| Should they be required to give extensive answers? Is it okay with you if they give one-word answers? Does it depend on their profile (stardom/success)? Personally, I think it's important for QBs and guys who are your vocal leaders, but otherwise I don't really care. |

| I personally think that it should be only high profile stars that should do three taking along with the coaches, but they should have the right to refuse to talk should they want to and not get fined |

| Players and Coaches shouldn't be obligated to speak. If they don't want to speak to the media, they should have every right to do so without being fined. |

| Nobody is required to do anything. Anyone can say anything they want as long as it doesn't offend other individuals |

| I like this question, and I feel as though Athletes shouldn't be required to the media speak at all. I can't possibly see how thats within the job description. There's nothing they need to say to us that's more important than what they do on the field, on the court, in the ring, etc. |

| If an arrested man has the right to remain silent, an athlete should as well. |

Actually, there are rules that require players to talk to the media in sports. It doesn't specify that the interviews have to be substantive, but certain players are requested and have to make themselves available. |

| Marshawn Lynch is the best running back in the NFL. If he doesn't wanna talk to you, get the fuck out of his face. I don't believe anyone should be forced to talk to anyone at anytime about anything. |

| By the way, why the fuck does Bill Belichick get a free pass for blatantly trolling the media? Just because he's a coach and his behavior is more subtle doesn't make it excusable to turn the other cheek. If anything, that makes his actions more reprehensible and blameworthy. |

| Bill Belicheck is a dick
Tom Brady is a dick
That's all.
Just kidding I'll answer the question.
Quarterbacks are the leaders of your team. They are always 100% supposed to make you look good as a coach, because play only goes as far as the plays the coach are calling, and the Quarterback is supposed to be the voice of the team.
Other stars like Sherman, Lynch, they are completely optional |
