favorite Match: Main event. This is going to be pretty common, I guarentee it, but this match blew my mind. Brilliant spots, great moments, and just...very good. 

Surprises?: Shield Reunion powerbomb. That moment was just beautiful and made me squee. Like a fangirl. I have a penis and I squeed. 

In all, very good show.

It was pretty solid in my opinion. Finally some good booking.

Favorite Match - The main event. Pretty enjoyable to watch and probably the best Fatal Four Match we've seen in a while (on the main roster even though the Divas Fatal Four Way Match Was Betta)

Surprises - Bray Wyatt won, and Ambrose didn't get pinned in the Fatal Four Way Match. Also the glimpse of the shield reuniting for a brief moment.

Side note: The hounds of justice chants were pretty cool.

What did you think of WWE Payback?
Finally got a hold of the PPV, and watched it. Again, with PPV's so close to each other, every PPV that isn't one of the big four is gonna be a 'low expectation PPV'. To me, I didn't like much of the buildup, except for the matches that WWE seem to give a shit about (Cena/Rusev and the 4-Way). The PPV was what I expected, it had some good moments, but overall it was so-so. 

Favorite match?
I know this one is going to be a popular opinion, but the Fatal Four Way match was my favorite. They did the right spots at the right time, and there were stories with every person involved, so it made for a really good match.

Surprises?
Two of them. First off, I'm surprised they gave Ryback 15 minutes with Bray. The match was slow, but him in a 15 minute match? I don't know...
Other one was the finish to the Cena/Rusev match. I honestly thought that it was going to be something where Rusev puts Lana in the Accolade and then Cena begs for him to stop and ultimately say "I Quit" so Lana doesn't get injured. That would have been a better way to have the Rusev/Lana breakup.

Solid PPV for WWE. It didn't feel like a complete waste of time like most RAWs feel like.

Best matches were the tag team championship match and the fatal four way. The rest of the PPV was decent.

The only thing I was surprised by was Ambrose not being pinned. I like that Orton took the fall because it doesn't hurt anyone involved and now we can get Ambrose/Rollins at EC. I think it will lead to Kane vs. Orton or Kane/Orton/Reigns for number 1 contendership.

Also like that Rollins adopted the Pedigree, much better move than the weak DDT he used on RAW and makes sense for his character. Hopefully they bring back the curb stomp eventually though.
