Anime should get it's own sub-section under "General Discussion".

That's like saying TNA should have its own section. It would be ask me anything subforum status in 3 days.

ummm.... since we have a section request here..... I don't know if it will work in here, but is it okay if we have a roleplay section? I think some people need it for their in-character interaction, for a stable discussion, or any in-character needs.

Honestly my intentions when making us hop over to forums was to minimize the look compared to others. A bunch of forum feds end up with 24 sections that end up dead. I'm not saying anime isn't big enough but it def isn't a big enough niche to stand on its own as I look at some of the newer sections. And another promo section? Im iffy on it since its been the set up we have had for years and its worked.

I don't see why people get so bent out of shape over anime stuff, but I'd be fine with at least testing out doing a sub-section for anime so we at least wouldn't have to clump everything we want to discuss about it in one forum thread (if we made more threads, people who don't watch anime would bitch and moan). I say it's worth at least giving a shot, and if it doesn't work, then not a big deal.

From my perspective, the AMA section doesn't really have to be super active; all it needs to be is an index to easily find those threads and possibly an outlet for both the experienced and new to introduce themselves. With that said, I don't see the need for tons of sub-forums and I think everything is just fine as it is. It's not like you have to comment on the anime threads, so why does it bother anyone? Does it make them insecure that they're not a part of something a lot of people here like? It's no different than comic books and superhero shows, really. Complicating things is unnecessary.

I might be thinking of instead having a different section of Anime, It's actually wrestling topic who should be made a different section. Besides, the anime thread is currently dead right now.

@TRE: No, that's not a kind of promo section I was talking about. The section is pretty much similar but EAW Feed thread, but we do a verbal communication and face to face instead of tweeting online, yeah, like all the roleplays should be. It won't be affected to promo judging like the feed, though.

You act like seeing anime threads will kill you, geez.

I'm not doing it out of spite, I'm doing it to help. Anime is one of the biggest hobbies in EAW. There are a bunch of threads about it already so I don't see why we shouldn't make an entire sub-section for it. You could discuss anything you want at any time.

Also, I think Haruna's idea is pretty cool if people feel like it could give backstories sort of like how I use my chronicles page and stuff to their characters friendships in EAW and all that stuff. As long as its not mandatory, and doesn't effect match decisions, because I'd probably only do so with people I'd be linked with in storyline as a team, or Bane type pals who I'd be cool roleplaying with.

Smh at people thinking it's gonna complicate things, it's gonna organize everything.

We should have sub-sections for a lot of shit. Sports, music, movies/TV, etc. Everything is way too cluttered right now, which is why I haven't been posting as frequently.

1.) Too late to have multiple subsections for music, tv, movies, etc. Unless you want to move all the threads yourself which I doubt cuz you barely wanna do anything anymore.
2.) We aren't KTT with thousands of members, not every section would be active.
3.) We've had the same forum set up for years, even on webs we had 2 sections.
4.) Stop lying, that's not why you don't post as much.
5.) I'm basing this off experience & what I see/I've saw and know.

1. Fuck you, that hurt. And we wouldn't have to move every forum, just a few/the popular ones.
2. Never even brought up KTT. And idk why you're so caught up on activeness, if people wanna post there they will.
3. Sometimes you need to evolve. Plus webs forums wasn't nearly as active as we are now, so it was easier to track shit down.

Hell I'm pretty sure I use to bug you all the time to make a section for efedzone where people could do stuff for their character, which is basically what Haruna said, but with the added bonus of also at times working with other people.

It's been clear that people can send things in for E-Fed Zone for a while now, how many have done it though? Less than 10.
